Leo Wishes He Had Jesse's Girl - And Then He Does!

When you're Leonardo DiCaprio, you pretty much have your pick of the ladies (or fellas) everywhere you go!

Last night, his lady of choice was the ex-girlfriend of Jesse Metcalfe, model Emma Miller. The two shared a romantic dinner in South Kensington, England, before hitting up the bar Collection.

A witness recalls:

"The pair arrived separately and Leonardo was very keen not to be photographed. They left 10 minutes apart, and Leo then made his way to Maddox nightclub in Mayfair. His car stopped, and just when it looked like he was going to get out, it sped off again. He must have had a last-minute change of heart."

Aw! He must like her enough to not drunkenly hook-up with some other skanky Brit!

Surprisingly enough, he asked permission first!!!!

Pete Doherty was granted the court's permission to break mandatory curfew Thursday night in order to celebrate his sister's graduation.

The singer, who is facing DUI charges and continual drug offenses, has to be indoors at 7pm each night until a hearing in August.

Doperty is already allowed to break curfew for performance purposes.

We sure hope he has supervision!!!!

P.S. They need to stop treating him with kid gloves! He's a right mess!

Bar Commission Apologizes For Texas Raid!

It's about time!!!

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has apologized for the reckless raid of the gay bar, Rainbow Lounge, last month as the agents involved committed "clear violations" of the organization's policies.

To say the least!

The raid resulted in serious injuries, including one patron being hospitalized with head trauma.

According to the Dallas Voice, TABC administrator Alan Steen has put the agents on desk duty pending investigation and their supervisor has retired in the wake of the controversy.

"I don't think you have to dig very deep to figure out that TABC has violated some of their policies," Steen said. "We know that, and I apologize for that. Like I said in my original press release, we have in the past and we will in the future act very swiftly in making sure that those issues are corrected. It's real clear that however it is that we were doing business that night is not the typical TABC. … I have good policy in place, I have good training in place, and I have good supervision in place to ensure that things like this don't happen."

Well, the agents asked permission from their supervisor, who granted the raid necessary.
.
"You can read that policy and you can figure out really quickly, TABC shouldn't have even been there," Steen said referring to the excessive show of force. "If our guys would have followed the damn policy, we wouldn't even have been there. … We have these conversations all the time, and we don't participate in those kinds of inspections when there's not probable cause or reasonable suspicion or some public safety matter to be inspected."

Also, the agents should not have been wearing "special events uniforms," as they typically wear plain clothes while conducting bar inspections.

We can all agree that was no bar inspection!!!!

The results of TABC's investigation of wrongdoing will be announced in the next few weeks at a Fort Worth press conference.

Steen claims that he's "very, very interested in and committed to" the idea of appointing a liaison between his agency and the LGBT community.

"I just think the people of Fort Worth deserve to know that we're very interested in this and very diligently working to get to the bottom of it," he continued.

This was a hateful act and people need to be held accountable!

Sister, Sister

Look! It's the Hilton girls! We haven't seen them out and about much together recently. It's nice to see they've made time for each other.

Paris Hilton and kid sis Nicky Hilton enjoyed a chill dinner at Katsuya in Hollywood last night. They look like they had a nice evening of sisterly bonding.

And what would a night out be if the paparazzi weren't outside to capture it!

Bad Day For Tiger Woods!

Unfortunately for Tiger Woods, he won't be heading to the British Open this weekend.

For the second time in his professional career, the hottie missed the cut.

The first time was back at the 2006 U.S. Open after the death of his father.

And according to Tiger this time around, "It was just problem after problem. I kept compounding my problems out there. I hit some bad tee shots, a couple of bad iron shots, didn't get it up and down. I kept making mistake after mistake."

Talk about having a bad day!

But when your bad day can affect your career and income source, it's time to get your shit together.

