The first time around, Mariah Carey's new album, Memiors of an Imperfect Angel, didn't soar. Let's see if round two has different results! The new new album will include remixes to every song on Memoirs. Producer Tricky Stewart says it will be "easy" and "fun" to do, but he has big plans for Mariah's cover of Foreigner. He says: "I'm gonna do a remix to Want to Know What Love Is myself. I'mma raise the tempo up. I'mma try to make it into something else." Let's hope that helps. No word on when this remix album will be released, but in the meantime, the third single off the original album has been decided and will be H.A.T.E.U. Have U heard it? What did U think of it? Even the arrival of Hilary Duff couldn't save Gossip Girl from it's major ratings slump! This week, the show came in dead last again in the ratings, only scoring 1.1 million viewers. Unless all you tweens are watching Dancing With the Stars, we just don't get it. What? Does Chace Crawford not do it for you girls anymore? People love Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer! HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm saw their best ratings in 5 years after drawing in 1.6 million viewers for the fake Seinfeld "reunion." If you include the replay at 10 p.m., they had 2.6 million viewers for the whole night. Pretty impressive. The episode featured Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards playing themselves as Larry David plans a Seinfeld reunion show for NBC. You know, the whole "show-within-a-show" concept. Did U watch the Seinfeld cast get together again? What did U think? |

We're nearing the one-year anniversary of novelist Michael Crichton's death and his widow and FIFTH wife, Sherri Alexander Crichton, is filing a claim against the late writer's estate for $7 million. Sherri and Michael had a pre-nup dated April 22, 2005, which stated that she would receive $1 million per year for nine year. So far, she's only received the $2 million and she wants the rest. According to the pre-nup she's entitled to a lump sum of the remaining cash in the event of Michael's death. So much for still playing the part of the grieving widow! She's losing her old people demographic! Though Jennifer Love Hewitt's old people hit Ghost Whisperer still finished first for the 8 P.M. slot last night, it was with a pathetic showing of only 7.63 million viewers with a 1.7 rating/6 share among adults 18-49. That might sound rather decent to you, however, compared to last year, there is a considerable loss - almost 2 million viewers and 32% decrease in the demo. Sucks to be you Jen! But it's not what you think. According to a source Shannen Doherty "is putting final touches on a reality-type series to show her 'lighter and funnier' side". Really? The show, which for the moment is titled Shannen, will have the actress star and produce. That's the best title they could come up with? The source continues: "She's excited about it, because she doesn't want that stigma anymore of being a bitch." It's worked for almost 20 years, why stop now? As far as the format of the show, that's still up in the air, but there's a possibility it may have "scripted elements". Of course it will. It's not reality television without some sort of fake element. Just ask the Kardashians! Hopefully this will work out better than her 2006 series Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty. He's really starting to look it! Jim Carrey showed off a much heftier figure at UCLA's Visionary Ball in Beverly Hills! The comedian is in the process of gaining 40-50 pounds for the role of Curly in The Three Stooges film. Not to mention the yetti beard! And although we figured his health-nut girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy must hate it, she feels quite the opposite! "Oh my God! I get to be dating Curly!
