And all the tweens' heads must have exploded! Selena Gomez hit up Disneyland with some friends on Sunday and we can't believe The Wizards of Waverly Place star thought she could go unnoticed! The actress signed autographs and took pictures with a few admiring fans, but seemed annoyed as she covered her face on rides to escape the photogs. Enjoy yourself AND remember why you got in free, bb! [Image via National Photo Group.] |

Courtney Love is being sued by fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir, whom Courtney found on Etsy.com, for making malicious statements about her on Twitter. A judge has already rejected Courtney's argument that the suit goes against her right to free speech and apparently Simorangkir has a pretty good chance of winning her case! Courtney commissioned Simorangkir to create clothes for her from her Boudoir Queen clothing line. But when Courtney didn't pay for them, Simorangkir promptly stopped working for her and rightly so! It was then that Courtney started "exhibiting an intense level of animosity towards Simorangkir that has gone well beyond what any reasonable person would consider acceptable behavior." We don't doubt it with Courtney's track record! One of her Tweets read:
Sounds like it might have been a a drug-fueled rant to us, as well! P.S. CLICK HERE to "follow" Perez on Twitter! [Image via WENN.] |

So much for loving the phat! Raven Symone appeared much less of curvy at a United Nations event in NYC on Sunday. Not only did she lose some mayjah weight, but girl is working Dita's corset! We hope she can breathe because she's about ready to tip over!! We can expect someone's new diet to grace a few tabloid covers! Damn girl! Work it! [Image via Getty Images.] |
| Their Ratings Are Rolling Down The Hills Posted: 26 Oct 2009 04:45 PM PDT
We say, BLAME KRISTIN CAVALLARI!!! Things were just peachy before that bitch showed up! We know you're with us, Audrina Patridge! Thank goodness you're getting your own show! The new direction of The Hills (Plus Kristin and minus Lauren Conrad) has caused viewership to fall dramatically. The ratings fell 30% for the season premiere and only managed to bring in 1.72 million viewers on last Tuesday's episode. Ouch! Sources are suggesting that audiences find Kristin to be less "engaging/enraging" than the former villains of the series, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. They seem to be quite content these days in their own little newlywed world and have no time to cause drama for the other castmates. Furthermore, Could this be the end of The Hills?! Has Speidi seen it's day?! Has Kristin destroyed the franchise?! We sincerely hope so! [Image via WENN.] |
| Cop Pulls A Gun On Leatherface! Posted: 26 Oct 2009 04:37 PM PDT
Too bad it was just some kid trying to earn a living this Halloween season! This guy is such an idiot! A police officer in Baltimore pulled a gun on a haunted house employee this weekend because he got scared! Sgt. Eric Janik was leaving the premises of a haunted house attraction when an employee, dressed up as the killer from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, wanted to get "one last scream" out of the man. Instead, he almost got a bullet to the chest as the officer pulled out his weapon and pointed directly into his chest, forcing the employee to drop his FAKE chainsaw! When the officer was questioned about the incident, he described two different stories, both contradicted by witnesses, and smelled of alcohol. The cop has been suspended without pay pending a formal suspension hearing. Can you say "securitas" buddy? |
| The Vampire Diaries Are Taking Over Posted: 26 Oct 2009 04:30 PM PDT
Looks like The CW has finally realized that Melrose Place isn't going anywhere but down. The execs just fired Ashlee Simpson - they're guessing that might actually help increase the ratings. And in an even better move, the network has now replaced the Wednesday repeats of Melrose Place with repeats of their hit show, The Vampire Diaries. Starting this Wednesday, repeats of The Vampire Diaries will air through the month of November. Great news for everyone as they'll get to enjoy their fav show twice. As for Melrose Place, execs are hoping that with Heather Locklear's return in November the ratings will increase. Our money is still on The Vampire Diaries making it big. Vampires mixed in with a bit of witchery is always a plus! [Image via Getty Images.] |
| Polanski Victim Wants Case Dropped Posted: 26 Oct 2009 04:22 PM PDT
There's just something odd about the whole case surrounding director Roman Polanski. Polanski was drugging and raping 13-year-old Samantha Geimer during a modeling shoot back in 1977 and was then indicted on six felony counts to which he plead guilty but later fled the country the night before he was scheduled to be sentenced. Years later in 1988, Geimer sued Polanski for $500,000. Money helps, but it doesn't heal emotional scars. But does time heal all wounds? It seems that Geimer wants to drop the lawsuit against Polanski and wants it dropped now! In fact, her attorney Lawrence Silver is asking a California appeals court to dismiss the criminal case against Polanski. For reals! According to Silver, Geimer is suffering due to all the recent media attention, claiming she's received almost 500 calls seeking comment since Polanski's arrest last month. Silver adds that Geimer is being stalked by journalists from different international news outlets and has even received interview requests from big shots like Oprah Winfrey! She turned down Oprah? The suit claims that "The pursuit has caused her to have health-related issues. The pursuit has caused her performance at her job to be interfered with and has caused the understandable displeasure of her employer and the real possibility that Samantha could lose her job." Adding at the end, "Leave her alone." It's a tough one. We understand Geimer doesn't want to be in the spotlight and we're sure the media hounding her isn't helping any, but what message does it send to release a rapist without any punishment? What do U think? Should Polanski be set free or brought back to the US to face sentencing? [Image via WENN.] |
| Things Are Getting UGLIER For Betty! Posted: 26 Oct 2009 04:15 PM PDT
The switch to Friday nights isn't working out for Betty Suarez! The once ABC mega hit, Ugly Betty, is now TANKING in the ratings due to the their new night, falling down to 4.5 million viewers this past Friday, which is down double digits from the week before! Meanwhile, its Friday night counterpart, Supernanny, drew in 12% MORE viewers in its premiere last Friday than the year before. It might be time to hang up the poncho, Betty. Unless you get some kind of AMAZING, MAJOR storyline, and fast! [Image via WENN.] |
| The Quaids Are A No-Show Again Posted: 26 Oct 2009 04:07 PM PDT
Naughty! Even though they claim to have settled their debts, they still need to face the charges. Not only did they skip out today, but they were supposed to show up to court last week and failed to do so. As a result the Santa Barbara District Attorney is going through with extraditing the couple who will now be re-arrested in Texas and sent to California. Apparently they are requesting to come to court on Thursday, but the DA isn't taking any chances and plans to file the extradition papers regardless. Good idea! These two can't seem to be trusted! Usually, Fox has to wait for the juggernaut known as American Idol to lift them to the top of the network heap. Such is not the case these days! Months before we are graced with Idol, Fox has taken the lead against all the other networks. In large part, the Yankees making a triumphant return to the World Series has a lot to do with it, but it isn't the only factor helping Fox stay #1. This season, the network seems to be in the lead with it's primetime programming, holding strong with it's popular scripted dramas, like Bones, putting So You Think You Can Dance into the fall line-up, and it's new shows, Glee and The Cleveland Show. If they can hold strong in the weeks between the World Series and the return of Idol, Fox may just win the honor of being the year-around broadcast leader. Can they do it? For their sake, hopefully the Yankees and the Phillies will play all seven games. Couldn't hurt! |
