While she may not have won her year on American Idol, we still think that this season two finalist will go far in the music biz.

She has an excellent head on her shoulders!

Kimberly Caldwell was recently asked who she thought would be the perfect person to replace Simon Cowell once he exited the show. Her answer was what everyone's answer should be: PEREZ!!!!

Kimberly says: "I think Perez is the only other person who is so brutally honest — genuinely brutally honest — that it might actually work with him. And his opinion is respected in the entertainment industry."

Aw, aren't you the sweetest loser of a reality show we've ever heard of!!!

Jim Carrey's 22-year-old daughter Jane gave birth to Jackson Riley Santana early Friday morning in El Lay.

That makes the proud poppa now a proud grand-poppa!

Carrey shared the good news over Twitter on Saturday morning with an adorable picture of the newborn, writing:

"Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of Calfornia dynomite [sic] looks like!"

We have a sneaking suspicion Jim will make an awesome grandpa!

U2 latest tour, 360 Degrees, is at the top of Billboard's 2010 Money Makers list, pulling in $108 million in 2009!!!

HOLY SHIZ!!

Bruce Springsteen is a faraway second with $57 million, while Madonna is third at $47 million.

The list is reportedly compiled by $$$ earned through tours, CD and digital sales, and publishing royalties!!

Don't recant! When you say you had plans to murder someone, you stick to your guns!

Earlier today, we reported that Sarah Trigger, Two and A Half Men star Jon Cryer's ex-wife, allegedly tried to put a hit out on her ex. The accusation came from Sarah's ex-boyfriend Eddie Sanchez, as he was the one she wanted to do the job.

Now, lawyers have evidence proving that Eddie is recanting his story! He allegedly left a voicemail for Sarah's mother Chrissy, saying, "I know she [Sarah] didn't do anything. So did I."

Also on the message, Eddie admits that he had been interviewed by the FBI, but he does not explain why he told others that Sarah was behind the hit on Jon.

Of course, this may all be a moot point as the tape could have been edited.

Cameron Douglas Blaming His Father - Lame!

Give us a break, kid! We know celebrity children can have effed up lives, but they can also lead drug-free ones, too!

Cameron Douglas and his lawyers are saying that he should be granted bail by blaming his father Michael Douglas' fame as the reason for his drug use!

Cameron's defense lawyers said:

"(Douglas') serious heroin addiction (stems from) notoriety that is not due to any acts of his own but by dint of birth and a difficult upbringing."

"He didn't benefit from his celebrity. He was hurt by it in a variety of ways, including ways in this case."

Even the guy's shrink is getting in on these BS defense claims! Dr. Robert Millman told the court:

"He has been sort of a reckless person since he was really young, endangering himself constantly. Not violent, just screwing up in every way - car accidents, motorcycle accidents, tattoos. I think a lot of it had to do with who his parents are."

Yeah, it must have been SO hard to grow up with money and privilege he just HAD to turn to drugs!

The judge refused to grant bail for fear he would relapse and we think he made the right choice — Cameron needs to face the consequences and own up to HIS mistakes!

Brittany Murphy Prescribed Over 100 Hydrocodone Pills Days Before Her Death!!!

Earlier last week, the coroner revealed that Brittany Murphy had a number of drugas running through her system at the time of her death, including the commonly prescribed painkiller, hydrocodone AKA Vicodin.

Reports now say Murphy was prescribed 120 hydrocodone pills 11 days before she died, and there were only 11 pills remaining the day Brittany died!!!!

WTF!

Yes, Murphy's death was ruled accidental, but still!

Where did those other 109 pills go????

The LA County Coroner's office is currently on a wild goose chase to find the doc that prescribed Brit the ridiculous amount of Vicodin, but so far, no luck.

Ashley Cole Is A Mommy's Boy

What a piece of work!!

Ashley Cole is apparently refusing to take the blame in ANY capacity for cheating on his pop star wife Cheryl MULTIPLE times with a variety of skanks, and is USING his mother, Sue Cole, to try and fix his broken marriage.

A source says:

Sue is acting as a go-between and trying to calm the waters. She has been speaking to Cheryl about trying to see both sides of the situation, but Cheryl is furious that Ashley is totally unrepentant and has refused to apologise or see it as his fault and take the blame. Ashley never sees things as his fault and he feels Cheryl has neglected him. Sue Cole is desperately worried about Ashley's state of mind and feels he is struggling to stay calm. Sue has asked Cheryl to calm down and talk to Ashley and be there for him while he struggles to get well again in time for the World Cup. Cheryl is feeling calmer. She's at least listening to Sue and Matthew.

PIECE OF SHIT.

Let's ignore the fact for a moment that he is blaming Cheryl for his cheating, but he can't even get the balls to try and talk to her or even PRETEND to be apologetic?

Mommy will make everything better, right, Ashley?

Unbelievable.

The more and more we hear, the more we want Cheryl to take him for everything he has in the INEVITABLE divorce!!

This douchebag needs to know that HE IS WRONG and she is NOT to blame. At all.

Roger Ebert SPEAKS To Oprah

We mentioned earlier in the week that Robert Ebert, acclaimed film critic and cancer survivor, will be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show. As he has had so many surgeries connected with his cancer, Roger is now unable to speak and uses the aid of sign language and aunique text-to-speech program to communicate.

We've just learned the Roger will be using the program during his interview with Oprah, which will air next Tuesday. We've also discovered how exceptionally advanced the program he uses actually is. Apparently, the company was able to take audio recordings done by Roger in his earlier years and compose a specific speech track that mimics his own voice. Not only that, but the program also projects inflection and character into the words he types, so as to not just sound like a monotone track.

It sounds very impressive and we can't wait to hear it! It should be a fascinating interview!

Way to be a woman of your word and honor your obligations, LOLhan.
