Guy Ritchie Is Trying To Snag WHO For Sherlock Holmes Sequel?! Posted: 23 Jun 2010 06:05 PM PDT Wow, we're going to hope that this rumor comes to fruition, because he's literally the ONLY other person that we'd want to see in that role! Sources are claiming that director Guy Ritchie, who is putting the finishing touches on the script of his sequel to Sherlock Holmes, is reaching out to none other than Daniel Day-Lewis to take on the role of villianous Professor Moriarty! The character was seen briefly in the original as a shadowy figure. For a while, we were hearing rumblings that Brad Pitt was set to play him, but if Lewis is up for the part, then we're not going to complain! Every role he plays instantly becomes awesome! Unpublished Michael Jackson Photos For $ale Posted: 23 Jun 2010 05:37 PM PDT Why does it seem like everyone is still trying to make a profit off Michael Jackson? French photographer Arno Bani had the opportunity to set up a photoshoot with Michael some time back, and now the photog is auctioning off the unpublished shots. In December of this year, the photographs of Jackson will go up for sale, with the set consisting of 12 unique photos. The auction is being organized by Pierre Bergé & Associés and they'll release the catalog of the sale later this October. No word yet on how much the experts predict the auction will bring in, but also up for sale are contact boards of the photo session along with pictures personally selected by Jackson. Thoughts?

Restaurant Receives Backlash (And Bomb Threats) For Serving Lion Burgers In Honor Of The World Cup! Posted: 23 Jun 2010 05:22 PM PDT WTF? In honor of South Africa hosting the world cup, a restaurant in Arizona has been serving a lion burger, which is rightfully causing quite a bit of backlash from animal rights activists! Apparently, the meat being used is from an actual lion friend raised at a free range farm in Illinois, and although it's uncommon to eat that kind of meat, it's not illegal. The owner of the restaurant in question, Il Vinaio, Cameron Selogie, says: "In Africa they do eat lions, so I assume if it's OK for Africans to eat lions then it should be OK for us. We thought that since the World Cup was in Africa that the lion burger might be interesting for some of our more adventurous customers. Most of them, when we tell them the facts, that this is farm raised and it doesn't hurt the endangered animals, seem pretty reasonable." The restaurant has been inundated with angry e-mails, and even a bomb threat! Personally, we think serving cooked lion just to honor a sport takes it a lot little too far! Posted: 23 Jun 2010 05:15 PM PDT If you were a kid of the last three decades, chances are someone bought you one of these hideous, naked play things for your birthday. If you were lucky, your troll had a vajazzled belly! Those were the best! Anyway, because Hollywood is bankrupt of creativity these days, DreamWorks has just secured the rights to the Trolls brand and is looking into making an animated movie about them. In fact, writers have already started working on the script, which is said to be looking into the mythology of creatures. Yeah, that's good! We want to know how they keep multiplying when they are anatomically missing some key parts! It's too bad this thing will be animated. We had a list of actresses we would have LOVED to see in a live action version. Rumer Willis. Mary-Kate Olsen. Kristen Stewart. Derek Hough. Will U go see a Troll movie?

Ben Stiller Builds A School In Haiti! Posted: 23 Jun 2010 05:00 PM PDT Behold the power of generosity and Twitter! Ben Stiller made a deal and a pledge with Yahoo! to start an online charity campaign through his Twitter account. The company agreed to donate $1 for ever Twitter used that clicked on an online photo Ben posted of himself at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in France. As of this morning, Yahoo will be donating $50,000 to Ben's campaign and Ben will be using that money to build a school in Haiti! He tweeted out the happy news this morning, saying: "Hey - woke up in Europe to learn we reached our goal of 50 thousand shares - Thank You!! Yahoo will build us a school in Haiti." Amazing! Cops Called On Jeremy London! Domestic Dispute! Posted: 23 Jun 2010 04:52 PM PDT This is just so pathetic and sad. After responding to a domestic disturbance call, police arrived at a Palm Springs home and found crackhead has-been Jeremy London passed out in his car in the driveway. A source claims: "At least three or four cops showed up. Jeremy told them that he and Melissa were sleeping when she woke him up at 3 am and started kicking and hitting him. They started fighting and it scared the other tenants who were in the house. Police didn't arrest anyone but I heard them say that they were going to arrest Jeremy for trespassing if he's caught staying at the house again." Apparently, wife Melissa Cunningham is renting a room in the home, and Jeremy has been staying with her and not paying rent, despite the landlord's wishes. Unbelievable.
