Rumors were swirling about Paula Abdul hosting the remake of Star Search, but the deal did not go through. A source reveals:

"A deadline was given and no agreement was reached. And she was offered a lot of money…It looks like we hit the end of the road with Paula."

She's probably holding out for that sweet X Factor gig with Simon!

Reese Is A Pioneer Woman!

This sounds an awful lot like Sweet Home Alabama.

Reese Witherspoon is rumored to be starring in The Pioneer Women, a film being developed by Columbia Pictures.

The Pioneer Woman will be based on the popular blog by Ree Drummond about a woman who made a detour in Oklahoma on her way to Chicago from L.A. and met the man of her dreams "and transformed from spoiled city girl to domestic ranch wife."

Yawn.

We think Reese should branch out more in her film roles — aren't these romantic comedy roles getting a bit tired?

Alec Baldwin Vs. The Enquirer

Alec Baldwin was pissed when National Enquirer writer Mike Walker wrote an article about the actor yelling at Tina Fey on the set of 30 Rock so he responded in an interview with Britian's The Times calling him a "whore" and a "queen."

Mike responded in The Enquirer with, "Here's my headline: 'Alec Baldwin - Raging Closet Homophobe!' Grab your pitchforks and torches, Hollywood - the monster lurks among ye! Just for the record: I am not gay, as my wife will attest."

Not one to let things go, Alec went to the New York Post to say:

"Yes, he (Walker) is a goat-footed, wheezy, old queen, and all my male lovers agree with me."

LOLs — Alec may have a bad temper, but he does have a good sense of humor!

She's just looking implausibly youthful for her age!

Last night, rocker Joan Jett strolled the red carpet for her new biopic The Runaways, alongside the likes of Cherie Currie and ~~that swamp rat wrapped in tin foil~~ Kristen Stewart.

We don't know, but it looks like Joan's sporting a younger looking face.

She does look amazing at 51-years-old. Worth every penny!

Madison Square Garden erupted yesterday when Alicia Keys brought out a special guest to perform with her - Beyonce!

The duo performed their new single Put It In a Love Song and as you can see from the video, the girls were HAWT!

Can't wait to watch the music video next month.

Jenna Jameson Loses Three Babies?

This is so, so heartbreaking.

Jenna Jameson revealed on her Twitter and Facebook accounts that she lost THREE babies on Tuesday after she underwent surgery for a double ectopic pregnancy, which is an abnormal pregnancy that occurs outside of the uterus, as well as a pregnancy in her uterus.

Said Jenna:

Had surgery today for a double ectopic pregnancy iIlso had a pregnancy in my uterus.This is so insane.I just wanted to get this off my chest

Poor thing.

We can't even begin to understand how hard this must be for her right now.

Nothing worse then when your BF's parent's hate your guts.

But Miley Cyrus had the pleasure of meeting Liam Hemsworth's parents recently while traveling in Austrailia.

The duo took the trip visit Liam's hometown and meet his awaiting family. Liam explained that things went well and that his folks really "loved" his ~~meal-ticket~~ girl. Miley had a nice time too, but what she really loved was the paparazzi.

According to her, the photogs are a lot gentler down under! She explained:

"It was awesome, I really like Australia. You know what? The media's really cool there, too. Even though there's paparazzi, they kind of stay their distance; it was kind of like Nashville by the sea actually, the town he's from."

Betty White On Next Season of Dancing With The Stars???

Hell no! She's much too old for that! We love her to bits and we want to see her stay in one piece!

Our favorite Golden Girl, Betty White, revealed in a recent interview that the producers of Dancing with the Star have persistently asked her for quite some time to join the show.

Thankfully, she has decline the offer, recognizing that while she doesn't act like it, she's still 88-years-old. She also added that Cloris Leachman already took care of the senior portion of the show.

Phew! Hip replacement crisis avoided on that one!
