Ricky Martin On Coming Out To His Parents Posted: 29 Nov 2010 05:40 PM PST Once again, Ricky Martin provides us with inspiration! Here's what Martin had to say about the easy experience he had coming out to his parents: "[Mom] asked me, 'Baby, are you in love?' And I said, 'Yeah mom, I am in love.' And she asked me, 'Is it a man?' and I thought, 'Wow, this is gonna be easier than what I thought.' And I said, 'Yes mom, it's a man.' "I was extremely surprised and then she said, 'Come on, give me a hug. You're my son and I love you, and I will always be here for you.' So it was very beautiful." More from Martin: "My father… he kinda told me. I wanted to tell him and he said, 'You don't have to say a word. I love you and I just want you to be happy.'" Anti-Gay App Disappears From App Store! Posted: 29 Nov 2010 05:30 PM PST Considering Apple donated $100,000 to oppose the ban on gay marriage, we knew it was weird for them to host an anti-gay app! As we previously reported, anti-gay app The Manhattan Declaration was once available on Apple's App Store, but now it is nowhere to be found. It seems thousands of people banned together to sign an online petition asking Apple to remove the app. "Supporters of equal rights and the right of women to control their own bodies must stand together and say to Apple: 'Applications that support hate and division have no place in the iTunes Store,'" read the petition. Good for them. Equality for all!

SuBo: The Musical! Posted: 29 Nov 2010 05:10 PM PST It's happening! A musical about Susan Boyle's entire life story is in it's final stages of planning according to The Sun. And here's a shocker: SuBo has been cast to play herself! The Britain's Got Talent phenom, said: "I'm definitely going to be on stage. I'd rather that than having to sit watching people up there looking like me. I want to be doing the music parts, so I'll be coming in and out of the show. I'm looking forward to doing some live work. It'll be really nice to see so many of the people who have supported me in person." We can't blame her. Those are some tough shoes to fill. Highlights of the musical will include performing for the Pope, the success of I Dreamed A Dream and The Gift and of course that audition that made her famous. Anderson Cooper Joins Fox Posted: 29 Nov 2010 05:00 PM PST A few months back we mentioned that Anderson Cooper would be launching a day time talk show set to premiere next fall. Well the show finally has a home and it's going to be on Fox of all places. Three Fox-owned stations in the top markets have already cleared the show, which was unexpected as Fox News rivals Cooper's CNN show. Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution president Ken Werner stated: "Although the marketplace for fall 2011 has been filled by many returning franchises and the expansion of news programs, there is still a big opportunity across stations. We are delighted that these major market stations have embraced the opportunity to bring one of America's finest storytellers to daytime and early fringe viewers." The show is already being described as one which will "bring to viewers the biggest celebrity and newsmaker interviews, fascinating human interest stories and in-depth coverage of pop culture, social issues, trends and major events." David Lynch Releases Two Songs On iTunes! Posted: 29 Nov 2010 04:50 PM PST We had no idea he had such varied interests! Director David Lynch has turned his attention to music. He is signed to England's Sunday Best label and plans to release a full album. For now, he has two songs available on iTunes. Lynch said: "We're working on a lot of things, and we hope to have an album soon. All of this to me is an experiment. We were calling it kind of a modern blues — music based on the blues. It's led to all sorts of different things, but I really want to do a modern blues album. There's nothing I can say in terms of what the rules are, but there is a feel. It has to be anchored in something strong and pure, and it's modern in that it's joining with all the things you can do these days in ProTools. The advancement in digital things means there's a whole slew of possibilities. I love organic phenomena. I love the real, rough sound of blues. I love a heavy guitar and great, strong drums. Duke University F**k List Goes SVU! Posted: 29 Nov 2010 04:40 PM PST We actually like the sound of this! Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is no stranger to ripping episode plots straight from the newspaper headlines, and this week, they're allegedly doing just that - by incorporating the now-notorious Duke University "Fuck List" as inspiration - but with a murderous twist! In this week's episode, a woman named Caitlin Lamarck works at an advertising agency, and makes the PowerPoint 'Lay List' about the co-workers she gets around to boning. However, when it goes viral, one of the men she included isn't apparently none-too-pleased, and she winds up dead! DUN DUN! So much fun! We wonder how original writer Karen Owen feels about having her story adapted onto a police procedural! We're so jealous! LOLz! What do U think?? Is the Duke 'Fuck List' going to make for some great SVU??

Sources close to the unwed mamma-turned-reality starlet have revealed that she plans to expand the Palin brand name even further - by being the spokesperson for a middle American fashion brand, with possible book and reality show deals! An insider explains: "Bristol made over $345,000 from being on the show and currently is getting $35,000 for each speaking gig she does Yet, all that is going to feel like pocket change if one or two of the big deals she's currently working on actually happens. None of this should come as a surprise. This year's 'Dancing' was up over 23 percent thanks to Bristol. Love her or hate her, you just can't turn away. This is what makes her so valuable. And it looks like she will continue to live and work under them into 2011. According to sources, Britney is "content" under both conservatorships, and in fact, her business affairs are in better shape than ever. Willie Nelson Might Be In Big Trouble! Posted: 29 Nov 2010 04:10 PM PST Oh, geesh! He's really gone and gotten himself in trouble this time! Willie Nelson was once again arrested on Friday for being in possession of six ounces of marijuana in Sierra Blanca, Texas, and according to prosecutors, he could face up to two years behind bars! Former prosecutor Robin Sax explains: "If the Texas prosecutors do not reduce the charges, and the marijuana's weight is indeed six ounces, then he is dealing with felony and a potential minimum of 180 days in a county jail and a maximum of two years, with a $10,000 fine. Texas is more stringent than California so he could face time. One of the issues that the court and prosecutors will look at is his prior record and given the fact that he has several arrests, even recent ones, for pot related crimes. I would not be surprised if Texas decided to stick it to him." Holy shiz! This is certainly not good! Such a shame, everyone and their mother knows that he's a harmless old stoner, but we can't understand why he would be so foolish to carry that much around with him - ESPECIALLY given his history with the fuzz! Not smart, bb! We sincerely hope that you learn from your mistake this time, without having to do jail time! Thoughts??
