Surprising!

The official newspaper of the Vatican in Italy, L'Osservatore Romano, has listed it's official top ten albums of all time and the results were quite the opposite that you'd expect.

The Beatles' Revolver took number one and others making the list include:

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Michael Jackson - Thriller
U2 - Achtung Baby
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Donald Fagen - The Nightfly
Carlos Santana - Supernatural
Paul Simon - Graceland
David Crosby - If I Could Only Remember My Name

What? No GaGa?!

What do U think of the papal picks?

Goldie Hawn To Teach Buddhism To The Brits

It's definitely a different alternative for unemployment!

Goldie Hawn already teaches Buddhist principals to kiddies in the States through her nonprofit organization, The Hawn Foundation, but the actress is looking to expand across the Altlantic.

She's in talks to teach childrenz in the UK all about Buddhism. For Goldie, it has bypassed a religion as she aims to help little ones become socially and emotional stable in order to stop violent outbursts at school.

"We need to rethink our whole approach to classroom education, integrating neuroscience with the latest social and emotional learning techniques," said Goldie. "A peaceful, happy child is the first step towards a peaceful world."

According to Britain's education secretary, Michael Gove, "We are meeting to discuss how she might be able to help education here. We need more new schools outside local authority control to challenge the bureaucratic monopoly."

Classic Disney Goes 3-D?

Disney geeks far and wide were a little pissed off last Friday, when the much-anticipated 3-D version of the Disney animated classic, Beauty and the Beast, was suppose to be released in theaters, but never did. During last summer's Comic-Con, that was the big reveal of the presentation.

So what gives?

Well, the film is just not quite ready yet and the studio has decided to hold off on the movie until next year, when Beauty and Beast will celebrate it's 20th anniversary. No specific date has been released as of yet, and considering the excitement generated over the films re-release in 3-D, we imagine that the studio may do it with a lot of their old films.

John Lasseter, head of the Disney Animation and Pixar division agrees, saying:

"We don't have any plans yet for further 3-D-izing of our older films, but it's always a possibility. I'm excited that people are loving 3-D and it seems to be not just a fad, but something that will stay."

We think this is a pretty cool idea and we can think of some of our favorites we would love to see in 3-D.

How about U?

Lady GaGa To Headline Lollapalooza???

This would be AMAZING!

It's being reported by industry sources that Lady GaGa may be headlining Chicago's 3 day music festival Lollapalooza alongside Green Day and Sound Garden.

However, this wouldn't be her first time performing at the music fest. Gagaloo rocked the palooza before her Fame Monster days back in when she was still a brunette in 2007.

We say DO IT!

Academy Awards Wants Nominees To Prepare Two Speeches!

Posted: 16 Feb 2010 04:00 PM PST

ap01032501738aa.jpg

They keep making all these changes!

This year the Academy Awards nominees have been asked to prepare TWO speeches — one for the actual telecast up to 45 seconds long talking about what the award means to them and save their thank-yous for a backstage "Thank You Cam" that will be available online after the show for anyone to see.

WTF?

Long and rambling speeches being cued off by the music are what the Oscars are all about! Well, that and the fashion.

Who is actually going to stick to this?

We don't see it happening — it's a live show after all! Ha!
