We mentioned earlier about Susan Boyle cracking under the pressure of her recent fame. Well, Britian's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan heard about it too and he thinks people should lay off and leave poor Susan alone! He told the Early Show that he was "feeling more supportive" of the Scottish singer and understands why she would react the way she did. "You have to remember with Susan, she's a 48-year-old lady from a tiny village in Scotland who has never been exposed to anything like this kind of attention. And I think she's really feeling the heat." He also revealed that Susan even threatened to leave the show because of the "sheer amount of pressure on her." On his Thursday visit to The View, Frasier alum and Broadway performer David Hyde Pierce revealed that he wed longtime boyfriend, Brian Hargrove, last fall. Back when it was legal for California gay and lesbian couples to have the same rights, privileges and protections as their fellow heterosexual taxpayers. The usually private star feels compelled to speak up in light of the state Supreme Court's decision this week to uphold Proposition 8 banning gay marriage. "Brian and I always kept a low profile. We didn't hide our lives. We got married very quietly last October 24 and thought that was fine, and then suddenly the state of California said, 'No, it's not,'" said Pierce. Although his marriage is still legal, as are the other gay and lesbian weddings 18,000 that happened, the actor felt "very angry" while awaiting the Prop 8 decision wondering, "'Gee, I hope it's OK the Supreme Court thinks I'm married.' Perpetual hot mess Country Love just released a statement regarding the lawsuit in which AmEx claims she owes more than $350,000 in credit card debt. It was coherent so you know it was given through her lawyer! Her attorney claims, "AmEx knows the claim has no merit. We have told them this for a long time. AmEx's law policies allowed fraudulent transactions to be charged to my client's card." Just because Courtney is (allegedly) hammered doesn't mean they are fraudulent charges!!! Some parents offer bribes for their kids to do well in school or clean the house. The Palins use them as a means to get rid of the dead-beat babydaddy hanging around their family! According to a new interview with Levi Johnston, father of the out-of-wedlock grandchild of Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin was offered a car by her father Todd if she agreed to dump Levi. Obviously, she didn't take it and instead got stuck with the loser and a baby all before she even graduated high school. Bet Bristol wishes that she took him up on that offer now! This guy really likes to do secret agent movies! Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise is in talks to star in a new movie with Cameron Diaz called Wichita. Variety describes the flick as an "action comedy" in which Cruise will play a secret agent who "pops in and out of the life of a single woman." Wonder how Adam Lambert is going to feel about this? The The judge who may not be back next season, Kara DioGuardi, did a taped interview for The View which will air this Friday. And, during the segment, Barbara Walters asked DioGuardi if she thought his "perceived sexuality" might have influenced the audience to vote for Kris Allen. To which DioGuardi responded, "Well, first of all, I hope not … because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry and they both [Lambert and Allen] had that. I don't think that Adam [Lambert] was ever in [the closet]. I think he was always openly out." Was he openly out? He's never confirmed it, despite many photographs revealing him kissing guys. And he's also REPEATEDLY refused to answer the question directly, when asked over the last week and a half if he is gay or not. During a recent interview, he LAMEbert told to interviewer that he likes to have everyone "keep speculating." When Walters reaffirms that it wasn't the public's perception that Lambert was openly gay, DioGuardi continued, "I think he was. I mean from what I've seen … I do. I never thought he wasn't." We are officially grossed out to the max! Britney Spears took a detour from the Circus tour to do a very glamorous photoshoot for Elle recently. Onlookers revealed that she looked stunning in the fabulous couture, but then the shoot took a disasterous turn.
