Posted: 17 Sep 2010 06:26 PM PDT After her fiancee was detained by authorities at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday for getting into a physical altercation with the paparazzi, Katy Perry took to her Twitter to explain what happened with Russell Brand. She Tweeted: "If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me. #standbyyourman #don'tfuckwiththeBrands." The very latest is that the recovering addict not only failed one drug test recently - she failed TWO! The first came back positive for cocaine. The second, we're not sure yet. The judge in her case had warned her that if she failed a random sobriety test she was faced with 30 days in jail. Now that she's failed two, does she get 60????

Kardashians Receive Backlash For Being Honored With Key To Beverly Hills! Posted: 17 Sep 2010 06:00 PM PDT We knew that there would be some justifiable backlash! Not everyone is thrilled that the Kardashian family received a commemorative key from to the city of Beverly Hills from Mayor Jimmy Delshad on 9-02-10 day, including members of the City Council and former Beverly Hills mayors! Councilman John Mirisch claims that Delshad did not consult with everyone before making his decision to award the honor to the reality TV family, and calls it an "abuse of the city's highest honor." He continues: "The awarding of anything that looks like a key gives the false impression that this is the real key to the city." His sentiments were matched by former mayor Linda Briskman, who wrote: "I was truly ashamed to hear that you all were even considering giving the key to our city to the Kardashian family on 9-02-10 Day. With all the great families in the city, they could hardly be first on the list." Ha! We can understand why some would be pretty peeved! But that's La La Land for you! What do U think?? Christina Hendricks To Bring Amazingness To Animated Superman Movie Posted: 17 Sep 2010 05:10 PM PDT Is it just us, or is Christina Hendricks the PERFECT choice for Lois Lane? DC is releasing an animated direct-to-dvd Superman movie, All-Star Superman, which will feature the voice talent of Mad Men's Christina Hendricks as Lois Lane. The other inneresting aspect of this movie is that it's more of a fun, upbeat superhero flick, as opposed to the dark, grim superhero movies that have been released lately, such as The Dark Knight. Doesn't look like this is going to start a new trend, but it's a nice change of pace…especially for a movie geared towards kids. Dark or light, we're loving the choice of voice talent for Lois Lane! We'd love to see her brought back for the next live-action Superman movie as well! What do U think of Christina Hendricks as Lois Lane? [Image via WENN.]

While Michael Moore has defended Canada in the past, he is not so pleased with them at the moment due to their treatment of U.S. soldiers fleeing to Canada to escape fighting in the war. "It is absolutely shameful how Canada has behaved toward those who have resisted this [Iraq] war. It's not the Canada we used to know." Moore chastised Canada for not opening up their borders to escaping soldiers like they did during the Vietnam War. "This country was so generous to those of my generation who did not want to kill the Vietnamese, and they opened the border." What do U think about Canada not helping soldiers escaping the war? Apparently Miz Cyrus totaled a 1991 Toyota Camry while driving in her mom's Mercedes SUV and then fled the scene! The wrecked car's owner is a Los Angeles restaurant parking attendant who says the Disney star is responsible for it all and he's even hired an attorney. According to the guy's lawyer, Cyrus did give the guy her phone number but then quickly sped off. Though if she did leave her digits, then it's really not a hit and run. More like a hit, call me for the money to repair your car, and then run. No word yet on whether or not they tried contacting Miley to take care of the damages, but judging by the fact that there's an attorney involved now we have a feeling they're going to be looking for big money.
