She says: 'It's true [that we went to school together], but I don't see [Paris] as an artist. People assume that all the girls who went to my school were like Nicky and Paris, and the truth is that I went to a very, very religious school and some girls were very artistic and some did drugs and didn't give a fuck. It was just like any other high school. Except we had nuns. [At school] I was the smart, studious theatre and music student. I didn't hang out with all the popular blonde girls. American Idol Producers Are Anti-Auto-Tune Posted: 27 Aug 2010 04:30 PM PDT Good for you, American Idol! Stand up for yourself! After all of the controversy surrounding auto-tuning of contestants' voices on The X Factor, the folks at American Idol have chosen to make sure the world knows that they are NOT cool with that: "We have never, nor would we ever, use Auto-Tuning during the `American Idol' competition." In response to allegations against them, The X Factor producers have admitted that pitch-correction methods were used during the post-production process for SOME performances, but now they've stated that they won't use electronic pitch-correction software in the future. Sureeeee….we've heard that one before! Thank you, American Idol, for holding yourselves to higher standards. Back To The Future Remake With The Biebs?? Posted: 27 Aug 2010 04:10 PM PDT We've got Bieber Fever, but…. We hope not!! First, a remake of the beloved '80s film, Back to the Future, starring Michael J. Fox, should be out of the question. Second, a remake starring Justin Bieber?? No, no, no, please say it isn't so. Did we say NO already?? Unfortunately, sources are saying that this could very much be a possibility. Justin Bieber is in fact, being considered for the remake if "he is capable of acting at that level." LOLs. Well, we have yet to see The Biebs' acting chops, however, it won't make any difference. The kid could be filmed sitting in a recliner, reading the yellow pages, and all of America's tweens will flock to the movie theater and spend their parents' hard-earned cash on anything Bieber related. And we all know Hollywood is way more concerned with $$$ than producing anything that has quality and is original. What do U think about The Biebs in the Back to the Future remake?? Jim Henson's widow Jane Henson is donating the puppet, who was originally made from an old coat thrown away by Jim's mom, and 9 others to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. Netflix Comes To IPhone And IPod Touch! Posted: 27 Aug 2010 03:40 PM PDT We REALLY hope this isn't going to start a trend of people watching movies while driving. Today, Netflix has launched free apps for the IPhone and IPod Touch, which allow members to watch instant movies directly on their portable device. While there have already been ways to watch movies on portable devices, we feel like this new app is going to seriously increase the popularity of portable movie watching. Aside from car accidents, here are some other questions/concerns we have about this: -Will people start taking way longer whenever they use the bathroom? Are bathroom breaks at work going to go from five minutes to an hour and forty-five minutes? -Are we ever going to see a person watching a portable movie in a movie theater while another movie plays on the big screen? -Is it going to become difficult to catch people on their phones because they'll always be preoccupied watching episodes of 30 Rock? Will U start watching more movies on your Iphone/Ipod Touch now that Netflix has gone portable? [Image via WENN.]
