| Colin Farrell To Star In Inception Total Recall Remake…Most Likely Posted: 21 Oct 2010 04:50 PM PDT
Last we heard about the remake to Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1990 sci-fi classic Total Recall, Inception had just come out, and all we could think was…these movies are pretty similar! They may seem even MORE similar if lead role candidate Tom Hardy gets cast as our hero, Quaid, although it looks like the frontrunner right now is Colin Farrell. The movie is scheduled to start shooting in late March with Underworld's Len Wiseman directing. The plot, which is based on a Phillip K. Dick story, revolves around a man who wants to travel to Mars, and buys an implanted memory of a dream vacation to the planet, but that dream becomes…a NIGHTMARE! (cue maniacal laughter). As much as we always love the opportunity for some Tom Hardy in our lives, we think Colin Farrell could def pull this one off. Remakes are always tricky fare, but after Inception, we're still kind of innerested in exploring the concept of "Dreams Vs. Reality." What about U? Does this appeal to U? Or have U had enough with movies that explore this subject? [Image via WENN.] |
| Letterman And Leno Still Tied In The Ratings Posted: 21 Oct 2010 04:40 PM PDT
For the second week in a row the Late Show with David Letterman has tied The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in the ratings. The two shows pulled in identical ratings in the 18-34 and 25-54 age ranges, but surprisingly Leno has a larger audience overall. Leno has 3.6 million, while Letterman brought in 3.4 million. Wonder what their ratings will be when Conan starts competing next month. |
| Oksana To Face Extortion Charges? Posted: 21 Oct 2010 04:30 PM PDT
The District Attorney is gearing up for it. This afternoon, Oksana Grigorieva legal team faces off with the Sheriff's Department as Oksana is opposing giving investigators access to her personal computer for evidence. However, the Sheriff's Department filed documents shortly before the hearing was to begin, disputing that her motion is unreasonable and access to her computer is vital. The documents read:
The only criminal prosecution she is facing is the extortion charges. Hope she is prepared for that. UPDATE: The judge officially denied Oksana's motion to keep investigators away from her computer. The judge explained: "For me to begin to limit law enforcement functions in the investigation is premature at this time … therefore this motion in denied." And the plot thickens! [Image via WENN.] |
| Sarah Harding Disses Chezza's Vogue Cover! Posted: 21 Oct 2010 04:20 PM PDT
Meow! Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding recently saw her bandmate Cheryl Tweedy on the cover of Vogue, and apparently had no shame letting her claws come out! She said:
Ouch! We'd expect Sarah to be more sensitive! Especially because she most likely took these pictures sometime during her recovery from malaria! Not very tactful, bb! |

Amazing! We can't wait! We'll admit, we had our doubts about the upcoming animated Disney flick, Gnomeo & Juliet, even with Elton John backing the whole movie with his timeless music. But consider us converted because we've just learned that a brand new duet between Lady GaGa and Elton will be featured on the movie's soundtrack! Elton hinted at this new this morning while on The View, but now sources are confirming the track and even have a name for us! It's called "Hello, Hello" We want to hear it NOW! Gimmie, gimmie! Does this news of a duet set UR soul on fire? Are U totes excited? [Image via WENN.] |
