A drunk woman in Cincinnati was caught ON TAPE desperately calling 911 four times for help. Her emergency? Not having a date. Huh. Can't imagine why that would be so difficult for her! Progress! Arrested Development Script Half Done! Posted: 03 Aug 2010 05:30 PM PDT Or so they say! At this point, we've been messed around with so much, we don't know what to believe. We're just holding onto hope against hope that this will see the light of day! All anybody really wants to see in theaters right now is Inception an Arrested Development movie and we've got some news that hopefully means the project is coming to fruition. Last night, at the Television Critics Awards, creator Mitch Hurwitz had this to say: "We're writing it; we're halfway through…The reason I've been so cagey is fans have been so [eager about it]. I really want to do it…It's not going to be a big money maker…It's going to be fun, like a family reunion. The only stumbling block could be scheduling. Everybody wants to play together." Well, the faster you move your ass with the script, the easier it will be to coordinate. Step it up, Mitch! Time is money…and the more time you spend NOT finishing this script, the less money there will be when you finally do.

Inferno Stands By Lindsay Lohan Posted: 03 Aug 2010 05:20 PM PDT Well at least she has a job when she leaves rehab! Reports were surfacing that actress Sarah Scott would be replacing Lindsay Lohan in the lead role of Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, but producer Chris Hanley says that isn't true. He revealed: "The producers and director of Inferno, the story of Linda Lovelace, have been aware of certain media articles indicating there had been some alternative actors considered for the Lovelace role other than Lindsay Lohan. "Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan called the director yesterday concerned that there was some truth to the statements. These stories are completely unfounded and untrue: the producers have been, and continue to be committed to Lindsay in this lead role and are confident that there is no actress that can achieve the dramatic level we require of this role other than Lindsay. "That is why we suggested her in initial cast meetings, sought her interest, have worked with her on the character of this role creatively for some months, and are committed to Lindsay throughout the entire filmmaking process which includes satisfying a commitment to the courts at this time." The production schedule is currently working around Lindsay's time in rehab with photography slated to start in November. Director Matthew Wilder adds: "The creative team behind Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story wishes to express our renewed support for Lindsay Lohan…We never considered recasting Inferno, and never would recast it. There is no actor more ideally suited to this role than Lindsay, and we are content to start production after she finishes what the court mandated. "We hope that those who read these words will disregard the waves of fabrication and vicious personal abuse that have marked the reporting of this story, and join us in wishing the best for this extraordinary artist." Nobody can play a porn star quite like Lindanity — and it appears her mother agrees! So professional to have mommy make the call about a job!

We're happy to report that after a tough year with her personal life, at least Sandra is making mad money. According to the Forbes pay list, Sandra is the number 1 highest paid actress in Hollywood. She earned $56 million between June 2009 and June 2010 for her starring roles in The Proposal and The Blind Side. Bullock beat out Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz for the top spot. WTG Sandra! Supposedly, Blake Lively is gunning for a role in Alfonso Cuarón's upcoming sci-fi movie Gravity, even though Scarlett Johansson already verbally agreed to star in the film. Blake is rumored to have approached Alfonso about the role, but he has his heart set on Scarlett to play an astronaut in the movie opposite Robert Downey, Jr. We think Blake should show off her skills in Green Lantern before she starts trying to steal roles from Scarlett - her time on Gossip Girl hasn't really helped prove her cause! Last week, Jordan AKA Katie Price made some pretty tasteless comments regarding how 'lucky' children of divorced parents were because of all of the extra presents they receive, and her ex-husband Peter Andre has revealed that he doesn't exactly agree with those sentiments! He said: "I have to say I really don't agree with this. I think that divorce absolutely affects kids no matter what age they are and that if it can be avoided, it should be. Obviously for some couples, divorce is the only option and there's no other way for them. But I think, ideally, kids shouldn't have to go through it and if they do, they certainly shouldn't be classed as 'lucky.' No amount of material possessions make up for the fact that you don't have both parents around you all the time." Agreed 100%, Pete! Obviously, every family is different and ultimately for some, divorce is the healthiest option for the child, but in no way should it be suggested that a child is lucky to have gone through it! Posted: 03 Aug 2010 04:30 PM PDT Discover and Barclays Bank are teaming up with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile in a "super-secret alliance," which will give their customers access to a new technology that will allow them to buy stuff off of their iPhone, BlackBerry, and other smartphones. Consumers will be able to "wave and pay," without needing to swipe their credit card. With Discover currently the fourth biggest credit card company, behind Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, the company is hoping to take "dead aim" at their competitors by offering the new technology. In fact, shares for Visa and MasterCard have already dropped since the news was leaked. According to insiders, "this is a game changer."
