Michael Jackson remains king!

This week, his concert film This Is It was the #1 best selling DVD in the country. An estimated 1.2 million copies have been sold to date, which is believed to be a record for first-week sales of a music film.

But could this be the end of MJ fever? With the DVD out and no more awards shows to pay tribute, will Michael begin to fade out now?

What do U think?

Frances Bean Cobain To Sing!

Frances Bean Cobain is following in the footsteps of her rock stars parents, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, by debuting her vocal skills - in possibly one of the most bizarre concepts we've ever heard.

Cobain will be lending her voice as part of a group of other singers on the new high concept musical project by former Dresden Dolls singer Amanda Palmer and bandmate Jason Webley, called Evelyn Evelyn.

We use the word high concept delicately because it basically just sounds STOOPID and gimmicky.

Palmer is apparently parading Evelyn Evelyn around as though the band actually singing conjoined twins who grew up in the circus and are accompanied on tour by the singer and her bandmate.

We liked her better when she was just singing about Coin Operated Boys or whatever the hell that song was.

Bean will be singing on a track called "My Space," with other contributers Weird Al Yankovic, Tegan & Sara, and My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way.

We're curious to see about her singing chops, but we think if she was smart enough to get emancipated from her mother, she could pick a better project to test out the musical waters with!

What do U think? Will U be listening to Evelyn Evelyn?

JWOWW Quits Smoking!!

J-WOWW! Good for her!

Jersey Shore's JWOWW is second in sophistication and elegance only to Snooki, but she knows when to say enough is enough and kick a bad habit to the curb!

Girlfriend has been spotted using SmokeSticks, an electronic cigarette that doesn't contain tabacco or cancer-causing carcinogens, but still creates smoke!!

We're thrilled that she is trying to kick the nasty habit and set at least ONE good example for fans of the MTV hit!

Good luck trying to quit, JWOWW!! We're sure it must be really tough, but you're on the right track!

How Do You Plead, Conrad Murray?

When Conrad Murray appears in court tomorrow, if he is charged with the murder of Michael Jackson, he will plead "not guilty."

His lawyer told the press this morning that while his client has every intention of surrendering tomorrow and appearing in court, he has no intention of admitting to being involved with the death of the King of Pop. Conrad's lawyer explained:

"He'll surrender Friday. I anticipate he'll be charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter, to which we'll enter a plea of not guilty. I expect that we'll have him first surrender to the LAPD where he'll be booked and then transported to court for arraignment."

Why do we have this irking feeling that this case won't be closed for a long, LONG time?

Fifth Fast & Furious Crashing Into Theaters! 14 Year Old Boys Cheer

fast-furious-the-fast-and-t.jpg

We guess they really have nothing better to do!!

Despite being the dumbest movies ever made, get ready for a fifth Fast and Furious!!

Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, who thought they were better than the franchise and didn't do the third film, came back for the fourth, which brought in $350 million, and now are both signed on for five.

We wonder what this one's going to be called. Please let it be 5 Fast 5 Furious!!! These movies bleed money, they don't even need to try to make it good, or have the title make sense, for that matter!

U can just shut your brain off for an hour and a half and watch the cars blow up!!

The movie will be hitting theaters in 2011.

Will U be watching???

Something Bitchy This Way Comes

Someone let Jesus know that the Bitch is back!

Though this season has been as bland as Taylor Momsen's personality, the second half of Gossip Girl is shaping up to to be insanely good!

We mentioned some MAYJAH spoilers before and now we have big news about someone heading back to the Upper East side!

All hail Georgina Sparks!

Michelle Trachtenberg is confirmed to be returning to the show for it's season finale. The actress reveals that her return starts a big "scandal" with a certain guy we all know and that Georgina is only back for one thing: "vengeance."

So who is this certain guy that causes all the trouble? Michelle teases:

"It's Chuck Bass' dead father I bring him back from the dead! No, I don't. But that would be really creepy. That would be the story if I were still on Buffy."

Very true, but considering that this isn't, we won't consider Georgina being with the father so much as we believe she'll hook up with the son!

Could a Chuck/Georgina showmance be on the way? Could U handle that? Could Michelle please just stay on the show full-time?!

Will The Real Paul Simon Please Stand Up?

The other guys in prison are going to laugh at this guy…or worse!

Rafael Ramos walked into a Citibank branch in New York yesterday, hoping to impersonate the rocker Paul Simon and walk out with the contents of his bank account. With a forged driver's license and social security number in hand, he walked up the teller to ask for his money. Unfortunately for him, the teller happened to be a Paul Simon fan and instantly recognized that he wasn't who he said he was.

Ha! Didn't see that one coming, did you?!

With that, Rafael bolted for the door and ended up in the back of a police cruiser heading downtown with charges of attempted larceny to his name.

Maybe his plan would have worked better if he had someone who looked like Garfunkel to go in with him! Keep that in mind for next time!

Pay Up And He'll Stay

With Howard Stern's Sirius XM Radio deal coming to an end later this year, the funny man is using this time to try and negotiate a new contract.

Howard's being pretty smart about it too, making sure to mention it publicly.

Just last month, he mentioned being approached by terrestrial radio and even getting offers. And Clear Channel Communications is interested in Stern as well.

However, Stern's current contract gave him $500 MILLION(!!!!!) for a five year deal.

And with Sirius XM's stock as low as it is, and the economy as bad as it is, who's really going to have the money to pay him the big bucks for a new show?

But Sirius XM does want him to stay. Says Sirius chief Mel Karmazin:

"In this world of fragmentation, content prevails. Howard Stern is great content. Howard would be sought-after by anyone. He's a great talent. Having said that, we would like him to stay with us, and we are optimistic he will continue to do so."

Yea, if he takes a paycut maybe.

And Clear Channel Radio CEO John Hogan has publicly admitted that Stern would be a great fit for his company. Adding that Clear Channel is "the most logical company for (Stern) to optimize his exposure and financial return."

Money talks. And if Clear Channel can outbid Sirius, we have a feeling Stern will make the move.
