Sia To Quit Music??

Not everyone is cut out for a life in the spotlight!

Singer Sia is claiming that after the release of her album, We Are Born, she will retire from performing and instead work as a songwriter for other artists!

She says:

"When I was outed by Perez Hilton as bisexual, I suddenly started being asked a lot of personal questions, which was really difficult. I'd had a relationship with a woman when I was 20, but nobody cared then. As it came at the same time as my fame, it made me withdraw, and I started to have panic attacks. It was then that I was prescribed antidepressants - fame made me develop a panic disorder. Sure, there are advantages (to fame): I can Tweet someone famous and they'll usually Tweet back; I get given free stuff, but I can afford to buy it myself. It's no wonder Britney Spears was diagnosed as bipolar. Amy Winehouse wasn't doing crack and heroin until she became successful. And then there's Heath Ledger… People aren't honest about the horrors of fame. The downsides are so overwhelming that, for me, there is no payoff. Now my dream is to write songs for others, to have a baby, to have a routine… I want a normal job. I want to be who I was before all this."

We'll see if this one actually pans out! How many singers claim to quit and then pop right back up after being out of the public's eye for too long??

And we love her! Everyone loves her!

Maybe she'll even make a cameo?! Maybe she'll sing with Lea Michele?!?!

Ewan McGregor Hooks Up With Don Quixote

Just the man to fill Johnny Depp's shoes.

Since Johnny will be busy battling Pirates for Disney come this fall, Terry Gilliam was forced to find someone to replace him in his latest flick, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.

Terry revealed while at Cannes this weekend that he has decided on Ewan McGregor for the part. Ewan plays opposite Robert Duvall, who will play Quixote, as "a 21st century advertising executive who travels back in time to 17th century Spain, where he meets Don Quixote and becomes involved in adventures with him."

Of the project, Terry admits:

"Robert Duvall is one of the greats, no question - and he can ride a horse! And Ewan has gotten better over the years. He was wonderful in The Ghost. There's a lot of colours to Ewan that he's not been showing recently and it's time for him to show them again. He's got a great sense of humour and he's a wonderful actor. He's wonderfully boyish and can be charming - when he flashes a smile, everybody melts. He wields it like a nuclear bomb!"

Oh don't we know it!

Sounds like it will be a good role for Ewan! We're excited for him!

Shia Slams Indiana Jones Sequel!

Wow - does he even make movies that he actually ends up liking?

Shia LaBeouf, who recently acknowledged how hard his last film, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, sucked, is now speaking out about one of his other giant missteps - the shiteous fourth Indiana Jones movie!

He said:

"I feel like I dropped the ball on the legacy that people loved and cherished. If I was going to do it twice, my career was over. So this was fight-or-flight for me. You get to monkey-swinging and things like that and you can blame it on the writer and you can blame it on Steven [Spielberg, who directed]. But the actor's job is to make it come alive and make it work, and I couldn't do it. So that's my fault. Simple. I think the audience is pretty intelligent. I think they know when you've made…And I think if you don't acknowledge it, then why do they trust you the next time you're promoting a movie. We [Harrison Ford and LaBeouf] had major discussions. He wasn't happy with it either. Look, the movie could have been updated. There was a reason it wasn't universally accepted. We need to be able to satiate the appetite. I think we just misinterpreted what we were trying to satiate. I'll probably get a call. But he needs to hear this. I love him. I love Steven. I have a relationship with Steven that supersedes our business work. And believe me, I talk to him often enough to know that I'm not out of line. And I would never disrespect the man. I think he's a genius, and he's given me my whole life. He's done so much great work that there's no need for him to feel vulnerable about one film. But when you drop the ball, you drop the ball."

Wow! Pretty serious digs at Spielberg!

But he does put quite a bit of the blame on himself!

Eddie Murphy Planning Another Nutty Sequel!

Does he have nothing else going on?!

Ten years after the sequel, Eddie Murphy is attempting to strap on his Sherman Klump fat suit for another Nutty Professor movie.

It just depends if the studio will let him make it! Unfortunately, he's already written a third draft.

"You know what, there might be another Nutty Professor," said Eddie. "We kind of wrote something that might be kind of funny. If the studios want to do it, we'll do it. If you don't see it, the studio was like, 'This isn't funny.'"

Ugh! Do U want to see another Nutty movie?!

Jay-Z's Financial Wins And Losses

He's doing pretty well compared to the rest of the country, but not everything is coming up roses!

Jay-Z is somewhat of a jack of all trades, but many of his investments are heading downwards.

His hotel development projects in Manhattan have already fizzled out costing him $50 million and his 40/40 Club franchise is doing well enough to get by, but not as well as expected.

His investment in the Broadway musical Fela! has yet to turn a profit and his 1.5 percent stake in the New Jersey Nets hasn't proved to be a worthy investment either with the team not doing so well.

But Jay-Z is still killing it when it comes to music and fashion, so it's a certainty he'll retain his massive wealth, even with a few missteps. Dan Charnas, the author of The Big Payback: the History of the Business of Hip Hop says:

"The first thing about Jay-Z is, he's got a lot of breadth to his holdings. He has that combination of vision, ability, fame and the power to execute working with the right people."

That's for sure! We think he'll be just fine.

Demi Can't Stop Talking About Joe

Since the two have come out publicly as a couple, Demi Lovato has not been able to stop talking about her relationship with Joe Jonas.

And it's only gonna get worse now that they're touring together!

"I'm fortunate that I get to work with the person that I'm in the relationship with," said Demi. "Rather than being across the country and texting him, I can have him hold my hand when I'm tired."

Awwwwww.

"We weren't together at the time," she said of their last collaboration in Camp Rock. "So, it was just working with my best friend. It was awesome. And now that we're in a relationship, it's even better, because we may be tired, but we have each other to be there."

What does the Jonas have to say??

"It's going to be really exciting," said Joe. "Touring with Demi is going to be a lot of fun. It'll be different this time, but it will be fun."

We're sure it will. And when if this ends, it's gonna get messy!

But not with Joe Jonas! (Does the Disney Channel Inc. even throw a prom for their child stars who have wasted their youth with them?)

Anyway, over the weekend,Demi Lovato tweeted out this adorable picture of herself and her friend Nolan as they made their way to Nolan's senior prom. According to Demi, they had promised one another to go together when they were little tykes in kindergarden.

And she made good on her promise!

Doesn't she just look lovely?!

Hope it was a magical night!