Woods continued, "Unfortunately, it just didn't happen. No doubt I'm frustrated. I was playing well the first seven holes, right there in the championship. I felt like if I was under par for the tournament, I would be in the top 10. I didn't do that. I went the other way."

Adding, "I just made mistakes. And obviously you can't make mistakes and expect to not only make the cut, but also try and win a championship. You have to play clean rounds of golf, and I didn't. I made my share of mistakes out there today and didn't play a very clean card."

There's always next time!

Unless it's time to retire!

Buy A New Car, Get A Semi-Automatic Weapon!

Shockingly - but not too surprisingly - a car dealership in a small town in Missouri is offering customers a gun shop voucher for $450: the price of an AK-47.

Mark Muller of Max's Motors explains, "We really are different than the big city dealers." He is, of course, referring to his dealership's history of offering a side of firearms with his cars. Last year they rewarded customers with vouchers for the price of a pistol, the very one that Muller keeps in his pocket. (The jokes write themselves.)

Muller added, "We get a lot of press out of these kind of promotion. We sell a lot of cars. And we have a lot of fun."

Now that sounds like the kind of man for Octo-Mom!

Tito Jackson Keeps On Talking

The Jacksons seems to be the kind of family who need to talk through they're grief. In public. Through the media!

Tito Jackson seems to be the leader of the pack, and today, he is discussing his brother Michael Jacksonexplains that Michael's dancing not only made him an icon, but also helped him escape a beating or two from his "belt-wielding" father Joe Jackson: "Most of the time Michael was so quick my father couldn't hit him. He'd swing the belt and Michael would be over there, he'd swing again and Michael would be over here. My father used to just stop and laugh because he couldn't hit him. Michael would just dance around him. My father would get tired and give up."

We hope you didn't laugh at it, Tito.

We don't think it's funny and we're sure neither did Michael.

Grey's Stars Talk T.R. Knight

At Thursday night's premiere of The Ugly Truth, several Grey's Anatomy players came out to support Katherine Heigl's new flick, including Justin Chambers and Kate Walsh.

Justin was excited about the Emmy nods for co-stars Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, but also admitted that "a piece of the puzzle is missing" without pal T.R. Knight around the set.

The gay actor left the show to pursue multiple opportunities in the theater world.

Also notably missing George O'Malley was bestie Katherine, who added how different the show will be for her now: "It's really hard actually. For me, he was such a source of friendship and support, and love and laughter. It doesn't feel the same."

We'll see how long Katherine will fair on the show without her BFF. Our guess: not long.

Yesterday afternoon the SNL cutie patootie Andy Samberg was spotted shopping at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Samberg, and his equally dorky friend, walked through the mall though didn't seem to mind the paparazzi being in their face.

Nerds can be attention whores too!

Summer Box Office Sales Might Break Records!

Posted: 17 Jul 2009 03:15 PM PDT

harry-potter1__opt1.jpg

Well, looks like the recession's got nothing on summer box office sales, because this year is shaping up to be a record breaker!

Summer 2009 has managed to churn out a string of consistent hits. According to industry reports:

– The Transformers sequel always was viewed as the season's top grosser, but almost nobody thought it would rake in as much as it has.

– Paramount's franchise reboot Star Trek wasn't seen as a $200 million-plus domestic grosser before its release, given the franchise's then-moribund state. Although it has rung up less foreign coin (about $125 million) than at home, it has overachieved compared with past Trek movies.

– Before the release of Up, one Wall Street analyst said early clips suggested Disney might have an underachiever on its hands. Turns out the release has been the second-best Pixar performer to date, behind Finding Nemo. And they say nobody knows anything in Hollywood.

– Warner Bros. greenlighted a sequel to The Hangover before the Todd Phillips-helmed comedy even hit theaters, but $200 million-plus? Now that's a guilt-free hangover.

In fact, the summer season is only in its third month (The season ends with Labor Day) and though some films have underperformed, one has yet to fall flat on its face.

Of course, there is still some time for failure!
