| Prince William Still Has Time For The Boys Posted: 20 Nov 2010 04:52 PM PST
Glad the media attention hasn't driven him into hiding! Despite announcing his engagement to Kate Middleton this week, Prince William took time out to attend a Premier League soccer game in Blackpool with some friends on Saturday. We're sure Kate doesn't mind. They have their whole lives together! [Image via Getty Images.] |
| Blake Lively Is A Shining Star Posted: 20 Nov 2010 04:51 PM PST
And that is why she's presenting one! Blake Lively unveiled the Swarovski Star that will crown the 2010 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in NYC on Thursday. They're both so sparkly. [Image via Getty Images.] |
| X Factor: Our Favorite Performance Of The Weekend Was… Posted: 20 Nov 2010 02:09 PM PST We completely disagree with Simon and Louis! Cher Lloyd's stripped-down performance on X Factor's Beatles-themed show Saturday was THE BEST of the night! We wholeheartedly agree with Dannii. Cher's best performances have been her simpler ones. Yes, she's got swagger and great stage presence. Yes, she can do the big production and even rap. But she also has a GREAT voice, and this performance really showed that off! Congratulations to Cheryl for really "getting" Cher and being such a great mentor! We were underwhelmed by Rebecca Ferguson, whom we usually love. And we just don't understand the One Direction hype. Yes, they're cute. But THAT'S IT! They're not the best vocalists. They're not that exciting. They bored us with their performance (and have yet to give ONE great performance)! |
| X Factor: And We Also Really Enjoyed… Posted: 20 Nov 2010 01:59 PM PST He doesn't excite us and he still has no chance of winning, but…. Paije Richardson sounded really great singing Let It Be on X Factor's Beatles-themed episode Saturday night. Check out his performance (above)! |
| Jennifer Garner Reads With The Kiddies! Posted: 20 Nov 2010 01:43 PM PST
And they aren't even her own! While launching a new Save the Children program at Ashton Elementary School in her native West Virginia, Jennifer Garner was reading with some very special children. So generous with her time. Love her! [Image via Getty Images.] |
| Michael Jackson Would Be Proud! Posted: 20 Nov 2010 01:20 PM PST He's not just a reality TV star and tabloid fixture in the UK. He's a performer too! And, surprisingly, he's quite good! Katie Price's ex-husband, Peter Andre, performed the MJ classic Man In The Mirror on the BBC's Chidlren In Need Telethon on Friday night and we were truly shocked at how well he did! We like it a lot! Check it out (above)! |
| Deathly Hallows Is Killing It! Posted: 20 Nov 2010 01:02 PM PST
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 made an astounding $61.2 million domestically in its opening day on Friday. And with this lead, it may beat the $102.7 million opening weekend for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2005. The film garners the fifth spot for biggest opening day, behind The Twilight Saga: New Moon with $72.7 million, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse at $68.5 million, The Dark Knight at $67.2 million and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at $62 million. The Harry Potter films have earned $5.5 billion worldwide in theatrical revenue since its debut in 2001. Very impressive! Wonder if Part 2 will beat this! |
| Inferno Moving On Without Lindsay!!! Posted: 20 Nov 2010 12:40 PM PST
We're SO happy for her! This was the last thing she needed! Although Inferno director Matthew Wilder claimed that he was waiting for Lindsay Lohan to get out of rehab to star in the Linda Lovelace biopic, he is officially moving on without her. Wilder said:
Lilo is on the right track and we would hate to see this derail her! The actress' rep added, "Lindsay is dedicated to her recovery and together they decided to move forward without her." She made the right decision. |
| Sisters Of Survivor Murder Victim Try To Protect Her A$$ets! Posted: 20 Nov 2010 12:20 PM PST
The sisters of Monica Beresford-Redman, who was allegedly murdered by her husband Bruce, a former Survivor producer, are working hard to protect Monica's assets. They believe that Bruce will use the account to pay lawyers to defend him against murder charges. Not to mention, getting himself out of jail by using it to pay a hefty bail! Monica's sisters are already claiming Bruce is extremely low on money and believe he will turn his attention to the account. Ugh. Such a terrible situation. |
| Fox Is Moving Idol To Midseason Posted: 20 Nov 2010 12:00 PM PST
Is this wise?! Although it once dominated Tuesday nights, Fox is moving American Idol to Wednesdays and Thursdays for midseason. Thursdays are the most lucrative for advertising revenue, so the network is moving Fringe to Fridays in order to make room for Idol. Mostly, Idol is being used as a lead in on to Fox's new shows. On Wednesday, Idol will begin at 8pm as the new show Human Target follows. And in April, Idol will be a lead in to Christian Slater's midseason comedy Breaking In. But at it's Wednesday time slot, Idol will be in direct competition with Paula Abdul's CBS show, Live to Dance. Dramaz! [Image via WENN.] |
