Although there may not be any explosions or half naked ladies, Michael Bay will be producing the unscripted television series,
One Way Out.

Bay said:

"For my first television project I wanted to do something that had never been done before, and I believe that 'One Way Out' accomplishes that. Combining unique twists, death-defying challenges, and stunning visuals, we are reinventing the genre, showing just how far people will go when they are stripped of their bare necessities and forced to do whatever it takes to survive."

It's said to be taking the reality adventure drama to a whole new level!

As we previously mentioned, Adam Lambert is an America Idol mentor and executive producer Ken Warwick gave some deets about Glambert and his career - or his opinion at least!

Warwick said:

"at the moment [Lambert's] not doing quite as well [in his career]." Hopefully, his Idol appearance will put him "back firmly where he belongs, as a major star," and adding that "it kind of breaks my heart to see someone with that much talent struggle a bit."

WTF?!

At a post-show press conference, Adam responded to the comments with true grace!

He said:

"It's so sweet of him. I don't feel like I'm struggling at all. I think things are right where they need to be. My single 'What Do You Want From Me,' is just breaking into the Top 10 right now. I'm really glad that they had me on the show. I really enjoyed helping the other contestants."

We think Glambert is gonna be just fine!

Creators Of South Park Get Mormon For Broadway!

This is going to EFFING RIDICULOUS.

We can't wait!!

The brilliant creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, have always infused their hysterical comedy series with musical numbers and songs, so it's no surprise that they've been working on a stage musical, but one based on the Mormon faith?!

Apparently so!

The team has collaborated with Avenue Q creator Robert Lopez, director Jason Moore and producers Scott Rudin and Anne Garefino on The Book of Mormon, which will revolve around two Mormon missionaries attempting to spread their faith in Uganda, interwoven with the story of Mormon founder Joseph Smith!

WTF?? We know!

But for all the Mormons in the world whose hearts just stopped, you can relax for the most part - despite their usual dose of political incorrectness and satire, the HIGHlarious writers have no ill will for the faith!

Stone asserts that none of their work, especially South Park, would never work "if it didn't have a heart."

"We learned a long time ago that if something is cynical just for the sake of being cynical, it won't last too long."

Parker agrees:

"There's a lot of Mormon stuff in our work because Matt and I both grew up around a lot of Mormons. I've never met a Mormon I didn't like. They're really nice people. They're so Disney. They're so Rodgers and Hammerstein. We're bigger authorities on The Book of Mormon than most Mormons. Broadway is big and scary to us. And by no means are we coming in to kick Broadway's ass. We're pretty sure we're going to get our asses kicked. But Bobby and Scott and Jason have a lot of the theater experience, so with their help, maybe we won't fall flat on our faces."

As bizarre as the concept is, we're confident that these guys will pull it off! They've got a great team assembled and rarely miss their mark.

What do U think?? Are U excited for The Book of Mormon??

Say It Ain't So! Producer Doubts Girls Aloud Will Reunite!

Yeah, we think it's safe to assume that they're done - at least, until Nadine gets her head out of her ass for a while!

People have been speculating a while about whether or not Girls Aloud - who took a hiatus over a year ago - will return with new material as a group, and their longtime producer Brian Higgins is unfortunately pretty doubtful!

He says:

"If the band continues it will be a small miracle, but then, every album was for me anyway. That's why we put so much into it, because we couldn't believe that they'd come back to us. We never assumed they would, ever. I think that the body of work in terms of released songs is 110 or 120 songs now. It is very rare that anyone will do that again, that any group coming from any scene will release five or six albums, because careers just don't last that long."

Come on, ladies!! Your respective solo material just doesn't compare!!

Time for a reunion!!

The Sarah Silverman Program (Most Likely) Comes To An End!

Sad!

Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program will most likely not make it to a fourth season!

Silverman's co-star, comedian Brian Posehn stated that he believes the show will be canned after this season "just because it was so tough to get them to give us the money to do the third season."

But may this be a case of the funnyman's growing pessimism?

Says Posehn: "I don't know. I'm also a negative person. I'm not going to be the blue sky-er, you know. I feel like we're lucky to have done what we've done, and I would be very happy to come back and do a season four. But I'd also be completely surprised if it happened."

Fair enough!

Please say it's true!

SNL bossman Lorne Michaels has revealed that they've asked Robert Pattinson to host an episode of SNL this season!

In 2009, Lorne said that he didn't know if Pattinson would make a good host, but after seeing the way he handled himself on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, admitting it "went well" for R-Patz.

Do U think R-Patz would do well as host?

The Simpleton Talks EVEN More About Her Desperation!!

Jessica Simpson - whose body, btw, is apparently just as tired of her word vomit as we are and is attempting to eat her head - is still acting super sad and complaining about being single once again!

She says:

"I just want a normal man! Somebody who's normal! That's it! I think I've said I've wanted to date a doctor … A chef…"

Wow, she's not even attempting to sound self-reliant anymore, is she?

Well, at least we can respect that! Wear your desperation loud and proud, bb!
