Dane Cook's manager, Darryl McCauley, was arrested by Massachusetts state police on Tuesday for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from the comic. In a 2006 interview, Cook said his older brother was named Darryl McCauley, but court documents released did not say definitively whether the McCauley who was arrested is related to Cook. Other published reports also apparently list McCauley as Cook's brother and the best man in Cook's recent wedding. We can't think of anything worse than being screwed over by family!!! McCauley is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday morning to face two counts of larceny of over $250 AND forgery and larceny by continuous scheme. [Image via WENN.] |

You've seen them fuck pies, fall in love, and get hitched. You've maybe even watched Eugene Levy dole out awkward fatherly advice in all the American Pie straight-to-DVD spin-offs. But, are you ready for a 4th American Pie movie? The latest installment is set to return to theaters, which means that enough people out there still care enough to see just such a movie. Or so the studio is hoping. Don't the sex jokes get kind of old? Literally? It's uncertain where the next movie will pick up, apart from Levy's ubiquitous American Pie presence, but it seems most logical that we'll follow the Pie-Fucker and the Flute-Girl on some sort of wedded bliss escapade, having babies or something equally awful. In any case, we know that Terror Reid is probably positively chomping at the bit to reprise the 1999 role that made her famous oh so long ago. First she's gotta get out of "rehab." |

Cool break for biotechnology! On Tuesday, an Air New Zealand airplane successfully completed a flight that used a hybrid veggie oil fuel. This biofuel could lower airplane emissions and cut costs, according to airline reps. One engine of a Boeing 747-400 airplane was powered by a 50-50 blend of oil from jatropha plants and standard A1 jet fuel. There's been a real push this year for alternative fuels by airlines, which were slammed by super high oil costs earlier in the year. Coupled with the massive economic crisis at hand it's not surprising that cost-saving innovations are being embraced. An Air New Zealand rep couldn't say if the veggie oil blend would be cheaper than standard jet fuel, since jatropha is not yet produced on a commercial scale. Biofuels were once dismissed for use in aviation because most freeze at the low temperatures up in the skies. But this new test shows jatropha, whose seeds yield an oil already used to produce fuels like biodiesel, has an even lower freezing point than jet fuel. Air New Zealand Chief Executive Rob Fyfe said to the media, "Today we stand at the earliest stages of sustainable fuel development and an important moment in aviation history." So this past year (in 07), Madonna gave a bunch of money to Kabbalah - that's no surprise. What is surprising is her lack of donations toward her own organization in Malawi! Of the $3.1 million the singer doled out altogether last year, $2.6 million of it went to the Kabbalah Center of Los Angeles. About $4,000 went to the center's Spirituality for Kids - as promised from the sales of her children's books. Madonna also gave $250,000 to Mobilization Against AIDS, $15,000 to the "recording industry's pet charity," the TJ Martell Foundation for Leukemia and Cancer Research, along with donations to All Saints Church in Pasadena, California, to Los Angeles Jewish Big Brothers and Sisters, several other donations to smaller health organizations, and $23,000 to group that assists in constructing playgrounds in Russia. But - rather surprisingly - the Material Mom gave no money to her own Raising Malawi charity, nor any other Malawian organizations. And of the $3.7 million reportedly earned from her fundraiser with Gucci and UNICEF no one's heard hide nor hair of. There's still tax paperwork to be filed, but it does seem rather odd that Madonna should give no money to the country from which she adopted her son David. Inneresting! [Image via WENN.] |

On Tuesday, the Ford motor company announced that two of their new 2010 cars will feature new self-parking technology. How is that even possible??? Well, the technology uses ultrasonic sensors on the front and rear of the vehicle, combined with electric power steering to angle and guide it into a snug parking space — all with the push of a button. We say woo hoo to anything that will prevent dings, nicks and scratches! For the sake of the US car industry, we hope Ford and the rest of Detroit have better innovations up their sleeve, though! |

Boo hoo! After only six episodes, MTV's Apprentice knock-off 50 Cent: The Money and the Power has been cancelled. It's speculated that shiteous ratings and 'lack of buzz' are to blame. A seemingly clairvoyant Donald Trump speculated that Fiddy's show would fail. "It will fail because he's not Trump, but he's actually a nice guy," said the Donald. So, only douchebags finish first? The lovely Cate Blanchett reveals that her marriage of 11 years would most likely end if she ever got plastic surgery. She says, "I haven't done anything, but who knows. Andrew said he'd divorce me if I did anything." Cate, don't worry, you'll be married for another 5-10 years more we guess. Cuz right now you still look gorgeous! A decade from now, well you might need a little lift. If that makes you feel better. The 39 year-old Cate adds, "I'm not a spokesperson against the world of injectables. If you grow up in an environment where your mother gets you a boob job when you turn 18, what hope is there? But I didn't grow up in that world. The reason I went to train as an actor was that I was interested in it for the long haul. You can become very self-obsessed, but you've got to keep looking outward." And after having three boys, Cate should be happy she still looks so good. She says of her life after childbirth, "When you've had children, your body changes; there's history to it. I like the evolution of that history; I'm fortunate to be with somebody who likes the evolution of that history. I think it's important to not eradicate it. I look at someone's face and I see the work before I see the person…." So, does that mean she'll have more kids? She adds, "Who knows? Don't close those doors. The world is very overpopulated, but we do make nice ones. They all look like Andrew. To say he has dominant genes would be an understatement." And the actress gets even more poetic when she mentions that some people get surgery out of the fear of getting old. Guess Kate Moss' fugly boyfriend, rocker Jamie Hince, won't be buying her expensive presents again anytime soon! Turns out The Kills guitarist bought her an over $4,000 ring for Christmas. But, just three hours later Cokate lost the ring! She apparently A source says, "There was a terrible panic when Kate realised the ring had disappeared." Well, itturns out the ring isn't easily replaceable. Hince reportedly had it specially made for her while he was touring in the U.S. Kate then spent hours trying to find it at home.
