Blasts from the past!

Both Iron Maiden and Blondie will be releasing new studio albums.

The Final Frontier
will be Iron Maiden's first album in four years and Panic of Girls will be Blondie's first after seven years!

Blondie drummer Clem Burke says:

"We tried to make the recording process as organic as possible and tried to stay away from programming as much as we could, because [The Curse of Blondie] had a lot of programming on it. So in the spirit of Woodstock, we kept going in the studio and playing.

"Everyone in the band contributed songs… We've switched out a few people in the band, so the creative dynamic has changed a little bit."

Will U be checking them out?

Looks like pretty much EVERYONE is having a ball at GaGa's Monster Ball arena tour!

In fact, people are having so much of a ball, that following Lady GaGa's European leg of the tour, which starts after Sept 19, she'll be returning to the U.S. next February for additional shows due to high demand.

Billboard estimates indicate that GaGa's tour will gross nearly $200 million worldwide by the end of her Monster Ball tour.

Here's what the Chairman of Live Nation Entertainment's global touring divison, Arthur Fogel, had to say about GaGa's success on her first arena tour:

"As an artist with that kind of talent and vision emerges, it creates a lot of excitement, and ticket sales worldwide demonstrate that people are really excited to see the show."

We're excited for you, Lady! We can barely begin to imagine how successful you'll be when you start your second major tour…that is, if the fans will ever let you end this one!

Leaked Paramount Memo Brings The LOLs!

Whoops!

Supposedly the Paramount development slate leaked and there are some inneresting projects going down to say the least.

For example there's Dunderheads, which is described as a heist movie with middle-schoolers, "Ocean's 11-year-old," a Hansel and Gretel movie and another flick called My Mother's Curse potentially starring Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand!

Other highlights include Zoolander 2 and Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick about a guy who discovers his prom date is an assassin.

Yikes!

Apparently Paramount is denying that it is not an official document and saying, "It has some correct information and some inaccurrate information."

Thoughts??

Much Better!

Hmmm! Yes!

No offense to you, Sookie Stackhouse, but when we close our eyes and think about nekkid Vampire Bill and Viking Eric , you're not invited to that party!

Check out this much improved version of the upcoming True Blood cover of Rolling Stone.

God bless the genius who invented Photoshop!

Dick Cheney's Lesbian Daughter Donate$ To Anti-Gay Candidate

WTF was she thinking?!

Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter, Mary Cheney, donated money to a Republican Senate candidate from New Hampshire who opposes gay marriage.

According to The Raw Story:

"Cheney gave $500 on April 1 to Kelly Ayotte, a Republican 2010 Senate candidate from New Hampshire, according to the election records database Newsmeat. Ayotte is seeking to fill the seat of retiring GOP Sen. Judd Gregg."

And this isn't the first time she's done this! Mary has previously supported candidates that oppose gay marriage and same sex couples adopting children.

Tisk. Tisk.
