Wino's performance with the group was less than impressive, but it's great to see Ames back on the stage while staying steady on her own two feet, right? Winehouse wiggled along to Ghost Town and You're Wondering Now before bidding the crowd adieu, shouting, "Give it up for the fucking Specials!" Check it out (above). Thoughts??? |

So last May, fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir sued our favorite Twittering trainwreck, Courtney Love, because the designer was "the latest victim of Love's volatile personality, hair trigger temper, and malicious and tortious behavior." Well, Miz Love is now demanding the suit be tossed out! The designer, who Courtney called a "vile horrible lying bitch" on Twitter, said Love began the internet smear campaign against her because Court flipped out when she sent Love a bill for a custom dress she designed for the singer. According to legal docs, Courtney says Simorangkir in fact stole "hundreds of thousands of dollars" of clothing from her room at the Chateau Marmont and proceeded to sell Love's old rags on Etsy! She REALLY hand "hundreds of thousands of dollars" worth of clothes there???? Courtney went on to trash Simorangkir on Etsy, Twitter and Love's own personal blog, calling the designer out as "a cocaine dealer, a thief, an embezzler, a racist and a homophobe." Court's lawyer says Simorangkir has no right to sue his client because "alternative mediums such as Twitter and personal Web blogs enjoy the same First Amendment protection as do newspapers, television and radio. It is important that this cherished right not be marginalized when speech is communicated via the Internet. Ms. Cobain enjoys using Twitter and expressing her views… to her fans and those who are interested in following what she has to say." The designer's legal reps have no intentions of throwing the case out, because they're positive if the matter is brought in front of a jury, they'll side with Simorangkir. Sounds like slander to us! This isn't a dark secret from Reid's past, either - he's currently in production on Killer Bitch, a hardcore porn that depicts the cage fighter raping and strangling his co-star!!!!!!! Reporters caught a sneak peek at filming on Saturday afternoon, where they witnessed Reid "acting" in a full-frontal "aggressive rape scene" in which "the woman ends up supposedly enjoying it." The spy continues: "It was all very aggressive and he was really throwing himself into the role, grunting furiously." Definitely the kinda guy you wanna have around your children! NOT! Leaky sources within the Killer Bitch production are complaining that Jordan is making filming a total bitch for the rest of the crew. Says the insider: "Jordan has been making life pretty difficult for Alex during filming. Earlier in the week she was on the phone to him constantly. At one point he asked if we could put filming off a day because she was giving him such a hard time." Director James Cameron will be collaborating with Panasonic in an effort to promote their new 3D televisions! How cool! The Titanic and Terminator director's new film, Avatar, was shot entirely in 3D, so Cameron has allowed footage from the film to be included in the promotional push for Panasonic's 3D TV. Smart! $trategic! "I believe 3D is how we will experience movies, gaming and computing in the near future. 3D is not something you watch. It's a reality you feel you could step into," Cameron previously stated on the topic of three-dimensional multimedia. The execs at Panasonic are banking on the success of Cameron's Avatar to generate buzz for a 3D home theatre. Says GM of Panasonic, Masayuki Kozuka: "We want to get global interest rolling. For people to want to watch 3D at home, the movie has to be a blockbuster." Panasonic is aiming for the flat screen, three-dimensional sets to hit store shelves in 2010, but the video giants have yet to decide on a price range for the 3D TVs. Would U buy a 3D set???? The men responsible for stealing a memory stick with pHOtos of Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton on vacation have been sentenced! Charlie Ewins and Leon Sesay, who claimed to have found the memory stick "in a gutter", were offered over $40,000 by UK tabloid The Sun for the snapshots in August of 2008. When the dummies demanded double the $$$$$ for the pics from the Royals' vacay on a Caribbean island, the folks at The Sun reported the thieves to the police! Dumb, dumb, dumb. "You are essentially fools for whom things have spiralled out of control," stated the legal counsel during last week's trial. While that is good news, the bad news is that this means they probably won't be releasing the first record in America. Boo!! Oh well.
