LeAnn Rimes' Husband "Dancer Dean" Is Outed As Being Gay…. By His Own Family!

No wonder LeAnn Rimes allegedly cheated on husband Dean Sheremet with her co-star Eddie Cibrian. She's been his beard all along!

No shocker there!!!!!!

Dean's friends and family called into Michigan's Mojo in the Morning show to confirm that the former backup dancer is gay!!!!

Duh!

Cousin Pebbles called into the morning talk show and matter-of-factly stated, "I mean, there were so many situations that happened when we were teenagers… He's gay. He's been gay since he was probably five."

So were we!!!!

Adds the babbling cousin, "The family literally used to take bets on what age he would come out, and then all of the sudden he got married!"

After Pebbles outed her cousin, the calls came pouring in!

The word from a student of the former dance teacher turned backup dancer? "He's definitely gay."

And from a woman who used to work at a restaurant with Dean's high school friends? "They called him "Dancer Dean"… [His friends] were surprised that he got married because they knew he was gay in high school the whole time."

We told you so!!

How are LeAnn's people going to spin this one???

Rufus Wainwright's Opera, Premiering This Summer!

Singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright's first opera, Prima Donna, is set to premiere in the UK this July!

After being turned away from the Metropolitan Opera in New York (the singer refused to change the language of the libretto from French to English), Wainwright has secured a spot at the Manchester's Palace Theatre as part of the Manchester International Festival.

"When I started writing the opera it was in French and it takes place in Paris," said the classical songbird of the venue swap. "It made sense - I was brought up in Montreal and I can speak French. The music started to reflect the language. But the Met wanted to commission an American work."

Always remain true to your work!

The opera follows the story of "a faded operatic soprano about to return to the stage after a six-year lay-off," and Wainwright is hoping Prima Donna will transform the current state of the opera genre!

"Opera seems to have been hijacked by intellectual elements… For a long time I wanted to make it a little less intellectual and have more emotional engagement. You have to remember it was a populous form, like the bandstand of its time," Wainwright disclosed.

Good luck!

Obama Apologizes for Special Olympics Comment!

Posted: 20 Mar 2009 11:50 AM PDT

wenn2238173__opt11__opt.jpg

As we mentioned earlier, President Barack Obama appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday night.

During the interview, Obama made a "joke" about his bowling skills being crap, comparing it to the Special Olympics. And, of course, that has angered many people.

It was also just a matter of time before the heads of the Special Olympics spoke out.

An official statement has just been released from the Special Olympics Chairman, Timothy Shriver, Maria's brother.

The release says:

"President Obama called last night and expressed his regret and he apologized. He said that he did not intend to humiliate Special Olympics athletes or people with intellectual disabilities. He was sincere and heartfelt, and said that he is a fan of our movement and is ready to work with our athletes to make the United States a more accepting and welcoming country for all people with special needs.

Words hurt and words matter. Words can cause pain and result in stereotypes that are unfair and damaging to people with intellectual disabilities. And using 'Special Olympics' in a negative or derogatory context can be a humiliating put-down to people with special needs.

This is a teachable moment for our country. We are asking young people, parents and leaders from all walks of life to engage in conversation and help dispel negative caricatures about people with intellectual disabilities. We believe that it's only through open conversation and dialogue about how stereotypes can cause pain that we can begin to work together to create communities of acceptance and inclusion for all.

Special Olympics is not a program, but a worldwide movement operating 30,000 events a year in more than 180 countries. Every one of them is a chance for people of all ages to get involved, to think differently about attitudes and perceptions they may have about people with intellectual disabilities, and to make a difference.

And so we challenge people to join our 'Spread the Word to End the Word' campaign, a youth-led national awareness effort that will launch on March 31, where we are asking people to pledge their respect for people with special needs. We're asking people to sign our 'R-word' pledge, to join in our Unified Sports programs, to volunteer, and to be fans of our athletes and our movement.

Additionally, we challenge policy leaders at all levels to commit to improving the support and resources for people with intellectual disabilities in areas such as healthcare, education, housing and recreation.

Finally, we invite the President to take the lead and consider hiring a Special Olympics athlete to work in the White House. In so doing, he could help end misperceptions about the talents and abilities of people with intellectual disabilities, and demonstrate their dignity and value to the world."

We do give Obama a lot of credit for calling right away to apologize and clear things up the night it happened.

Talk about quick damage control!

What do U think of it all?

Tara Reid Gets A Job!

wenn21123082.jpg

Washed up "actress" Tara Reid was spotted out earlier this week looking better than she has in a long time.

Yay sobriety!

And, now, it looks like Tired is heading back to work. That's a good thing! Even if it is a movie that's bound to go direct to DVD!

Reid has been cast in an untitled indie horror pic helmed by Tom Mattera and David Mazzoni. Production begins in September in Philadelphia.

Tired will play a mother whose family is terrorized by an unseen presence.

Uh oh, you're career is heading downhill - and fast! - when you start playing the "mother"!

According to the film's writer/producer, "The press release didn't exactly nail it. It is not "untitled" and is called 'The Fields'. We're hoping to make Tara relevant again."

Good luck with that! You'll NEED it!

P.S. Get a new publicist, dimwits!

Hurting For Cash? Lindsay's Big Impulse Buy!

After all that bitching and moaning in Nylon over her lack of $$$$$$, what did LezLo park outside saMAN's house on Thursday afternoon?

Oh, just her brand new Maserati!!

If you're having trouble paying for your house, how about not dropping over $100,000 dollars on a car????

Dumb!

We're sure Lohan will justify the purchase with her need to live a certain life$$$tyle, but it's about time for the hAArd-partying starlet to realize that she's no longer on top!

DeGeneres is still doing that "Bathroom Concert Series" on her show.

It was cute the first or second time. Now it's just old and tired, kinda like Lindsay Lohan's acting career!

We hope the talk show hostess puts and end to this sooooon.
