The Hoff Waves To Drivers On Freeway

Posted: 01 Oct 2010 05:00 PM PDT

This is both baffling and amazing.

David Hasselhoff gave drivers in LA a little treat on Thursday night when he stood on a freeway overpass and began frantically waving to traffic.

LOL!

And what's even more bizarre is that country singer LeAnn Rimes happened to drive past when it happened and then tweeted about it.

"Omg, David Hasselhoff is standing on a freeway overpass in LA waving to people," tweeted Rimes.

Minutes later, Hasselhoff responded via twitter:

"It was me on the overpass. I like to make people's commute a little more fun! Give my love to Eddie."

This morning he tweeted about the incident again:

"So what an exciting day! Lots of tweets, decided I was a pine tree and got spotted waving to traffic by the 101 by Lean Rimes."

Hoffyhoff…you're a crazy person!

Chuck Norris Wants YOU To Vote

Posted: 01 Oct 2010 04:50 PM PDT

Check out the video (above) which makes fun of gun owners, parodies the tea party movement, and most importantly features an intimidating Chuck Norris, who wants viewers to vote.

Of course, we know that everyone will vote for EVERYTHING after watching, because when Chuck Norris tells you to vote, you IMMEDIATELY stop what you're doing and find things to vote for.

But what's the REAL reason why Chuck Norris wants everyone to vote?

Chuck Norris wants everyone to vote, because Chuck Norris can't vote.

If Chuck Norris even thinks about voting for something, then whoever or whatever he plans to vote for instantaneously wins…and Chuck Norris is a fan of the voting system, so he voluntarily abstains from voting in the name of democracy.

Aside from Chuck Norris, it's inneresting to see a video sponsored by the NRA, in which they make fun of themselves.

Obviously we're NOT the NRA's #1 fan, but voting IS essential. No arguing with that.

What do U think about this strange ad?

Steven Tyler Goes Solo

Check out the new American Idol judge's song, Love Lies (above)!

Sounds like a leftover song from the '90s that could have been a b-side to Don't Wanna Miss A Thing.

Not bad, though.

What do U think???

America's Got Talent Winner Gets Record Deal

Posted: 01 Oct 2010 04:30 PM PDT

It's only been a couple weeks since America's Got Talent crowned their most recent winner, but singer Michael Grimm has already signed a record deal with Epic Records.

The "boy from Mississippi" received a record number of votes for his rendition of When a Man Loves a Woman on the show's finale.

Grimm said that he's been waiting to "cut the album [he's] been wanting to cut," adding, "I know the genre, I know the route I want to go on this album, what it looks like, and smells like, and sounds like.

His solo album will be released in March 2011.

Will U run out and buy it??

Nicki Minaj Speaks Out Against Recent String Of Gay Suicides!

Beautifully spoken!

Nicki Minaj is the latest to speak out (above) about the recent string of gay teens committing suicide all over this country, and we think her words of encouragement are an inspiration!

Thank you for your compassion, bb! We're sure you've brought quite a bit of comfort to those struggling to feel accepted and alone out there!

BE BRAVE! It WILL get better!

Teresa Giudice's Auction CANCELED!

Lucky break!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice will not have to sob all over bubbies as she watches her excessively gaudy elegant belogings sold in front her, because her lawyer Jim Kridel has announced that the scheduled auction of her personal effects will not be taking place!

Instead, there will be a private sale, which will apparently be held to maximize the amount of money the reality star and her family make for their shiz!

Kridel explains:

"When the sale is conducted, the Giudices would get $52,000, because they are allowed that as exemptions. There would have been a shortfall. What if they got $30,000, but they owed $52,000 to the Giudices? It wouldn't help, so we said why not have a private sale? It would be best for the state, the creditors, the trustees and the Giudices."

So does that mean that the nefarious wannabe housewife Kim G. can still swoop in like the old, cackling bat she is and buy their belongings?

LOLs!

Keep your chin up, Teresa!

You may still be losing all your shiz, but at least you're not Prostitution Whore!

And we think everyone should always count their blessings for that reason alone!

Paul McCartney Sends George Michael A Letter In Prison!

What a nice gesture!

Sir Paul McCartney was apparently so concerned about his friend George Michael's recent incarceration that he sent the troubled singer a letter in prison!

A source says:

"He (Michael) got the letter on Monday and was really chuffed. Sir Paul said he would see him soon and told George to keep his chin up. The letter was two pages long and George read it over and over again."

So thoughtful! We're sure the kind words will help George get through the worst of his time behind bars!

Thoughts??

Schwarzenegger Decriminalizes California Marijuana (Mostly)

Posted: 01 Oct 2010 03:40 PM PDT

arnie101e.jpg

Today, California Gov. Schwarzenegger signed a bill that will make possession of an ounce or less of marijuana a civil infraction, as opposed to a misdemeanor.

Here are the key points of this bill:

-Don't carry more than an ounce!

-Law goes into effect Jan 1st 2010. Possession is still a misdemeanor until then

-If caught after Jan 1st, you'll still get $100 fine, but a court appearance won't be necessary, and it won't go on your record

-Smoking in public or around a minor will still be a misdemeanor

Looks like we're one step closer to legalization.

Those of you who are excited about this news: Celebrate with caution.

The new law doesn't go into effect until January 1st!

What do U think of this new bill?

Michael Weatherly of NCIS fame was driving into Hollywood this afternoon when he collided with two other vehicles. All the cars suffered signigant damage, with Michael's Mercedes front end damaged and silver BMW front end smashed in.

Ouchies!

Police have yet to learn who or why the accident was cause. Hopefully, no one was texting while driving!

CNN Fires Rick Sanchez!

Posted: 01 Oct 2010 03:20 PM PDT

jonstewart101e.jpg

We're sorry you lost your 8 p.m. timeslot on CNN to the new Parker Spitzer talk show, Rick, but you really should have practiced some better self control, or ANY at all!

Rick Sanchez flipped out during an interview on Pete Dominick's Sirius XM show, and he lashed out against CNN, as well as Jon Stewart, who regularly makes fun of him.

By the end of the interview, Sanchez had called Stewart a bigot, basically said that CNN is controlled by Jews, and said that CNN passed him over for a promotion because he's Latino.

Wow. That's just a lot of really big issues to address all at once.

Here are some of the ill-advised statements that he made during this interview…

First, against CNN:

"It's not just the right that does this. 'Cause I've known a lot of elite, Northeast establishment liberals that may not use this as a business model, but deep down, when they look at a guy like me, they look at a … they see a guy automatically who belongs in the second tier and not the top tier … White folks usually don't see it, but we do, those of us who are minorities … Here, I'll give you my example, it's this, 'You know what, I don't want you anchoring anymore. I really don't see you as an anchor, I see you more as a reporter. I see you more as a Jon Quinones.' You know, the guy on ABC. That's what he told me, he told me he saw me as Jon Quinones. Now, did he not realize that he was telling me, 'when I see you I think of Hispanic reporters?' 'Cause in his mind, I can't be an anchor, an anchor's what you give the high profile white guys."

On Jon Stewart:

"It happens all the time. I think to a certain extent, Jon Stewart and Colbert are the same way. I think Jon Stewart's a bigot … Yeah, I think he's a bigot … I think he looks at the world through his mom who was a schoolteacher and his dad who was a physicist, or something like that.

On Jewish people being a minority:

"Yeah, very powerless people. [laughs] He's such a minority. I mean, you know, please. What are you kidding? I'm telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart. And to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority?"

You dug quite the hole for yourself there, Rick. Good luck getting out of that one!

What do U think about these intense claims by Rick Sanchez?

Update: Sanchez has just been fired!
