At a concert in Sydney this weekend, Beyonce picked a very special girl from the audience to come on stage with her as she sang the touching power ballad Halo. Little Chelsea is suffering from Leukemia and the lyrics to the song took on a much deeper poignance as Beyonce sang them. There was not a dry eye in the house! Watch the very very very touching moment that has left us sobbing and teary-eyed mess (above). P.S. Music can heal. It can! |

How do U get your weekly dose of True Blood? By the time the hit HBO series' season finale on September 13th, viewership had grown to a massive 12.4 million viewers per episode! But only 24% of that 12.4 mil watch the show during its time-slot! 37% of viewers catch True Blood through reruns, while 21% watch the show through DVR playback and 18% watch True Blood through HBO's On Demand service. On Demand viewing of the vampy series has shot up 5% from the first season of True Blood, while rerun viewing has dropped an insane 56%. Convenience is key! Which do U prefer??? |

The cracky smile is no longer! In the past couple of weeks, Wino has had some major dental work done to correct her drug-addled teeth! Ames has gone under a "series of fillings and extractions" to correct her busted up teeth, which friends of the hard-pAArtying Brit say were completely trashed. "Amy's teeth were in a pretty gross state," says one friend. "They were brown and stained and needed major work on them and she was determined to get them back to their sparkling best." The only problem? Winehouse is back on the drugs! Prescribed, mind you. The insider says that Amy has been given some "very strong drugs" to deal with the "constant" pain, but Ames believes the pain and sacrifice is worth it in the end. We smell a relapse! Did Taylor Momsen originally have a role in the upcoming Runaways/Joan Jett biopic???? According to Momsen's record contract, she's required to fork over some major $$$$ if she signs up for an acting role that includes any "musical elements", but there's an exception to the clause! The contract says Taylor is allowed to sing for two projects: Gossip Girl and "an upcoming Runaways project." Hmmm! Did someone get booted off the film before shooting even began??? Or was it wishful thinking on Momsen's part because she's such the rock star now????? The Runaways flick, starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, has never mentioned the addition of Little J to the cast, so… [Image via WENN.] |

These two deserve each other! Although Avril Lavigne and Greasy Bear aka Brandon Davis have been pAArty pals for awhile, it turns out Avril spent a month on a yacht in St. Tropez with the douchebag this summer! All while still married to Sum-41 hubby Deryck Whibley!!!! Lavigne pAArtied it up all summer long on Davis' 100-foot-yacht with friends, where the washed-up pop punk star was seen "downing shots, drinking booze from the bottle and play-fighting men on the beach." Says one source: "She wasn't acting like a married woman at all." No shit! Even though Avril and Deryck have since split, insiders say she's absolutely "not involved romantically" with Davis in any way, and that the two are "just friends." Friends with a major problem! | Blink-182 Plan To Donate $100k To Burn Centers Posted: 20 Sep 2009 11:14 AM PDT
Blink-182 has announced that $100,000 of the proceeds from their show in Phoenix, AZ, Saturday night will be donated to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia as well as the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, California. Pay it forward! According to the press release, the donation is "being made in recognition of their tremendous care and aid of Travis Barker through his recovery from the 2008 plane crash." The band is hoping their generous donation will "help these burn centers continue their lifesaving work." [Image via WENN.] |
