One of the Octo-Mom's bbs landed in the hospital Friday night!! 2-year-old Caleb downed a "salt-based solution" which caused the lil' Suleman to vomit! Nadya speed dialed 911 and the tiny tot was rushed to St. Jude Hospital, where he stayed for a few hours before returning home. Yikes! At least it wasn't more serious! [Image via WENN.] |

Hell hath no fury like a reality mom scorned! Kate Gosselin has surely not turned a blind eye to all the little nuggets of info coming in about her soon-to-be ex husband and his hard-pAArtying, fame-whoring new girlfriend. She also has a very good understanding of the phrase, "Revenge is the best medicine." So, in an effort to piss Jon Gosselin off, Kate has rehired bodyguard Steve Neild, a man rumored to be having an affair with Kate, but known to be disliked by Jon. He may have returned to frown-town on Friday, but we think we're going to see the end of sad Rob Pattinson very soon. His film Remember Me, should be wrapping soon and next week he is expected to return to the sunny side of the country for the New Moon panel at Comic-Con. By then, we expect to see a chipper R-Patz. Jorja Fox will be returning to CSI in its upcoming season. It's been a rocky relationship for Fox and CSI, with the actress leaving and returning once before over salary and contract disputes. Her return will only be temporary, as she's just signed on to star in a handful of episodes for the season. Thus far. We'd advise her not to look a gift horse in the mouth this time! Marc Anthony is scheduled to make an announcement alongside the NFL's Miami Dolphins on Tuesday and we have a pretty good guess as to what they are going to say. Recently, Gloria Estefan and her husband, music producer Emilio Estefan, bought a stake in the team and we're guessing that Marc will be doing the same. However, perhaps he is planning on pledging to perform when the Dolphins reach the Superbowl. In that case, settle in fans, cuz that team hasn't seen a decent halftime show since 1973. LaToya Jackson is looking for some attention too! Tito and Jermaine and Poppa Joe can't get it all! A song she previously recorded to honor her entire family, Home, will now be available on July 28th as a tribute single to her dear departed brother Michael. Recycling is so in! LaToya will not be doing any marketing or promotion for the record and all the proceeds from the song will be donated to AIDS Project LA, a charity that was supported by Michael Jackson. | Orphan Scares Adoption Groups!!! Posted: 18 Jul 2009 08:15 AM PDT
The adoption community has banded together to protest Orphan, a horror movie opening next Friday, in fear that it will fuel negative attitudes toward real-life orphans. "We are concerned that in addition to its intended entertainment value, this film will have the unintended effect of skewing public opinion against children awaiting families both in the United States and abroad," says a letter from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute to Warner Bros. Some adoption advocates are calling for a boycott of the film, which follows a childless couple who adopt an evil child. Seriously?! Warner Bros. says that it is considering adding a pro-adoption message at the end of the film when it comes out on DVD. Jeff Medefind of the Christian Alliance for Orphans believes that because the film "seems to suggest that orphans are damaged goods, and that adoption could destroy a life," he is urging the studio to add a favorable adoption message at the end of theater-screened films and donate a portion of box office receipts to aid orphans. We get their worries, but it's A MOVIE. It's not real-life. P.S. Stop drawing attention to it if you don't want anyone to see it!!! Duh. You're only helping them! P.P.S We LOVE scary movies! |
