He was followed by James Patterson, John Grisham, Nora Roberts, Tom Clancy, Dean Koontz, Danielle Steel and Dan Brown. Twilight author Stephenie Meyer didn't even make the top 10! Posted: 13 Oct 2010 05:40 PM PDT With her new album almost in our grasps, Taylor Swift is starting to open up about the music, which is all based off of people and things that have happened to her in the last year. One such song, titled The Story of Us, is supposedly about one of her ex-boyfriends. But which could it be??? Taylor explains to sources: "It was at an awards show and there had been this falling-out between me and this guy. I think both of us had so much that we wanted to say, but we're sitting six seats away from each other, just fighting this silent war of 'I don't care that you're here.' I remember getting home and sitting at the kitchen table and saying to my mom, 'It was like I was standing alone in a crowded room.' That's when my eyes glazed over and I got distracted and walked away to write. My mom is used to me doing that." Alright, well that narrows it down to two candidates. So, which is, gurl? Portman For Alien Prequel!? Posted: 13 Oct 2010 05:25 PM PDT The rumor mill is pumping a lot out about Ridley Scott's prequel to Alien and the latest is that Natalie Portman is the studio's main choice for the lead role. Sources say that unlike the later films in the franchise, the prequel would be a horror-suspense piece, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. Good! We don't need a ton of creature effects! Homophobe Carl Paladino, Landlord To Gay Clubs In New York Posted: 13 Oct 2010 05:10 PM PDT Well, isn't this an interesting turn of events! New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino, who has come under fire this past week due to his homophobic remarks to the press, has just been uncovered as the building owner of two gay clubs in Buffalo. State liquor license records show that Carl even collected rent from the clubs once and that his son, William, actually ran one of the joints in 2004 and most of 2005. Another piece of the puzzle. Adam Lambert Has To Tone It Down? Posted: 13 Oct 2010 05:05 PM PDT Adam Lambert has decided to tone it down. ….Not for good, don't worry. Fellow singer Lance Bass thinks it is a good idea as well. Before Lambert performs in Malaysia, the government has set rules that he needed to calm down his flamboyant act. Bass said that he thinks it is only fair to follow the rules of another country. Lambert has agreed to restrictions against stripping, jumping, and kissing on stage and said that he is doing it out of respect. Bass, being openly gay himself, is a supporter of Lambert. He gave his performance last year at the American Music Awards, when he kissed another man, two thumbs up. Bass said that in America you can do anything, and kiss whoever you want, but when going into another country you have to be aware of their beliefs even if you don't believe in them yourself! David Arquette's New Lady Is Questionable! Posted: 13 Oct 2010 05:00 PM PDT David Arquette's new girlfriend, Jasmine Waltz, was arrested for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana in Orange County, Florida in 2000. On her 21st birthday, Jasmine pleaded no contest and was charged with a first degree misdemeanor. She was even represented by a public defender. But the aspiring actress still owes the $458 fine to courts. She was put on a payment plan of $38 a month but she didn't keep up with that, so the court put her into collections. Jasmine still owes a balance of $146.51. And because she still owes the $$$$$, the Orange County court also suspended her driving priviliges in Florida this year.
