Emma Watson Lands First Post-Potter Role! Posted: 25 Sep 2010 02:40 PM PDT Emma Watson has reportedly signed up for her first post-Harry Potter role in the movie My Week With Marilyn, alongside Michelle Williams and Judi Dench! The film, based on the book by Colin Clark, is about the author's time working with Marilyn Monroe, while he was employed as Laurence Olivier's assistant! Watson will allegedly portray Lucy, a young wardrobe assistant. How exciting! We can't wait to see her as someone other than Hermione Granger! What do U think?? Kat Von D's EX Trashes Her HARD! Posted: 25 Sep 2010 01:40 PM PDT Jesse James is not the first man to have canoodled Kat Von D's goodies. Miz D had herself a husband once upon a time and he's come forward to share some very dirty dish on his ex! Oliver Peck, who was married to Kat for four years, tells In Touch Weekly that his ex-wifey is the "most self-centered person" he's ever known, sharing that she was obsessed with losing weight while they were married, opting for liposuction and taking drugs to shed the extra tonnage. (Just look at that picture! Such a transformation, huh? Sad!) With her fame came a person that Oliver didn't recognize. He admits that she began drinking very heavily and "throwing up every day" because of it. He explains that she would be be "incoherent and sometimes destructive" and their relationship finally ended after he learned she was having an affair! Ah, so she has something in common with Jesse other than his love of tats. Lovely! Oh, and here's a little tidbit from Oliver we found amusing. He recalls the first time he and Kat met Jesse. It was four years ago and he was with Sandra Bullock. He says: "Kat and I met Jesse and Sandra [Bullock] about four years ago at a party. Kat said she thought Jesse wasn't very cool." Times they are a-changing! Ugh! Sounds like they really deserve each other!

A Victory Against DADT, Judge Orders Air Force To Reinstate Nurse Posted: 25 Sep 2010 12:20 PM PDT This is two steps forward! U.S. district judge Ronald B. Leighton ruled on Friday that former Air Force Reserve flight nurse, Margaret Witt, be reinstated to her job as soon as possible after being discharged under 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.' The judge had called Witt and "exemplary officer" and noted that "good flight nurses were hard to find." After the ruling, Witt said in a statement: "I'm thrilled about the decision today. appreciate the Court's belief in the professionalism of the military. Many people forget that the U.S. military is the most diverse workforce in the world — we are extremely versed in adaptation. Thousands of men and women who are gay and lesbian honorably serve this country in our military. Wounded personnel never asked me about my sexual orientation. They were just glad to see me. I can't wait to rejoin my unit." In his decision, Judge Leighton wrote: "The application of 'don't ask, don't tell' to Major Margaret Witt does not significantly further the government's interest in promoting military readiness, unit morale and cohesion. Her discharge from the Air Force Reserves violated her substantive due process rights under the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution." This is a huge step in defeating DADT!
