J-Lo Still Has A Shot At Judging Idol…

Posted: 13 Aug 2010 05:10 PM PDT

…if she can keep up the ruse that she's not a diva!

However, according to Nigel Lythgoe, J-Lo has kept her inner diva in check since speculations of her becoming a judge began:

"Hello? These people don't know Jennifer Lopez. She's a wonderful woman. I've never seen her be a diva in her life!"

Maybe he's right, or maybe he just needs to open his eyes occasionally! Either way, he did promise that there would only be three judges.

"As far as I'm concerned, I would like the attention to go on the kids, because it's about the talent that comes on this show and sings."

We agree that most of the attention should be on the kids, but SOME of the attention should be on the judges. Idol needs a little drama!

Snooki Rejected!

Oh, well!

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has rejected Snooki's application to trademark her nickname to avoid confusion with a previous trademark from 2004.

Apparently "Snooky" has already been marked for a character in the children's book Adventures of Snooky, about a cat who gets knocked overboard on a family fishing trip.

LOLs!

Snooks still "may respond to the refusal by submitting evidence and arguments in support of registration."

Good luck!

Nicole Richie Tweets Announcement Of New Family Member

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have added a member to their family…a feline one that is.

Today, Nicole announced through Twitter that her and Joel have adopted a new cat: Tabitha Jones.

Here's what Nicole had to say about her new family member, who she found crying outside her house:

"She was so skinny and I could tell she was starving. I couldn't resist. I fed her, and she was as happy as Benji Madden in a sorority house. It's been 2 months now, so I think it's safe to call her mine."

The first time Nicole encountered her new cat, she thought she belonged to a neighbor, so she ignored her, but when Tabitha returned to Nicole's doorstep a week later, the deal was sealed.

Congrats Nicole! We wish you, Joel, and Tabitha the best!

Ke$ha Heart$ RiRi

Rihanna has a new fan and it's Ke$ha!

When asked about who she'd love to work with, Ke$ha replied, "Anywhere from a Mick Jagger to a Prince to a David Bowie. But also I'd be as honored to share a song with Rihanna as I'm honored to share her stage during our concert tour."

She added:

"I don't know what she would be learning from me, aside from how to look like a maniac, but I definitely learned a lot from her. I've only been performing pop music for under a year, so I'm relatively new to the arena thing. It's terrifying, so I really do, every night, watch her, and she's so graceful and so sweet and so badass. I saw her yesterday, and she spanked me - always keeping me on my toes. She's the sickest."

We hate to say it, but this is a collaboration we'd like to see!

DanRad's Half-Assed Half-Blood Performance

Don't be so hard on yourself, DanRad. We thought you did a great job!

Daniel Radcliffe has said that he's worked extra hard on the final two installments of the Harry Potter series, because he wasn't impressed with the results from his last film. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I wasn't entirely thrilled with my performance in Half-Blood - I found it quite same-y, and didn't think there was enough variation in it - so I've worked hard to make sure that if the seventh film comes out and I'm still unhappy with it, I'll know it won't be from lack of trying."

We're really not sure what you're talking about, DanRad. The film was enjoyable and it made lots of cash, so don't beat yourself up too much.

What did U think of DanRad's Half-Blood Prince performance?

Charlotte Church, Back To Music!

It's a gamble, but we think she'll do well!

Charlotte Church revealed that she'll be releasing a new album Back To Scratch on November 1 and it's an entirely different sound from her last album 2005's Tissues and Issues.

She says:

"This new album has been quite a long time in the making. The decision to come back to work after I had babies was a bit scary, but music and singing is what I do and I don't think I'll ever lose my passion for it.

"I've been experimenting and trying to create a new and different sound. But also one which goes with my voice. I'm a little bit nervous because it is quite different. But it's not too far away from what I used to do -my classical voice is still there."

Inneresting!

Are U looking forward to new music from Charl?

Xtina Belts One Out For The Arts

Redemption for musical butchery is a long process, but you are working your way back into our good graces, bb!

Christina Aguilera is lending her voice to a fundraiser in support of the arts. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art's latest project is the Lynda and Stewart Resnick Pavilion, described as the "the largest purpose-built, naturally lit, open-plan museum space in the world."

Xtina will perform at the grand opening celebration of the pavilion and when asked about the ocassion, she admitted to feeling "honored" by the invitation.

The gala is open to the public so if you feel like watching FAILtina rework her magic in a classy setting, dig out $5K from your piggy bank and enjoy!

Always nice to hear when a celeb lends a helping hand for a good cause!

SIGHting

Spotted: Just one day after being released from the hospital following her suicide attempt, Fantasia Barrino was hanging out with the married man she's been effing. And there was a camera crew taping the whole thing!

It's probably for her reality show. Maybe you shouldn't go right back to work, bb.

Terminator Goes 3D AND Animated

Hasta la Vista, Actors!

The Terminator franchise will continue with a 3D animated film, Terminator 3000, which is scheduled to begin production in January. No word yet on whether it will follow the events in Terminator: Salvation.

The budget for the 3D animated film will be $70 million, and the film will be rated PG-13. No information has been released about whether or not Arnold might make a vocal cameo, but he is making an appearance in this weekend's new release The Expendables, so who knows?

Nothing to report as far as other voice talent is concerned, but we all know what happened the last time people got a hold of audio of Christian Bale, so we're thinking they MIGHT go a different way this time for the role of John Connor.

Maybe they should bring back from irrelevance Terminator 2's Edward Furlong to play the voice of John Connor. That could definitely be a way to catch interest of older Terminator fans.

How Do U feel about an animated Terminator movie?
