Amy Winehouse Claims Her Album Will Be Done "In Six Months!" Posted: 15 Jul 2010 05:30 PM PDT Ah! It speaks! We've all been seeing a lot of Amy Winehouse lately - mostly stumbling around half-coherent and doing the term 'hot mess' proud - but the trainwreck/singer recently peeled herself off of a sidewalk in Camden to protest Mark Ronson's recent claims that her much-anticipated third album wouldn't be out for a while! The Wino slurred: "The album will be six months at the most. It's going to be very much the same as my second album, where there's a lot of jukebox stuff… I just can't wait to have some new songs [to perform] on stage." She also went on to lie about explain why her last live performance of the tune Valerie sucked so hard! "Mark and I recorded two versions of Valerie. We released the one that came out like the Supremes but I play the other version with my band. When I got there I completely forgot it was his version we were singing so I was probably a bit out of sync." We think that's a perfectly reasonable explanation! That or, you know, the two bottles of tequila you inhaled prior to the performance! Either/or, really! What do U think?? Do U believe The Wino will be done with her new album in six months?? M.I.A.'s new album, /\/\/\Y/\, has been getting a lot of unfavorable reviews, but the latest is coming from an unlikely source - one of her producers, Diplo, who alleges that the rapper didn't give a shiz about any of the mindless noise she threw onto the record! He reveals: "She didn't care about it. I was in the studio with her, she didn't write anything. Me and Switch tried our best to be quality control of the record and she didn't want that. She kind of went on her own way. I was like, Look, nobody in your crew—we were the only people she could trust, and our asses were on the line too. We got here because of working with people like her. We care about the way things sound, and when the people that she works with don't, then it's fucked up. She's got a talent in every aspect. She's got ideas bigger than any artist I've ever met and she's someone to fuckin' make that happen. All she has is a bunch of yes men around her and they kinda suck. I burned like twenty bridges with her. I build my own bridges, it doesn't matter. I'm honest. As soon as she comes to terms with what she does then we can work again. One of us has to be like, We fucked up, and then we can do it again." Wow! Sounds like he's pretty embarrassed with the quality of the music! We can't say we blame him! Hopefully M.I.A. will get her head out of her ass next time around, and focus more on making music then doing whatever she can to be against the grain! Thoughts??

Vampire Weekend Sued Over Their Album Cover! Posted: 15 Jul 2010 04:44 PM PDT Well, shiz! These guys are NOT going to be used to dealing with a mess like this! Hipster band Vampire Weekend is being sued for $2 million by the model on the cover of their latest album, Contra, who claims that she never signed a release on the photo! The woman is named Kirsten Kennis, and she apparently took the pic back in 1983! The band bought the photo from the photographer, Tod Brody, but Kennis alleges that her signature on the photographic release was forged and she didn't even know her image was being used until Vampire Weekend started promoting the album! Poor guys! We bet that they just wanted to be original and use some old, unknown photo, and had no idea they were doing anything wrong! Sucks! Thoughts??

Kate Plus 8 Losing Ratings Posted: 15 Jul 2010 04:30 PM PDT It seems like people are starting to care less and less about Kate Gosselin because her show Kate Plus 8 is losing viewers. The shows ratings are down with only 2.2 million viewers tuning in to last Sunday's episode, a hefty 33 percent drop from the shows debut in June. And with all the dramz surrounding why the state issued work permits to the 6-year-old Gosselin kids when state law does not allow children younger than 7 to work in TV - there's no guarantee they will be allowed to continue filming and if the kids go so do the ratings. It's sad to admit but we liked the Gosselin clan so much more during the Jon & Kate Plus 8 days. What do U think the Gosselins' next venture will be??

A Little Late, BB! Lo Denies The Hills Is Fake! Posted: 15 Jul 2010 04:15 PM PDT Oh, for goodness sake, girl, the jig is up! After The Hills finale finally let all three people who still thought that it was real in on the revelation that everything is, in fact, staged, the show's actress Lo Bosworth decided to try and keep stirring the pot by writing this little piece of art on her blog! She says: TWIST! Tuesday night, viewers said in disappointed shock, "OMG was 'The Hills' really fake all this time?" I mean, that's what you guys have been saying forever, right? Ha ha. Don't worry. It wasn't fake. I have never shot any 'Hills' scenes on a stage of any kind. Rest assured, we were simply poking fun in the way that our viewers have done since the show began to air. Our show's undeniable production value sometimes made the validity of it all questionable, but in truth (and this really is the truth), the relationships with those on the show are real. Lauren, Kristin, and I have known each other since we were all under 5ft tall. No conspiracy there. As for the others-we met them all when moving to L.A. Sure, some relationships were pushed by producers, but once pushed, blossomed into real life friendship (or hatred, take your pick). So, lovely reader and watcher of 'The Hills'-it was just a big joke's on you, without it really, truly being one. Just messin' with you guys a little. In the end, we're all in the same boat, right? Yeah - nice try! This isn't Lost, princess, there's no room for discussion and interpretation on what the ending really meant. Or maybe she really just is so thick-headed that she didn't realize that being fed dialogue and staged in scenes means 'scripted!' LOLs! [Image via WENN.]
