Farrah Fawcett's closest friends and family members gathered together on the one year anniversary of her death and dedicated a cancer-research foundation in her name on Friday. Alana Stewart, Ryan O'Neal, Tatum O'Neal, and Redmond O'Neal were among some of the guests in attendance. The Farrah Fawcett Foundation, which Farrah had founded during her struggle with cancer, helps fund alternative cancer research and treatment methods and aims to improve the quality of life of those who are currently struggling with the disease. Her best friend Alana Stewart said:
Farrah's son Redmond, who got a day pass from the sober living facility where he's undergoing court-ordered drug rehab to visit his mother's grave on the anniversary, was said to be extremely emotional. Father Ryan O'Neal said, "He lost her, and he's fragile." So sad. We hope Farrah's family can find peace in helping others who are fighting cancer. [Image via AP Images.] |

Disney's Toy Story 3 has done it again! It takes the #1 slot in its second week making $59 million at the box office, which gives the movie a total of $226.6 million in just 10 days. Very impressive! Second place went to Adam Sandler's Grown Ups in its opening weekend with $41 million and the Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz flop Knight and Day came in third with a disappointing $20.5 million. Whomp, whomp! What did U see this weekend? |

This was the glove Michael Jackson wore on his 1984 Victory Tour and for Los Angeles resident Wanda Kelley, it was worth $190,000! After making the winning bid at an auction run by Julien's Auction at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Kelley said, "Let's just say, I wasn't walking out of here without that glove." The Swarovski-crystal-studded glove was expected to sell between $20,000 and $30,000 at the auction however, according to Darren Julien, the response from bidders was "unlike anything we've ever experienced." He added that "People flew in from Asia, Russia, all over. Now that he's gone, we now realize the true legend we lost." Other Jackson items at the auction included a pair of stage-worn loafers that went for $90,000, a custom jacket he wore during a Barbara Walters interview that sold for $120,000, and one of the last autographs he signed on June 24, 2009, which went for $21,000. Things are getting severely OUT OF CONTROL between Mel Gibson and Oskana Grigorieva. We earlier reported that sources close to Mel claimed that Oksana was the violent one, shaking their baby daughter Lucia during an argument with Mel. However, a source close to Oksana says that "Mel and his camp are spinning the facts in a desperate attempt to protect his reputation." In fact, according to insiders, Mel's baby shaking story is completely false and Oksana's people allege that "She tried to protect the baby during one of Gibson's violent episodes when he punched Oksana in the face two times, breaking her teeth and giving her a concussion." They add: "She tried to protect his reputation, depsite her fears of him and his verbal and physical abuse. She regrets having believed in his empty promises to obtain professional help to control his violent nature." Oksana's attorneys have not commented on the case yet, however they did say: "The true facts will be brought out in a court of law. Oksana will continue to abide by the ethical obligations and rules arising from a confidential paternity action and will let the court decide the issue in this matter." CRAYZAY! Lady GaGa's teacup obsession has grown even more after Sir Elton John graciously gave her one of his precious vintage tea sets in appreciation of her performance at his White Tie and Tiara ball earlier this week. Gagaloo was so smitten by Elton's china collection, he couldn't help but give her the perfect present. A source close to John said that "he was tickled by her fascination so presented her with a set" and "she was thrilled with the present. It was a vintage set and probably worth quite a lot of money." Poor Beyonce. She's still giving her dad, Matthew Knowles, the silent treatment after finding out he fathered a love child while still married to her mother, Tina Knowles. And now her record label is in a tizzy, trying to figure out how to handle the situation since her dad still manages her career. A music industry insider says that executives at Columbia are worried because their relationship has reached such a low point, adding:
Knowles had an 18-month affair with actress Alexsandra Wright and fathered a boy, Nixon, who was born just four months ago. After a paternity test proved the baby was his, a judge ordered him to pay $8,200 a month in child support.
