Posted: 10 Feb 2010 05:22 PM PST The Parents Television Council wants FOX to know that if they truly intend to put Howard Stern in the empty seat left behind by Simon Cowell, they are going to have a BIG problem! In fact, in the statement they issued this morning, the PTC insisted that FOX deny the claim that Stern was even being considered or they were never going to shut up! President of the PTC, Tim Winter, wrote: "Given 'American Idol's' extreme popularity with family audiences, I hope that Fox will put the rumors to rest and announce that it has no intention of adding to the show one of the most profane, sexually-explicit and anti-family performers in the history of the broadcast medium – either as a guest or as a judge." John Mayer has finally risen from his stoney-coma and been bombarded with today's backlash of his Playboy interview! Mayer has received an outrageous amount of flack (and rightfully so!) for using the N-word in his recent interview, more specifically: Someone asked me the other day, "What does it feel like now to have a hood pass?" And by the way, it's sort of a contradiction in terms, because if you really had a hood pass, you could call it a n****r pass. Why are you pulling a punch and calling it a hood pass if you really have a hood pass? But I said, "I can't really have a hood pass. I've never walked into a restaurant, asked for a table and been told, 'We're full.'" Disgusting. So John has taken to his official Twitter to try and calm the storm: Re: using the 'N word' in an interview: I am sorry that I used the word. And it's such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself. It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it, because I realize that there's no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged. Arrogant is right! Wes Bentley from American Beauty fame disappeared from the Hollywood scene shortly after he hit it big because he found a more appealing option - DRUGS! The recreational drinking and marijuana from his youth spiraled into cocaine, Ecstasy and eventually heroin. Addiction ruled his life for years! The actor, who is currently in the middle of a divorce from actress Jennifer Quanz, whom he wed in 2001, is recovering and back to his craft. What A Moron! Posted: 10 Feb 2010 04:45 PM PST You don't get much dumber than this fool! A man in Springfield Massachusetts was arrested yesterday for shoplifting in a Bath and Body Works. The man was quickly apprehend by security when the man allegedly stuffed 75 bottles of lotion in his pants! Because that wasn't noticeable at all! The police noted in their report that the man had a hard time fleeing the scene and running from them and looked "extremely bowlegged." Ha! Idiot! There was no way he was ever going to get away with that! And who the hell steals lotion?! And that much of it?! Guess we know what he spends his time doing on a Saturday night, the wanker!
