Saw 3D Slices To The #1 Spot On Halloween Weekend Posted: 31 Oct 2010 02:00 PM PDT People loooove to watch creepy things on Halloween! Saw 3D, the film's seventh and (hopefully) final film in its franchise, was the #1 movie this weekend, taking in $24.2 million. While the film definitely made more than last year's Saw VI's $14.1 million, it was only the fifth highest-grossing film out of all the Saw movies. Paranormal Activity 2 went down a notch, taking the #2 spot in its second weekend, with $16.5 million. In just two weeks, the film has made $65.7 million, which is a HUGE number, considering the film only cost $3 million to make. Summit's Red remained in third place with $10.8 million while Jackass 3D took a pretty big drop, plummeting 61% with $8.4 million. Matt Damon's Hereafter dropped 47% and took the 5th spot with $6.3 million. Yikes. What did U see this Halloween weekend??

Rally To Restore Sanity Draws Over 200,000 People To D.C.!! Posted: 31 Oct 2010 01:00 PM PDT Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity and Stephen Colbert's March to Keep Fear Alive drew almost 250,000 people to the National Mall in Washington D.C. on Saturday. Appearing live on Comedy Central and on satellite broadcasts in 20 different cities, such as in Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, and Boise, the three hour rally mostly consisted of satire and comedy with humorous sketches and surprise musical guests such as Kid Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, The Roots, Sheryl Crow, Tony Bennett, and Yusuf Islan, the former Cat Stevens. However, it took a serious turn in the end when Jon Stewart made a speech saying these are "hard times, not end times." He added: "This was not a rally to ridicule people of faith or people of activism, or look down our noses at the heartland or passionate argument, or to suggest that times are not difficult and we have nothing to fear. They are and we do. The image of Americans that is reflected back to us by our political and media process is false. [Americans hear] how fragile our country is, on the brink of catastrophe, torn by polarizing hate, and how it's a shame that we can't work together to get things done. The truth is, we do. Charlie Sheen's Porn Star Plans To Sue Posted: 31 Oct 2010 10:20 AM PDT Well, this doesn't come as a surprise to us. The porn star, Capri Anderson AKA Christina Walsh, is planning to sue Charlie Sheen for the meltdown that occurred in his NYC hotel room. Even though Charlie says that the events were blown out of proportion, she says that she was held in the room against her will and felt her life was in danger. She also says Charlie threatened her, even though she failed to mention that to the NYPD when they arrived to the hotel room. Walsh is reportedly ready to fly to Aspen this week to meet with Pitkin County prosecutors about what went down in The Plaza hotel room. Charlie has a lot of money so if Walsh goes far enough with her legal proceedings, he might be willing to flash a lot of dough in front of her to keep her mouth closed.
