All poor Kristen Bell wants to do with her career is relive her glory days as Veronica Mars on the big screen. She's been jonesing for a chance to get her TV show adapted to a movie like forever, but the studio seems to have no interest in making it. While on the red carpet for her flick You Again last night, she told sources that if the studio didn't want to, she would be willing to finacne the movie herself! But even her Gossip Girl funds are no match for the iron clutches of WB. They will not be beaten and they won't give her the rights. She explains: "At this point, Warner Bros. can make it but like any studio they have research that tells them whether or not they'll make their money back. And that's what we've been told: That it's just not there. So my duty, because I wanted this movie made from the minute our show got canceled, is to a) do it before I'm 40; and b) to prove to Warner Bros. that there is an audience. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that ScarJo's character in Iron Man 2, Black Widow, may be getting her own spin-off film ON TOP of her upcoming appearance in Super Friends The Avengers! He explains: "We've already started discussions with Scarlett [Johansson] about the idea of a solo movie and have begun putting together concepts, but The Avengers comes first." Paul McCartney Wants To Share With You! Posted: 23 Sep 2010 04:00 PM PDT Paul McCartney would like to share with the world, and he's going to do it by posting his extensive collection of artwork, videos, and master recordings online. Sure, if we could choose, we'd probably prefer to share a good conversation with him over coffee, but this works too! This project will give us all access to some items that have never been released before, such as never-before-seen Live Aid footage of McCartney. Hewlett-Packard (HP) is taking on this project, and they're treating it with care. They've got a team of between 30 and 100 people devoted to it. The star of the upcoming films Let Me In and Hugo Cabret will star in Universal Pictures' film adaptation of Dark Horse Comics' Emily The Strange. The creator of the Emily franchise, Rob Reger, will serve as an Executive Producer on the project. Here's what Reger had to say about Moretz as a choice for the title role: "When I first met Chloe I knew I found my Emily. She really identifies and understands the character, and has what it takes to bring her to life." Ms. Moretz is on quite the roll lately! She's really talented…we hope she doesn't follow the path of Lindsay Lohan so many child stars who have come before her. Have U read the Emily the Strange comics? The former girlfriend of Indiana teen, Andrew Conley, who strangled his younger brother said that he had talked about wanting to be just like TV serial killer Dexter before he committed the act. Prison surveillance cameras also caught Conley discussing a new episode of the show. On Tuesday, Conley read a prepared statement saying that he was sorry for killing his brother, and that he didn't know why he did it. This is tragic.
