Posted: 16 Jun 2010 04:52 PM PDT Good news for Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola of The Jersey Shore: She no longer faces the battery charges from a showdown she had in a Miami nightclub a few weeks ago. Since Sammi has left the Sunshine State, she is no longer in their jurisdiction and they don't have the time or resources to go after her. So she is safe. Bad news for Sammi Sweetheart: She can't go back! Terry Chavez, spokeswoman for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, released a statement saying: "What happens here in Miami-Dade County is when we investigated the case and spoke to all the witnesses, we did feel there was probable cause to charge to her with misdemeanor battery. However she's out of jurisdiction. If they're out, we're not going to expend the money to go and find them. But if she ever comes back, we'll definitely revisit the matter." Yikes! What she's going through must be so difficult! The National Enquirer is reporting that Warren Beatty and Annette Bening are devastated that their 18 year old daughter, Kathlyn, is attending college as a young man, calling herself Stephen, and planning to get gender-reassignment surgery! An insider reveals: "Warren is beside himself over the situation with his daughter Kathlyn. He and Annette have tired to deal with this over the years when their daughter was younger, but she's determined to go ahead with the transgender operation, just like Chastity [Bono]. She repeatedly told her parents that 'once I turn 18,' she would take matters into her own hands." It's definitely a serious operation to consider, but it obviously sounds like she's been struggling with this for a long time! Hopefully her parents will be there for her! We certainly hope so! Maxwell Cancels Second Leg Of Tour Posted: 16 Jun 2010 04:07 PM PDT Mayjah dramaz! Despite selling out Madison Square Garden and the Staples Center, Maxwell canceled the entire second leg of his tour with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu. No details have been given for the cancelation, but rumor has it that he walked away from the tour after being confronted about his attitude by his fellow tour mates. Shore Fire Media released the following statement: "Due to scheduling conflicts with the venues, Maxwell's additional tour dates with Melanie Fiona (scheduled to begin June 28 in Greensboro, N.C.) have been postponed to 2011. Refunds have been provided to ticket buyers. New dates will be announced later this year." We wonder what the problem was!
