So we guess you're over doing films? We can't even remember the last one you were in! (Maybe she can't get any film work! Yikes!) Jennifer Lopez is filling up her professional calender with yet another TV guest spot. J.Lo will guest star on a March episode of How I Met Your Mother. She'll play Anita Appleby, "a no-nonsense self-help guru teaching women how to 'train' men in relationships through the power of denial." Lets see if the writers can work in a song and dance number for her Neil Patrick Harris! [Image via WENN.] |

Not even Mr. Wolf can get out of this one! Actor Harvey Keitel and his wife Daphna Kastner are being sued after failing to pay for planned renovations to their Tribeca home. The couple owes $43,850 to Manhattan architect Robert Kahn who prepared designs, hired consultants and made cost estimates for the construction on their home. Maybe they weren't pleased with the designs because they must have the cash? Right? [Image via Patricia Schlein / WENN.] |
| Black Eyed Peas Sued AGAIN For Plagiarism Posted: 27 Jan 2010 04:45 PM PST
This shiz has got to stop — or are they just going to pay off everyone for using their ideas? The Black Eyed Peas are being sued for plagiarism again! A copyright infrigement lawsuit has been filed by Ebony Latrice Batts aka Phoenix Phenom and Manfred Mohr against each of the Peas individually and collectively. Phoenix and Manfred claim that their song "Boom Dynamite" is incredibly similar to BEP's "Boom Boom Pow." Their attorney states:
Phoenix and Manfred are seeking unspecified damages, disgorgement of profits and punitive damages. The songs sound A LOT alike and the Peas are probably going to have to pay up big time! Listen for yourself above! What do U think? |

We may need to have a talk with former *NSYNC-er Lance Bass. Resembling a 15-year old mall goth in the middle of an adolescent emotional breakdown???? Oh booooy. Could someone please pass Lance a big jar of cold cream ASAP? There's a cutie hiding under there somewhere! [Images by Mike Ruiz.] |
| Brittany Murphy's Husband To Sue Warner Brothers For Wrongful Death!! Posted: 27 Jan 2010 04:07 PM PST
Crazy. So, so sad, and crazy. Simon Monjack, husband of Brittany Murphy, is planning on suing Warner Brothers for wrongful death of the 32 year old actress. According to Monjack and Brittany's mother, Sharon, Brittany's unexpected heart attack in December was caused by the stress of Warner Brothers having cancelled her contract. Murphy had begun production on a sequel to Happy Feet when she was let go. In a recent interview, Monjack goes into the details surrounding what happened the morning of Brittany's death and disputes what he claims are rumors and falsities about his character. On Monjack showing up drunk on set and getting Murphy fired from The Caller:
The morning she passed away:
On not wanting an autopsy:
On claims that he used her for her money:
On claims that he ruined her career:
That Murphy was abusing substances:
Murphy's mother goes on to say,
Wow. This is a rare occasion where we don't know what to think. Regardless, the details surrounding Murphy's death are becoming more and more tragic, and we don't think filing a lawsuit against a studio as MASSIVE as Warner Brothers is going to help anyone come to terms with this unbelievable loss. What do U think? Is Simon shady or do U believe his side of the story? [Image via WENN.] |

But she cops out from admitting her client hates her own acting! A rumor came floating out of Utah this weekend that Jessica Alba walked out of a screening of her own film with a group of other audience members because the film was so shockingly violent. Her rep has come forward to confirm that Jessica did leave the theater prior to the end of the film, but only because she had already seen it. The rep said in a statement this morning:
Ok, we'll buy it. Mostly because we're certain this was just a PR ploy to get the movie some buzz. [Image via WENN.] |

Uh, huh! So that's what they're calling rehab nowadays! Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller is staying at the Two Dreams Outer Banks center which is described on the Web as "a comprehensive wellness program providing exemplary care for individuals who dream of recovery from addictive disorders or co-dependent behaviors." Her mother Moira Fiore says:
AKA Rehab! If it walks like a duck and does drugs like a duck… [Image via WENN.] |
