Ke$ha Sued By Former Managers Posted: 29 May 2010 03:27 PM PDT Ke$ha's former managers DAS Communications want a piece of that stinky pie now that she's all famous and stuff. The managers are saying that they were by her side when she was an up-and-comer in 2006, but she pushed them out when songwriter Dr. Luke came into the picture. Her lawyer, Charles Ortner, however, is calling bullshizz, saying their agreement allowed her leave if they didn't line up a deal for her - which they didn't. DAS says that Dr. Luke interfered with their arrangement and "induced, intimidated and convinced Ke$ha" to cut ties with them. They're seeking more than $14 million in damages from her and $12 million from Dr. Luke. Ortner says: "This lawsuit seeks to require her to pay him commissions on her RCA/Jive record deal that he had nothing to do with, long after she terminated him in writing." Heidi Montag is saying that she left Spencer because he was isolating her from her friends and family. Well, that's what happens when you and your husband call the cops on your own mother! She's also complaining that he's sabotaging her so-called acting career because no one wants to deal with her "loose cannon of a husband." And get this, Heidi has already lined up a new reality show that will follow her and pal Jennifer Bunney as they live the single life in a rented Malibu beach house. Bunney says, "Heidi has spent so much time with Spencer and now she wants to be able to spend more time with herself and friendships." This sounds like the most boring show ever! Bret Michaels To Replace Simon Cowell? Posted: 29 May 2010 03:03 PM PDT Bret Michaels had people talking last night as he made his return to the stage at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi, MS. An audience member said "I figured he'd be wobbly and sitting on a stool. But he was energetic, running around the stage with his guitar." They also commented that it was like watching a Poison show "years ago." And more surprisingly, right before he performed his classic tune Every Rose Has Its Thorn, he told the crowd: "I can't say this is true yet, cause I don't know. The Hobbit On Hold Indefinitely Posted: 29 May 2010 03:03 PM PDT It looks like the drama continues with the upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel, The Hobbit. Even though it was just announced that filming was going to start in November, director Guillermo Del Toro has confirmed that the project has been put on hold indefinitely because of complicated negotiations over the future of the MGM movie studio. Producer Peter Jackson has said in the past "It's not really been delayed, because we've never announced the date," however, Del Toro admits that pre-production had already started. He adds: "We have designed all the creatures. We've designed the sets and the wardrobe. We have done animatics and planned battle sequences. We are very, very prepared for when it is finally triggered. It's not greenlit. That's categorical. We've been caught in a very tangled negotiation. There cannot be any start dates until the MGM situation gets resolved. They do hold a considerable portion of the rights." That sucks! We were really looking forward to this one! Let's hope the drama doesn't continue into production!

Her brother, Shawn Price, read her statement at a press conference on Friday, saying: "We are very grateful for all the wonderful support everyone has been extending to Gary's family. Thousands of emails have poured in to the hospital. This has been so comforting to the family to know how beloved he still is. … Thank you so much for all that you guys have done and for the support and prayers that you guys have given us." Was Simon Monjack Having A Nervous Breakdown? Posted: 29 May 2010 10:26 AM PDT A friend of Brittany Murphy is claiming that Simon Monjack was suffering "a near nervous breakdown" soon after his wife's death. After Brittany's death in December, friends say that he would harass them with texts and phone calls and even invited them to a screening of her last film Abandoned, however many refused to attend. The friend adds: "Many of us found him difficult to accept, largely by they way he dominated Brittany. He was relentless. It got so bad, we refused to go. He left messages pleading with us. But we'd all feel like hypocrites if we'd gone." And to make matters worse, apparently a month before he died, they stopped receiving the calls and texts, thinking he "got the message," but the friend goes on to say, "I think he must have retreated into himself."
