Amazing! Shakira was presented with a medal by the United Nations commemorating her charity work for children at a special ceremony in GEneva! The Colombian pop star founded the Barefoot Foundation which provides nutrition and education for as many as 6,000 children in Colombia, she's a foundign member of the ALAS Foundation which promotes public policies for children in Latin American and the Caribbean as well as being a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Shaki says:

The Pussycat Dolls as you once knew them are finished. The cats have left the building, leaving lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger and group founder Robin Antin to take the next step. And they are already well on their way! During a recent interview, Nicole revealed that along with her Dancing With The Stars gig, she will be in the recording studio working on the next Pussycat Dolls album, with all new dolls! She confirms that a "new cast of Dolls" is being considered to replace the old ones. Nicole hopes that new album can be released no later than the end of this year. So who will these Dolls be? This is possibly the most bizarre re-casting we've EVER heard of. Selena Gomez has reportedly replaced none other than Nicole Kidman in the film Monte Carlo after producers decided they wanted the story to be more youthful. OUCH! Bwah ha ha. You KNOW Nicole probably got the news and then proceeded to rip her hair out, shatter every mirror in her house, and break out her emergency case of botox hidden in Keith Urban's guitar!! Nothing calms the nerves like making yourself look You have yourself a day for beauty to The movie is based on the book Headhunters by Jules Bass, and chronicles four New Jersey women posing as heiresses in Monaco. Gomez will now star with Blair Waldorf in the revamped version, which will instead revolve around a group of high school and college girls in Paris, France. Frankly, we don't know which is harder to believe - school girls or ANYONE from Jersey being able to pass as heiresses! We think they should have just taken the best aspects of both scenarios - youth and Jersey - and picked up Snooki Snickers, Jwoww, Sammi Sweetheart as the film's leads.
