Madonna Can Make Horses Fly! Posted: 14 Jan 2009 07:45 PM CST Ah, yes, to be Madonna. To have horses and riding instructors flown out to you at your whim! Her Madgesty reportedly flying to Florida for the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival, and she's having British eventer Daisy Trayford flown out from England to coach her. The relationship started when Madonna bought two horses from Daisy, and Daisy's been helping her out with them on and off since then. Six months ago, Madonna had one of the horses shipped to the States, with the other horse following shortly thereafter. Daisy describes Madonna as a "dream pupil" because if Daisy had said anything else, Madonna would have given her a right hook with one of those crazy Popeye arms of hers. Daisy added, "She's very driven, listens to what you say and just wants to do it and improve. You can always get somewhere with someone like that. When I started teaching her she hadn't jumped at all and now she can jump a course of 1.05m. Jumping and hacking are her two favourite things." Hacking, eh? [Image via WENN.]

Gossip Girl Divorce Gets Even More Dramatic Posted: 14 Jan 2009 07:15 PM CST The child custody battle is getting HEATED! Daniel Giersch, the soon-to-be-ex husband of pregnant Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford, spoke out about the divorce proceedings through his lawyer and said, "Ultimately I want both of my children to have a stable environment." Giersch claims in court papers filed that Rutherford's Gossip Girl job makes life unsuitable for children: "Often times the TV show calls pressuring [her] to leave the hotels, asking her where she is, telling her that she is late and asking her to get into the van [which takes her to the set immediately]. Usually [her] stress causes Hermes to start crying which then causes [her] to be frustrated toward him. I do not believe this is a healthy lifestyle for him." He also appears to be quite upset that the actress has chosen work over family life: "(Rutherford) has insisted to sign a new ongoing contract for her television show when, in fact, it would be in our children's best interest if they are able to grow and thrive in a stable home in Los Angeles, rather than a hotel in New York with their mother absent." Taylor Swift Still On Top, Gets A Makeover! Posted: 14 Jan 2009 07:00 PM CST Taylor Swift has the #1 album in America yet again! For her SIXTH (nonconsecutive) week, the country cutie holds the top spot on the Billboard 200! Her album is now the first to spend six weeks at the top since the 2005 release of The Massacre by 50 Cent. As for Lady Gaga, she had a small drop in album sales for The Fame but she moved up in the rankings from number 26 to 14. And Katy Perry's One of the Boys went down in album sales but moved up from the 23rd spot to the number 15 spot on the chart. The chart is adjusting to the post-Christmas sales decrease! As for Swift, she's enjoying her time at the top. The talented cutie is guest starring on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Swift is playing Haley Jones, a dark teen whose family runs some little motel in Vegas. She was spotted on set (above) rocking the dark hair and alternative look. Jackie Chan To Star In Karate Kid Remake Posted: 14 Jan 2009 06:30 PM CST Jackie Chan has waxed on to the upcoming Karate Kid remake. The remake is to be produced by Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment and is intended to operate as a starring vehicle for Will's son, Jaden. Barf!!!! Chan will star as the eccentric mentor who teaches Jaden's character how to draw on his inner strength to overcome schoolyard bullies. Production is scheduled to begin this summer in Beijing. Kendra Dishes The Dirt On Hef And The Other Bunnies Posted: 14 Jan 2009 06:15 PM CST Finally! One of Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriends speaks out about the "real" life of living in the Playboy mansion. And, unlike how things were depicted on their reality show, The Girls Next Door, life wasn't always as pleasant as it seemed. 23-year-old Kendra Wilkinson tells Us Weekly, "I had to have sex every now and then, so I had to kind of sneak it. Besides the nights we went out, I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office. There were never solo dates." As far as sex with Hugh, yes, Kendra says they were "intimate." Wilkinson admits that the eldest girlfriend, Bridget Marquardt, apparently never cheated on Hef. Kendra says, "Bridget told me that she's been faithful all these years, and I was like, 'How the hell can you do that?' I had to have [sex] so I could feel my age, like a healthy human being." Holly was apparently faithful too (at least until Criss Angel came in the picture). Kendra says that her time with Hef was very limited: "The most we kind of say to each other is, 'I love you,' 'Love you too,' 'I hope you have a good day,' 'Did you have a good day?' " Oh, and it seems Hef was way controlling! Kendra says living with Hef was "way more strict than my life has ever been." Especially considering that it would drive her "insane" that staff members would keep track of her and the other ladies whenever they left the mansion. In fact, the staff would note down the times they left and returned to the mansion in a book and Hef would review it each morning. Dictator! Also interesting is the fact that they couldn't spend the holidays away from the mansion. But at least they got paid an allowance of $1,000 a week. Kendra added, "I hate putting my hand out, but we couldn't have jobs other than getting appearance fees. Hef was kind of like my best friend, but a sugar daddy at the same time … Hef made me feel beautiful. Now I'm totally against [Hefner's] way of life, with three girlfriends and all of that." Leo Gets Tagged To Be a Watch Whore Posted: 14 Jan 2009 06:00 PM CST Leonardo DiCaprio has been tapped to be Brad Pitt's replacement as the Tag Heuer celebrity pusher. Brad's 6-year contract with the luxe watchmakers ended last month, and Leo gladly accepted the multi-million 3-year deal to replace him. A new campaign featuring Leo will be launched in the spring. UPDATE: Leo signed on to be the new Tag guy to raise money for green causes. The millions Leo's making from the deal will be given to environment initiatives, say sources close to the deal. Arrested Development Movie Is A Go, But Will George Michael Be There? Posted: 14 Jan 2009 05:45 PM CST So it looks like the ball is rolling on the Arrested Development movie, but the big question is whether or not its darling, Michael Cera, will sign onto the project. At the tender age of 20, his star is on the rise, with roles in Superbad and Juno, so co-star Jason Bateman understands, saying, "The guy is 20 years old and I'm sure he doesn't want to screw up this opportunity." Still! He better decide soon! Arrested writer and producer Mitch Hurwitz is waiting on the decisions of all the actors to begin working on a silver screen script. If Cera decides not to return, Hurwitz says the film will most likely occur some time after the show left off. He goes on to joke that the film will be something like "Valkyrie meets Hotel for Dogs."
