Rock Band In The Palm Of Your Hand

We'd get annoyed with this SO quickly, but you video game junkies should be pretty excited about it.

iPhone has teamed up with the folks behind Rock Band to great the franchises first iPhone app! The game will involve "tapping four spots on the iPhone screen in time with guitar, bass, drum, and vocal parts." We don't think that is nearly as fun as actually playing with a guitar but what do we know!

The song selection is pretty sweet though. It includes The Go-Go's "We Got the Beat", Foo Fighters "Learn to Fly", and Blink-182 "All the Small Things".

Are U gonna get this app?

Simon Cowell Gives Back!

The meanie Brit judge on American Idol has always had a soft spot for furry friends, but this was extra nice of him.

Exorcist actress Linda Blair has spent the last few years of career actively working as part of her non-profit WorldHeart Foundation, which cares for up to 50 abandoned dogs at a time. She found that her shelter was becoming pretty strapped for cash and that is when Simon Cowell came in to save the day.

He donated $30,000 to ensure that the center could stay open, admitting that it was a no brainer situation when a mutual friend brought the problem to his attention.

He says: "I think what Linda is doing is incredible. Seeing pictures of the dogs makes you realise what a fantastic job she's doing. When we spoke, I was really impressed by her passion and commitment, and offered to help her out financially."

Good for you!

A load of kudos for you, Cowell!

At least, in theory!

A very lifelike bobblehead (aka Audrina Patridge) was walking in El Lay on Wednesday wearing a shirt promoting breast cancer awareness.

And boy, does she know her girls!

We bet she could tell us exactly where she bought them!

On Wednesday, reality TV star and media whore Kim Kardashian took to her official blog to tell the world about a skit she had made with the "JMZ Crew", which would be airing on The Jay Leno Show.

Unfortunately, she later updated to say it wouldn't be airing that night.

Kim revealed, "Hey guys! So I just heard that my skit will not be airing tonight but I'll keep you updated when I hear about the new date!"

And now we know the reason why.

Kim was replaced for KATE GOSSELIN!

For Realz!

Instead, they aired a clip, which we showed y'all, of Kate with the "JMZ Crew". In it, Gosselin pokes fun at herself and her "mommy image".

Getting bumped off for Kate Gosselin?

Good thing they never gave up the makeup schtick! Looks like they haven't aged a day!

Kiss has released Sonic Boom next week, its first new studio effort in 11 years and it's poised to sell BIG time!

According to early sales reports, Sonic Boom is expected to sell between 150,000 - 175,000 copies. That's huge for the band who would get their first chart-topping release EVER!

The album is being sold exclusively at Wal-mart and will feature 3 discs — one with all new material, a greatest hits CD and a live DVD from their Kiss Alive 35 South American tour in Argentina.

Kiss member Gene Simmons has proudly proclaimed that it could be "the best new record" they've done since 1976's Destroyer.

Will U be buying the jam-packed Kiss album next week?

Letterman's Wife Demanded The Apology

David Letterman revealed his sexual affairs with staffers last week and that was the last time the talk show host wanted to address the situation.

But his wife Regina Lesko wasn't satisfied with that and reportedly demanded that he apologize on the show directly to her for the embarrassment he's caused.

Regina agreed to let him make a few jokes in the speech, but apparently he went a bit too far and she isn't pleased. The source says: "Regina felt like Dave's humorous take on the apology lessened the sincerity of it, and she's not happy at all."

We think Dave is going to be in the doghouse for a loooong time!

NBC Sued Over Fonts!

Really?!

NBC is being sued by the Font Bureau, one of the country's most prestigious typographical design firms!

Who knew that even existed?!

Supposedly, the company, who designed typefaces for the likes of Apple, Microsoft and The New York Times, is accusing the network of illegally using trademarked fonts that they did not pay for!

And to make matters worse, they are included in NBC's fall marketing campaign for The Jay Leno Show, Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Oops!

The trademark and copyright infringement suit was filed on Tuesday and the Font Bureau claims that NBC only paid for a single license, but copied other fonts to several computers within the company.

And they say that's worth $2 million!

That better be some pretty impressive lettering!
