Given his track record - and his present, in courtroom douchery, who knows if the judge will take him seriously? Things are not going well for LaLoca at her hearing right now, but that still didn't stop Judge Marsha Revel from shutting down Father of Year and #1 Famewhore Michael Lohan from speaking to the courts. She suggested he write a letter if he had something to say, and of course, has already had his lawyer, Lisa Bloom, draft up a letter requesting that his daughter not be placed in jail! He instead hopes that Lindsanity can be placed somewhere where her alleged prescription drug use can be monitored! The letter states:
It also says that her post-DUI, 84 minutes in jail made LA a "laughing stock of our criminal justice system," and she should be placed in a private rehabilitation facility in New York that also accommodates family therapy! Ha! Poor guys probably thought they were in the clear a long time ago! The '80s band Men At Work has been ordered to pay royalties to the Larrikin Music group for ripping off the flute solo in their The band maintains that they unconsciously stole the original tune, and will have to pay royalties on any money they made off of the track from 2002 on, which probably will add up to about $13 all together, we'd estimate! A little time for the fans and a little time for lurve! We reported earlier about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart surprising some ecstatic fans in El Lay yesterday when they showed up to say hello at a screening of Eclipse. That was fun for the Twi-Hards, but we are far more interested in what happened AFTER they left the theater. According to sources, Robsten was spotted at the SoHo House in West Hollywood, settling in for some dinner and drinks. Witnesses claim that the Twilight couple was ushered through a private underground entrance and seemed "very happy" together, smiling and enjoying the penthouse view of L.A. Oh, no! James Bond 23 has been officially canceled now that MGM is going bankrupt. The movie was to be directed by Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig was going to reprise the title role. MGM is looking for a buyer to help finance new films, but until then they will have to shelve or cancel scheduled productions. The Hobbit still appears to be underway, but James Bond 23 has been postponed indefinitely. That's a real shame — we love the blonde Bond! [Image via WENN.] |
