Zoolander 2 Has Been Axed! Posted: 03 May 2010 05:19 PM PDT We can't believe it but Ben Stiller's Zoolander 2 has been axed by Paramount. The actor took to his Twitter to reveal that the studio won't fund the films. Mr Stiller said: "Ron Burgundy and Derek Zoolander looking to appear in sequels. Both men destitute, without means or intellect to fund their own comebacks." Considering all the stoopid movies that get greenlighted, we can't imagine why they'd deny a surefire hit! Sad. P.S. Johnny Depp was apparently hanging with his friend, Babybird's Stephen Jones, when the two were almost mugged! However, things took a pretty comical turn when the mugger recognized the SEKSI actor! A source says: "It was an extremely scary moment. This guy looked off his head. Johnny looked him straight in the eyes and told him to back off. The guy was OK. He looked at Johnny and said, 'I ain't stealing from Captain Jack' and put the bottle down. Johnny gave him a few bucks and told him to straighten up his life." And Johnny gave him cash after?! Wow! Country Singer John Rich Is An Asshole! Posted: 03 May 2010 05:15 PM PDT Now that country star Chely Wright has come out, she discusses the difficulty she faced coming to grips with her self. And that includes a difficult time with bigoted fellow singer, John Rich. "Early in my life I went through what I think a lot of gay people go through, thinking that I could change and pray it away," said Chely. As she tells Access Hollywood, her lowest point came during a discussion with Rich. She divluged: "He said, "You're not gay are you?!" I said, "No, John, I'm not." He said, "Good, thank God." And that began a spiral for me. I had a meltdown shortly after that." It go so bad that she considered shooting herself with a loaded gun. "I was looking at myself in a mirror…as I was about to do it. I just looked at myself and something snapped and I started to cry…and I realized I have too much to live for. I may lose my career in country music, that will break my heart, but it's okay. I have a lot of different pieces of my heart that matter and that's what I've come to learn." So brave. Does G.I. Joe Really Need Sequel? Posted: 03 May 2010 05:14 PM PDT Whether we think so or not, the world is getting one. Sources claim that theater-goers will get a second round of G.I. Joe as soon as 2012, if all things go to plan. Though producers claim that nothing has been set in stone as of yet, from casting to even production start date, they are certain Paramount Pictures is on board with the sequel and are thus forging ahead with the script. Ugh! We can't even say that the promise of seeing Channing Tatum again on the big screen makes us okay with this. The first one was just so BAD! What do U think?

Russell Crowe celebrated his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by having an all-night, alcohol fueled rager with his wife, Danielle, and recently spoke out about the experience! He says: "We made it into a great day. Luckily for me my kids are old enough now so they got to enjoy the experience… So we had a nice day with them. They usually have a luncheon. We said, 'Well, we'd rather have a piss-up (drinking session) at night time than a luncheon during the day.' So the studio organized that. My wife and I - and it's a long time since we've done this - we were still sitting outside with a vodka in hand at seven o'clock in the morning… That's why I married the girl. So it was fun." How romantic! Who needs toothpaste in the morning when you can kill all the nasty shiz you put in your mouth the night before with VODKA?! MTV and Universal Republic Records have announced that a soundtrack to the Jersey Shore will be released this summer, featuring so many fist pumping tunes, it'll make you sweat off your fake tan! If you think you'll feel some shame when buying this album, save your pity for those actually on the album! Artist featured on the soundtrack include Lil Jon, LMFAO, Taio Cruz, Akon and Enrique Iglesias (poor guy), who has record the first single to come off the album, I Like It, with Pitbull. Oh, how the mighty have fallen…hard! And what, Snooki didn't want to lay down a track?! The disc drops on July 20th, the same say the first season DVD comes out. (Holy marketing, Batman!) Who's going to pick these up?

Over 1 Million iPads Sold! Posted: 03 May 2010 04:15 PM PDT The iPhone is weeping this morning as it's bigger, badder cousin, the iPad has surpassed it BIG TIME! This morning Apple Inc. announced that in the month's time since it's release, the iPad has already sold over 1 million units. In comparison, the tablet sold twice as fast as the iPhone did when it was first released. Burn! Techies at Apple revealed that the milestone was reached due to the introduction of the 3G model of the iPad on Friday. This new model, which can access AT&T's network, helped the iPad reach it's awesome achievement. Don't worry, iPhone. In about five years, there will be something else to surpass the iPad.
