Pete Wentz Named as Host for the MTV Awards Down Under Posted: 24 Feb 2009 05:30 PM PST Pete Wentz and the rest of the Fall Out Boy guys were spotted at an Xbox party in Sydney, Australia on Sunday. Pete revealed at the party that he's set to 'host' MTV-Australia's awards show on March 27th. The new dad said, "Taking part in the MTV Awards nominations launch last week was a blast, and being MTV family, hosting the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards 2009 will give me the perfect excuse to come back to this spectacular country and for an even bigger party!" Hong Kong Sex Tape Scandal Brought To Court! Posted: 24 Feb 2009 05:00 PM PST HK's celebrated actor/pop idol, Edison Chen, is now on trial in Vancouver, where he was born, for the exposure of his sexual exploits with a number of Hong Kong's leading ladies on the internet last year! We mentioned last February how detrimental the leak of video and photographs of the actresses were to Hong Kong's entertainment industry, but Chen is assuring the courts that the X-rated photographs and videos were completely consensual. He in no way coerced the "virginal" actresses into stripping down for the camera!! "There was nothing forced. This is a matter between two people who agreed to something," Chen explained to the British Columbia Supreme Court on Monday. "I never showed them and never intended for anyone to see them… Those were all very private matters and never intended to be seen by anyone but myself. … no one should have this but me." The explicit pixxx were supposedly lifted from the trash on Chen's laptop when he brought the computer in for repair. The trash doesn't work to it's full effect if you don't empty it, buddy! The Jonas Bros To Surprise Moviegoers! Posted: 24 Feb 2009 04:45 PM PST Those Jonas Brothers. They just give, and give, and give! And, luckily for some fans, they might be able to meet Kevin, Nick, and Joe soon. Very soon. Unfortunately, fans won't know it before it happens. The Jonai's new flick Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience opens in theaters nationwide this Friday. And, the trio just announced some very exciting news at a press conference. Nick said yesterday, "We can't give too many details as to what cities or how many cities we'll be going to. What we can tell you is it will be a coast-to-coast tour and it's really all about our fans, and being able to experience this with them." The guys will be jetting across the country to surprise fans with "pop-ins" at several of the showings for their latest flick. Nick added, "This is a concert experience not only because you're watching a show but because you're a part of it. You're a part of our family in the movie and we want to be there with them when they see it." We've got to give credit to the person that came up with this publicity scheme! In Guy Ritchie's upcoming Sherlock Holmes flick, the super sleuth is quite the….metrosexual! According to reports, Sherlock is seen sharing a bed with dear Dr. Watson. They're also shown doin' some down home 'man-to-man' wrestling! As y'all know, Robert Downey Jr. plays the famous detective. He had this to say about his gaytastic role, "We're two men (Holmes and Watson) who happen to be room-mates, wrestle a lot and share a bed. It's badass." Jude Law plays Dr. Watson in Ritchie's movie. In a television interview in South Korea on Dragonball promotion duties he said, "As I grew older, my eyelids began to droop. I began going for cosmetic surgery in Hong Kong when I was filming The God Of Gamblers in 1989." He even joked, "If you go to Hong Kong for cosmetic surgery, I can introduce you to the doctor. Well, a new article from the New York Times has shed some light on just how financially effed Miz Leibovitz is! She borrowed $15.5 million from an art world 'pawnshop' last year - taking out $10 million as recently as Decmber!!! Basically, she put up the rights to some of her famous snaps for the big bucks. If Annie doesn't pay them back on time, the 'pawnshop' takes ownership of her works. Major! Britney's Ex, Adnan, Charged With Three Felonies! Posted: 24 Feb 2009 03:47 PM PST A few weeks ago, we mentioned that Britney Spears' former lover, Adnan Ghalib, tried to run over a court-appointed process server with his car and as a result, he's just been charged with THREE felonies! On Tuesday, the LA District Attorney charged Adnan with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and hit and run. The process server was reportedly trying to serve the landing stripped-one with legal papers related to the Britney restraining order case. Hope he'll do lots of time for these crimes! McDonald's Drive Through Worker Caught Selling "The Special" - DRUGS!!!! Posted: 24 Feb 2009 03:45 PM PST Bringing a whole new meaning to "Happy Meal"! In Edgewater, Maryland, 27-year-old Donald Brice was busted for selling pot out of a McDonald's drive through window. He was nabbed after undercover detectives set him up. Brice was arrested and charged with drug dealing and possession. How dumb do you have to be to be selling drugs like that? What was the code word for that? The "Grimace?" He is purple, after all. Although we do have to admit that it was probably great for business!

TMI? Madonna Gave Rosie Menopause Advice! Posted: 24 Feb 2009 03:31 PM PST Could it be true? She may have a 22 year old boyfriend, but Madonna has already had to deal with menopause? According to comedienne Rosie O'Donnell, she turned to Madge when her 'hormone things' started kicking in. Rosie was a guest on the Tyra Banks show when she made the menopause revelation. "She's [Madonna] great, she's a lot like a big sister. When I started having my hormone things, I'm like, 'What the hell is going on?' she's like, 'Get the cream,'" said RoRo to TyTy. We're sure that Madge is not happy that she was tied to this old lady stuff on national TV. And, what cream is it that Ro and Madge use to get through menopause?
