Seems that Kiefer Sutherland challenged his inner "Jack Bauer" Monday night. According to reports, Kiefer attended an after-party for the Met Ball at SubMercer. It was there that onlookers, such as Mary-Kate Olsen and Kirsten Dunst, watched Kiefer HEADBUTT designer Jack McCollough. In fact, he hit him so hard, he broke his nose!!! Whoa now! With Conan O'Brien getting ready to take over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show starting June 1st, it seems the redheaded funnyman is working on his fitness. On Sunday, O'Brien was spotted biking around Los Angeles with a guy pal. But, surprisingly, the 46-year-old doesn't appear to be in such bad shape. Check out those hairy, muscly legs. Seksi! Joba Chamberlain of the New York Yankees has got himself one crazy momma! His mom was arrested and jailed on Saturday night in Nebraska on suspicion of selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer. Back in February, she allegedly sold an officer 1 gram of a controlled substance for $110. The arrest had to be delayed as the Nebraska state lab had to test the substance. Classy lady! Dude must take after his mom though. Just a few weeks ago, the Yankees pitcher pleaded guilty to drunk driving and was placed on nine months probation. We have no clue how she pulled this off, but E! personality Debbie Matenopoulos will be receiving $3,595 a month from her ex-husband in spousal support! Matenopoulos, who already makes a reported $225,000 a year, will be paid the $3k and some change once a month every month until either she or ex Jay Faires passes away! Either that or until Debbie convinces another man to marry her! Sure, we understand spousal support when the other party is hurting for $$$, but really??? The two didn't even have children together! Bebe Neuwirth has gone and gotten herself hitched. Although you might know her as Frasier Crane's ex-wife Lilith from the show Frasier (and Cheers). She married Napa Valley's Destino vineyard founder Chris Calkins at the Players Club in Manhattan's Gramercy Park in a Buddhist/Christian ceremony. White Stripers drummer Meg White is engaged to rock spawn Jackson Smith (He's the son of Patti Smith and late MC5 guitarist Fred Smith). The couple met last summer and have actually been engaged for several weeks already, with a ceremony planned for later this month in Tennessee. Roman Polanski fled the country and it looks like he ain't never coming back. Attorneys for the film director stated in a court filing yesterday that Polanski will not return to the United States from Europe this week to contest in person his 1978 conviction for having sex with a 13-year-old girl. Legal experts say that if Polanski were to return from France to the U.S., he would promptly be arrested on the spot, but by not coming back, he has no chance of getting the conviction dismissed. Polanski tried to have his guilty plea thrown out on claims that the judge in the case was improperly coached by a prosecutor, but when that didn't work, he left the country and is now considered a fugitive. Monday night, several celebs and fashion insiders attended the 2009 Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala in NYC. The evening had several high and low points, with notable designers such as Marc Jacobs and fashion editor Anna Wintour in attendance. Though noticeably absent from the event was fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa. None of his dresses were even exhibited in the Model As Muse exhibit. So why not invite one of the top designers to the event? Alaia blames it on Wintour. He stated in a recent interview that "She has too much power over this museum." Seems Anna's not a big fan of his. So Alaia decided to ask seven models who were going to wear his designs to the show, not to wear his creations. One of those models included Naomi Campbell. So instead, Campbell decided to skip the whole event! Campbell has reportedly been a "muse" for Alaia for the past 23 years and even lived with him in Paris when she started her career and has been known to call him "Papa." A rep for the supermodel said Naomi "feels she doesn't want to attend unless she can represent his work." Also not in attendance due to Alaia's snubb was Stephanie Seymour, However, Met exhibit curator, Harold Koda, is defending Wintour (he knows what's good for him) and claiming that The Devil had nothing to do with the situation and he apparently just didn't include Alaia's work figuring the designer wouldn't agree to be part of a group show. Leave it to comedians to try and be funny in any situation! At least he gave a fierce mugshot! 27-year-old Todd J. Miller was arrested in downtown Bloomington, Indiana, early Tuesday morning on suspicion of drunk driving. The actor and comedian from Los Angeles was spotted weaving from lane to lane in a Ford Focus with an Ohio license plate at around 3:00am by Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy Chad Liersch. Miller apparently had a comedy show scheduled in Ohio over the weekend. Officer Liersch stopped the car and administered field sobriety, tests which Todd failed. The funnyman also refused to take a breathalizer test. Wonder why?!!!! Cops then took him to a nearby hospital where he had some blood drawn. Miller, aka T.J, is currently facing a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and his blood work results are pending. As for his credentials, he had a part in the 2008 movie Cloverfield, as well as having appeared in the very short-lived ABC series Carpoolers. This will be great for his career! At least no one was hurt. Dumbass! |
