Puppeteer Tops Highest Paid Comedians List Posted: 10 Sep 2010 05:30 PM PDT Really?? REALLY??? Making $22.5 million last year, puppeteer Jeff Dunham is the number one top-earning comedian for 2009-2010, according to Forbes. Even though his Comedy Central series tanked last year, Dunham makes a majority of his money from touring, DVD and puppet sales. Puppet sales?? Do people really purchase replicas of his puppets?? What makes this list even worse is that Dane Cook comes in number two with an estimated $21 million for his Isolated Incident Global Thermo Comedy Tour. America's Got Talent season two winner, puppeteer Terry Fator, otherwise known as the "human jukebox," is the third highest paid comedian, earning $20 million a year during his five-year residency at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. Chelsea Handler and George Lopez round out the top five. So where are funny men Jerry Seinfeld and Conan O'Brien?? According a source, top-earning comedians have to count stand-up as their primary income. Unlike the others on the list, Seinfeld and O'Brien make a majority of their money from TV. Live Nation Comedy President Geof Wills says, "To stay on top in this economy, you've got to work a lot harder. The ones who get hurt are the comedians who don't realize that they have to adapt the environment they're currently in." JHud said: "With the baby growing up, we want him to be around our family. We feel so secluded. Both David and I are the babies of the family, and we want to be home with our families as well. Things Got Bloody Awful Over On Martha's New Show! Posted: 10 Sep 2010 05:00 PM PDT This is a pretty awful story, heightened by the fact that Martha Stewart doesn't even seem to care about her audience! On monday, Martha's new show on The Hallmark Channel got up and running. The taping for the premiere episode didn't go off as planned. In fact, it ended up leaving one of the audience members covered in blood! An eyewitness explained the story to sources, saying: "As soon as they begin taping, midwest housewives are going crazy etc. when all of a sudden, everything stops. One of the cameras that was doing a sweep of the audience hit this woman in the head and she was GUSHING blood from her face. Martha was not amused, she sort of just looked annoyed the the show was even further delayed. The woman was rushed off and her family later removed and replaced by fillers. …At the end martha had to read her "promo" lines for the camera, ie. "next time on martha stewart" etc… she's going through them and all of a sudden told her producer that she wouldn't say one of the lines because it was "LOW CLASS" literally, the line was "on the next martha…" Martha was not amused?! One of her viewers is spewing blood like a geyser and the bitch is pissed about it?! Where is the sympathy, BB? This shiz would never fly on Oprah! [Image via WENN.]

Roger Ebert Brings Back Iconic Show Posted: 10 Sep 2010 04:50 PM PDT Thank God! We will finally know which movies to watch again! The revamped program called Roger Ebert Presents At The Movies will air in January 2011 on PBS and will not only cover movies, but will feature special segments on new media, classics, on-demand viewing, and genres. The half-hour show started by Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert in 1975 and is responsible for creating the famous "thumbs up, thumbs down" ratings for movies. Roger Ebert will not host the show. Jeremy London To See Alleged Kidnapper In Court! Posted: 10 Sep 2010 04:30 PM PDT Yikes! Jeremy London is due to take the witness stand at the end of the month where he will face alleged kidnapper Brandon Adams. The judge will then decide if there's enough evidence to stand trial or dismiss the charges. Adams has been in custody on a $500,000 bail since his June arrest. Adams has denied kidnapping Jeremy and forcing him to two drugs, saying they went on a consensual "joyride" and did drugs together. How do U think the judge will rule? [Image via WENN.]

Here's a statement from Dr. Drew: "Paris Hilton's current problems related to her drug arrest and subsequent criminal charges are very much similar to the Lindsay Lohan story. It's truly Lindsay Lohan's story in slow motion." More from Dr. Drew: "There is no doubt in my mind that Paris needs to seek treatment, sooner rather than later. Whether it be in-patient treatment at a rehab facility, or out-patient, Paris needs help." And more: "People don't believe that someone can be addicted to pot, I'm here to tell you they are dead wrong. I deal with it everyday. The fact that she had several run-ins over the summer, and then was arrested in Las Vegas for possession of cocaine gives me cause to worry." Hmmmm! Here's more on addiction from the good doctor: "Addiction is a progressive disease. It's progression in the face of consequences and denial that are defining features of the disease. Paris meets that criteria." More on Dr. Drew's thoughts about Paris' addiction: "Recreational drug users don't have the issues that arise that she is currently dealing with. Paris could be using the cocaine because it might have more of a euphoric effect on her." And a final statement from Dr. Drew: "I wish her only the best. I truly hope she gets the help she needs.
