| Lauer To Undergo Surgery After Bike Accident Posted: 23 Mar 2009 03:45 PM PDT
If you're a celebrity, you may want to lay off your bicycle - at least for a day or two! Lance Armstrong has suffered a broken collarbone after he fell from his bike in Spain on Monday. And, as we mentioned earlier, Today show co-host Matt Lauer flipped over his bike's handlebars, injuring himself after a deer jumped in front of him. Unfortunately for Lauer, it seems his injuries were worse than expected. Matt will require surgery. Turns out he separated his shoulder! According to the show's publicist, Lauer is "doing well." Here's to a speedy recovery - and we're glad (in the grand scheme of things) it was just a separated shoulder! [Image via WENN.] |

Agyness Deyn is back on the market! The British model and her rocker boyfriend, Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes, have reportedly called it splits. The two started dating back in June 2008 and all seemed to be going well. That is, until last month. Friends say the split was mutual and the two will remain friends. There's definitely no denying now that Kimora Lee Simmons is beyond the fat stage and totally preggers. Just yesterday, the fashion diva was spotted with her "husband" Djimon Hounsou spending some quality time with the kids and their dogs at a park in Beverly Hills. Ahoy, mateys! A hardly recognizable Marilyn Manson posted a new picture of himself on his MySpace page Monday morning with the announcement of a new Manson album and tour in the works! Manson and Co. will be releasing their 7th studio album The High End of Low in late May with a stint on the Mayhem Festival in the States this summer. Some of you might know Lisa Hannigan as the voice behind Damien Rice. More than just a backup singer, Hannigan was featured prominently on many Rice songs and even given her own opportunity to shine solo at his concerts. Unfortunately, their working relationship ended abruptly when Damien fired Lisa without warning or reason (at least according to her, in recent interviews). Well, everything happens for a reason, and getting sacked forced Hannigan to focus on her solo material. She's just come out with her first video (above), which is a cute, lo-fi take on her tune I Don't Know. While Lisa may not be as gifted a songwriter as Damien, her voice is exquisite and soothing to our ears. We could listen to her sing names off a phone book! Check out I Don't Know (above). |
