| Mash-Up! Details On The Facebook/MySpace Merge! Posted: 18 Nov 2010 04:50 PM PST This is so crazy! Myspace made the announcement today that they will be 'mashing up' with Facebook, which is a new feature that will allow Myspace users to create a personalized stream of entertainment content, via the information in their Facebook profiles! Myspace CEO Mike Jones explains:
Dan Rose, VP of Partnerships and Platform Marketing on Facebook, continues:
Some of the many new features will include:
Check out the instructorial video (above) to see how you can do it to your profile! This is a pretty brilliant plan, we have to admit! Dare we say that it could save Myspace from its current status as the elephant graveyard of the internet? We'll have to wait and see! What do U think?? Will U mash-up your Facebook and Myspace profiles? Do U even still have a Myspace profile?? P.S. CLICK HERE to "like" Perez on Facebook! |

Well that didn't take very long. Less than two weeks after breaking up (again) with Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus has found herself a new love interest! Sources say things are hearing up between Miley and Nickelodeon star Avan Jogia. The two have "been hanging out and getting closer" over the past couple of weeks and it looks like that's as far as it's going to go for now. The Disney starlet insists on being single for her upcoming birthday when she turns the big 1-8. Sorry, Avan. Miley just can't be tamed right now. [Image via WENN.] |

This certainly isn't going to help TSA's reputation, which is already not doing great! Recently, people have been complaining about TSA's new full body scanners, which show extremely detailed images of fliers' bodies. Now, news of a lawsuit regarding a 2008 incident at Corpus Christi airport has re-emerged, which is bound to lower TSA's popularity even more. Here's what the lawsuit, filed by the victim of the incident says:
And what happened after that? Here's more from the lawsuit:
Ew. That's really creepy, TSA. We are NOT impressed, and we understand why this woman feels the need to pursue legal action. Will this affect your feelings about TSA as you do holiday traveling over the next month or two? |
| Posted: 18 Nov 2010 04:35 PM PST We don't know why this is selling point. It just freaks us out. The SoHo apartment when Heath Ledger's young life so tragically ended is back on the market. It's a 4,400-square-foot, fourth-floor unit on Broome Street going for $5 million. The source says the place has been gut-renovated so it still needs a lot of work. It certainly looks like a nice place to live. We'd just get the hebby-jebbies thinking about living in the last place Heath was seen alive. It's like the beginning of some awful B-horror movie. |
| Hollywood Street Superheroes Will Remain Creepy On The Blvd! Posted: 18 Nov 2010 04:30 PM PST
Batman, Superman and other superheroes will be allowed to perform on Hollywood Blvd, thanks to approval from a federal judge. Judge Dean Pregerson ruled against selective police enforcement of Hollywood Boulevard's costumed characters, who solicit tips in exchange for pictures with tourists, on Wednesday. "I think if cops want to do their job correctly, go find a real criminal," said Michael Jackson impersonator Sean Vezina. Reports of aggressive panhandling and fights had police cracking down on unlicensed street performers, which led about two dozen arrests for crimes that included blocking the sidewalk. That is a little extreme. "It is all fun and games as long as they are just standing there," said LAPD Sgt. Robert McDonald. "But in the past they have assaulted them when they have refused to give money." There was another report of Batman getting drunk while celebrating his birthday, and a Shrek performer getting into a fight with a homeless man. LOLz. |
| Was Jersey Shore Idea Stolen?!?!? Posted: 18 Nov 2010 04:25 PM PST
Let's hope this isn't true, MTV! This would NOT be cool! Writer/producer Christopher Gambale is claiming that MTV stole his idea for Jersey Shore, and he may file a lawsuit against the network. Gambale says he had submitted a treatment to MTV called Guido: A Reality Series, which he registered with the Writer's Guild of America in 2006. His treatment included some key Jersey Shore words, such as "guido," "guidette," "nightclubbing," and "Guido fist pump." The subject from the treatment was described as gym-toned and tanned. BUT did he have heavily-gelled hair?!?!? Looks like Gambale's attorney sent MTV execs a letter, and they plan on filing a lawsuit one month from Nov 10 if they don't hear a response from the network by then. One thing Gambale doesn't claim credit for is Snooki. Here's what he had to say about her:
We're glad to hear you're not taking credit for Snook, Christopher! As for the origin of the show's concept, we'll be curious to hear how MTV responds to your complaint. Do U think MTV stole Gambale's idea? [Image via WENN.] |

Dude just wants to get paid! Cy Waits, the newest beau of Paris Hilton, has filed a $3 million lawsuit against Victor Drai for not paying him and his brother for managing his nightclubs. According to the suit filed by Cy and his brother Jesse, the brothers are suing Victor, who owned a number of venues including Drai's Afterhours, Tryst at Wynn and XS at Encore, for alleged breach of contract, misrepresentation and deceptive trade practices, among other things. Under the terms of their contracts, the brothers were promised 16.66 percent of the monthly net profits from Tryst and XS and 33.33 percent from Drai's Afterhours. Since July, neither has seen a dime from either gig. Oops! Maybe it has something to do with the, um , scene he caused last August? [Image via WENN.] |

| This Should Be A Public Holiday in America Too! Posted: 18 Nov 2010 04:10 PM PST
According to the British Prime Minister David Cameron, the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton MAY become a public holiday in the UK. The Prime Minister has said that he'd support a public holiday, even if it ends up being a weekend wedding. The marriage is planned for either Spring or Summer 2011, and a date is expected to be announced in next few days. Pretty good way to ensure that Prince William never forgets his anniversary! LOLs. Do U think this royal wedding should be a public holiday in the UK? How about here in the U.S.? [Image via WENN.] |
| Bruno Mars' Court Appearance Rescheduled! Posted: 18 Nov 2010 04:05 PM PST
Hmm. We wonder what's going on here! Bruno Mars, who was arrested for possession of cocaine at the Hard Rock Hotel in September, was supposed to be due in court today to face those charges, but instead has rescheduled his appearance until December 14th! His lawyers, Blair Berk and David Chesnoff, declined to comment on why. Inneresting! We doubt the reason for the switch is anything that crazy, but we will be very curious to see how he fares in court! Thoughts?? [Image via WENN.] |
