Oprah's caught SuBo fever! The Britain's Got Talent breakout star is scheduled to appear on Oprah next Monday! Boyle will be interviewed from her home in Scotland for the episode which the Big O is calling The Oprah Winfrey Show: The World's Got Talent. Since Kiefer Sutherland decided to create a real-life episode of his hit action-drama series, the fate of the actual show might be up in the air. The eighth season of 24 is scheduled to begin shooting at the end of this month, but that won't be possible if Jack Bauer is behind bars! As of now, reports say that no criminal charges have been filed but that prosecutors plan to charge the actor with minor assault. It's still unclear as to what went down between Sutherland and designer Jack McCollough. If a charge is filed, it will violate Sutherland's parole agreement from his previous DUI. | The Vatican Reviews Angels & Demons And Deems It "Harmless" Posted: 07 May 2009 04:30 PM PDT
The Vatican's very own newspaper has passed its judgement on the new Ron Howard/Tom Hanks flick Angels & Demons, and has deemed the film "a gigantic and smart commercial operation" littered with "stereotyped characters," but ultimately just "two hours of harmless entertainment, which hardly affects the genius and mystery of Christianity." Earlier this week, Howard had spoken out against the Vatican for refusing the production film permits. L'Osservatore Romano, who reviewed the film, suggested that one could make a game of pointing out all of its historical inaccuracies. Yeah, and we could make a game out of counting all the church's hypocrisies. |

Perhaps. But doubtful. The New York Post reports seeing Jennifer Aniston being real "chummy" with Bradley Cooper at a party Tuesday. The event was for her new movie, Management, and in a very creepy sort of way, co-star Cooper donned a hat and sunglasses to bypass the red carpet. Once inside, he and Aniston spent the whole evening flirting with one another. One partygoer said "She kept touching his chest and whispering in his ear." The pair were seen leaving the party approximately 10 minutes apart. If it's true, at least it is an upgrade from John Mayer. She must be listening when people told her she could do better! 90's supermodel Stephanie Seymour has found herself stuck in the middle of a nasty divorce! Seymour and her husband of 16 years, White Birch Paper Co. owner Peter Brant, decided to separate two months ago but both parties have yet to move out of their Connecticut mansion! "It's OK. I'm sleeping in the maid's quarters," Seymour reportedly told a pal. "I'm doing the best I can to keep things amicable. I want to be the bigger person. But it's tough. He's playing very dirty with me," she continued. Brant's version of playing dirty?? He's demanding custody of their three children and making the claims that Stephanie is "an unfit mother"!!! This coming from the man who was sent to jail for tax evasion in the 90's! Seymour's friends are disgusted that the model's ex-hubby would involve the children in their personal dramz but have no clue who will be awarded custody of 15-year-old Peter Jr., 12-year-old Harry and 4-year-old Lily. An $85 million opening weekend isn't enough for Fox, which is whining about "losing" $28.7 million to the 4 million people who watched the pirated version of Wolverine. As if anyone can prove that those 4 million would have seen it in the theaters at all or that some of those 4 million didn't also pay to go see the film on the big screen. As if! Wolverine has had the best opening of any movie this year. The point is the movie is hugely popular, illegally, legally, and somewhere in-between. |

Warner Bros. has just announced that they plan on another installment of the stoner franchise entitled A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. Paula Abdul is claiming there's absolutely no truth to the story in the June issue of Ladies Home Journal detailing her battle with addiction! The article in which she ON-THE-RECOED! According to LHJ, Abdrool struggled with weening herself off the medications prescribed to treat her chronic pain. The mag even QUOTED Paula as saying, "I could have killed myself…Withdrawal – it's the worst thing." Paula called into WKQI's Mojo in the Morning in Detroit Thursday morning to clear the air! "I've never checked into a rehab clinic. I've never been addicted or abused drugs, and I've never been addicted or abused alcohol. I've never even been drunk in my life," stated Abdul. And what about the Idol judge's stay at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California last fall to detox from the hardcore pain meds?? "It's a spa. I was there for almost three days having fun doing spa stuff. It's not a clinic. It's not a detox place. It's a luxurious spa. It's like taking a mini vacation. I just wanted to chill out and get massages and maybe a manicure and pedicure." By the looks of the La Costa website, Abdrool appears to be telling the truth!! About that.
