More Twilight Coming After Breaking Dawn?!?!?!? Posted: 07 Sep 2010 05:50 PM PDT A little while back, we announced the mortifying news that the release date was set for the final Twilight movie ever! Now, there MAY be a bit of sparkling light at the end of that bleak, bleak tunnel. Rumors have surfaced about Summit Entertainment looking to adapt Stephanie Meyer's Twilight novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner into a feature film after Breaking Dawn. Here's what an insider has said about the project: "It goes without saying Summit want to continue this franchise… Tanner is the one they're looking at post-Breaking Dawn… It's too early to talk casting, and everything we're hearing is just speculation or off a wish list, but I don't believe they plan on using the original actress, Jodelle Ferland, for the spin-off film. It's all about numbers and names — you guys know that." All still just a rumor at this point, but we'd be shocked if Summit WASN'T planning to continue the Twilight franchise in as many ways as possible. Aside from Bree Tanner, we're sure there will be plenty more Twilight to be seen after Breaking Dawn, including director's cuts, theatrical re-releases, TV spin-offs, toys, games, and perhaps even an amusement park. James Cameron To Make 3D Movie About Brazilian Tribes Posted: 07 Sep 2010 05:40 PM PDT James Cameron is the king of 3D. This year he will be traveling to the rain forests of Brazil to shoot a 3D documentary about indigenous people of the Amazon trying to stop the construction of a large dam that will make their land a potential flood zone. "I want to return to meet some of the leaders of the Xikrin-Kayapo tribe who invited me," said Cameron. "I want to take a 3D camera to film how they live, their culture." We made a few phone calls, and we learned that a permanently dropped jaw isn't generally fatal, so DON'T PANIC. Yes, Betty White is getting her own comic book, and yes, words such as amazing, incredible, phenomenal, glorious, and amazincrephenorious should come to mind! Female Force: Betty White will be released in November. We cannot emphasize enough how pumped we are!!!! Do U think Betty White deserves the comic book treatment?

John Lennon's Killer Denied Parole Again! Posted: 07 Sep 2010 05:20 PM PDT Good! A parole board has decided not to release John Lennon's killer, Mark David Chapman, after his interview that took place today via teleconference at Attica Correctional Facility in upstate New York. It was Chapman's sixth appearance before the board since becoming eligible for parole back in 2000. He will be eligible once again in 2012. The board wrote to Chapman that they remain concerned about "the disregard you displayed for the norms of our society and the sanctity of human life when, after careful planning, you travelled to New York for the sole purpose of killing John Lennon" and that "release remains inappropriate at this time and incompatible with the welfare of the community." It would have the best of horror movie actors in one film. He said: "Yeah, The Expendables, or more like the It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World of horror. I want to get so many horror movie stars that people can't possibly not see the movie. I want to give them other stuff to do. I want to have Kane Hodder be very particular about what he eats. I want Robert Englund to be a tough guy, like he knows tae kwon do or something. I want to find out the hidden sides of all these people. Some will play themselves, some will play alternate characters as well. I may approach Kane Hodder to play Frankenstein. He could be Kane Hodder himself fighting himself as Frankenstein. It could be crazy. It's a silly concocted story that we hope to do maybe in a year or so. My breaks between Burn Notice have been getting tighter because they've been adding episodes. They're trying to trap me like a rat in the TV world, and I might just let them. There's a script, it just kind of blows right now, so no one's really seeing it. We gotta work on it. Definitely shoot in Oregon all on a stage. It's like the 300 of horror comedies. We want to make it a whole world. Someone's gotta take Frank down for good." LOLz. Let's just home he gets the time to finish that shiteously amazing script!

It's On! Judge Lets Nicollette Sheridan Sue Desperate Housewives' Creator For $20 Million!!! Posted: 07 Sep 2010 04:30 PM PDT Hooray! Nicollette Sheridan is taking her Desperate Housewives apple and chucking right through Marc Cherry's window today! Judge Elizabeth Allen White has granted the former Desperate cast member permission to sue the Men's Warehouse pants right off her old boss for alleged assault and battery, gender violence, wrongful termination and discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation and age! She's after $20 million! Marc's lawyers tried to sway the judge by asking Nicollette's lawyers to clarify the discrimination portion of her complaint, but she wasn't having it. (Obviously, she agreed that the show tanked for a good season and half once her character met her demise!) Get ready to see an EPIC Hollywood showdown with this one. ABC will come in with guns a'blazin', while Nicollette will wear a tasteful yet uber stylish court attire. Maybe we'll even get to hear a testimony or two from some of her former costars.
