Actor Leslie Nielsen Has Passed Away Posted: 28 Nov 2010 06:12 PM PST So sad! Screen legend Leslie Nielsen passed away at a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida hospital on Sunday. His nephew, Doug Nielsen, says that Leslie died of complications from pneumonia. "Today at 5:30 with his friends and his wife by his side, he just fell asleep and passed away," says his nephew. The Canadian thespian was 84 years old. Acting for over 50 years, he will forever be remembered (by us) for his loveably goofy roles in Airplane and The Naked Gun films. R.I.P. [Image via WENN.]

Brangelina And The Kids Go Holiday Shopping! Posted: 28 Nov 2010 03:40 PM PST 'Tis the season! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took their daughters, Zahara and Shiloh, holiday shopping in Paris over the weekend! Oh la la, how fancy!! Brad and Ange put down some major dough, buying pants, pajamas, gloves, sweaters, boots, stuffed animals, knights' costumes (for Shiloh!), and one large green plastic alligator at the Bonpoint boutique on rue de Tournon near the Luxembourg Gardens. A LARGE GREEN PLASTIC ALLIGATOR?? LOLs!! Best Xmas gift ever. According to a store clerk, Shiloh declared that it was "good for Knox." The staff said that "Angelina was great. She's patient, and a very hands-on mother, making certain everything fits." As for Brad, the eyewitness said he was "very agreeable, absolutely polite and excellent with the girls." A clerk also said that "[Shiloh] wanted pants and picked out a pair of zebra-patterned boots," while Zahara chose "black suede boots and a 'Duchess' dress." As for the knight costume, complete with sword and accessories, Shiloh insisted, "One is for me. The other is for my brother, Pax." SO cute!!! We love how close those children are. Brad and Angie are obviously wonderful parents who are raising such as sweet and polite children. Although, we do wonder what they bought for Vivienne and Maddox?? [Image via WENN.]

Celebs To Sign Off Twitter And Facebook For Charity Posted: 28 Nov 2010 02:40 PM PST Several celebrities are planning to sign off social networks, such as Twitter and Facebook, this Tuesday all in the name of charity. Alicia Keys' charity Keep A Child Alive is staging a campaign that will have celebs such as Lady GaGa, Justin Timberlake, and Usher signing off of their social network accounts until they raise $1 million for World AIDS Day. Some celebrities will even film "last tweet and testament" videos which will show them lying coffins to represent their "digital death." In an interview, Keys described the "Digital Life Sacrifice" concept behind the campaign: "It's really important and super-cool to use mediums that we naturally are on. It's so important to shock you to the point of waking up. It's not that people don't care or it's not that people don't want to do something, it's that they never thought of it quite like that. This is such a direct and instantly emotional way and a little sarcastic, you know, of a way to get people to pay attention." President and co-founder of Keep A Child Alive, Leigh Blake says: "We're trying to sort of make the remark: Why do we care so much about the death of one celebrity as opposed to millions and millions of people dying in the place that we're all from? It's about love and respect and human dignity." She also added that she thinks "GaGa is going to raise it all by herself." "She's got a very, very mobilized fan base and that's beautiful to watch I think (and) she's able to draw their attention to these issues that are very important, you know, and that people follow it and act." We completely agree with her! This is a fantastic campaign and with just GaGa's loyal little monsters, we're sure the charity will be able to reach their goal!! Lily Allen Fires Attack Against Journalist!! Posted: 28 Nov 2010 02:20 PM PST Wowsa!! Lily Allen has launched an attack against a journalist who claimed that the singer was planning a New Year's wedding to overcome the recent loss of her baby. The article, which can be seen here, alleges that "[Lily and Sam Cooper] want to be together after what they've gone through and see becoming man and wife as the light at the end of the tunnel." But Lily is firing back, calling bullshiz on the author. The singer took to her Twitter with an angry rant, saying: Katie Nicholl I THINK you're a cunt, leave me out of your shitty column, you know nothing about the intimate details of my life. Theres a time and a place for your musings where I'm concerned, and it's not now. According to Lily's Twitter, "Kati[e] Nichol[l] has been in touch and has threatened to consult her lawyer," which prompted the singer to "amend" her tweet. Dayum, gurl!! Nicole's Family Day Out! Posted: 28 Nov 2010 02:00 PM PST Coolest parents ever!! Nicole Richie and Joel Madden took their precious bbs Harlow and Sparrow to the Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! There's A Party In My City show in Los Angeles on Saturday. Musician/magician DJ Lance Rock welcomed Nicole and Joel on stage as super-secret guests and the two danced around, entertaining the kids. But Nicole and Joel weren't the only celeb parents in attendance! Gwen Stefani took her sons Kingston and Zuma to the show, as well as Jessica Alba and her daughter, Honor. So precious! James Franco Causes Frenzy At Inside The Actors Studio Posted: 28 Nov 2010 01:20 PM PST This is a first! Tickets to the taping of Inside the Actors Studio with James Franco was in such high demand, show producers had to reject 250 "industry professionals" who were trying to get free tickets to the show. Tickets to the show had sold out almost immediately. Sources at the show said this was a first in the history of Inside the Actors Studio. And luckily for fans, James did NOT disappoint. After taping, he "stayed another hour-and-a-half after the taping and talked to every single student and fan who wanted to talk." According to the source, "No one has done that since Paul Newman…the very first guest that ever appeared on the show." Wow, whatta guy!!! And what's even more awesome is that so many girls were screaming for the handsome actor, host James Lipton had to stop the interview to tell the crowd, "17 years filming this show and I've never heard a sound like that before."
