| Posted: 23 Jan 2010 05:45 PM PST Russia's world champion ice skating team is on thin ice after a routine they performed this past Thursday at the European figure skating championships was considered offensive. The routine was based on dances performed by indigenous Australians, the aboriginals. Some say that the couples routine lacked respect for the culture and it's people. The couple shouldn't feel too bad about offending anyone, though. Now, they'll get all the press they can handle to apologize for it and will surely be on everyone's radar come the Winter Olympics. Literally! Chelsea Clinton raised $66,810 for victims of the Haiti quake by hosting a special 90-minute spin class in NYC on Thursday. The former First Daughter just returned from the devastated country with her father, so she's seen the aftermath first hand. "The day after the earthquake struck, the international community fed 3,000 people," said Chelsea. "Today, people have fed 100,000 people and we actually need to be feeding a million people. This demonstrates how much we've done, but how much more work we have to do. We need a lot of money to do that." Clinton is a regular of SoulCycle and was overjoyed at the response from other dedicated riders including Kelly Ripa and hubby Mark Consuelos. We hadn't heard anything from Heidi Montag's husband Spencer Pratt about her cosmetic surgery, but now he is speaking out in support of his wife. Spencer wasn't always in favor of Heidi's decisions for plastic surgery, but he did stand by his wife's choices saying:
Spencer was apparently a good husband to Heidi nursing her back to health after being in recovery for more than 7 weeks. He said it was "the worst experience" of his life to see Heidi right after the surgery because she was suffering so much. "Nobody that loves a loved one should see that." As for Heidi, she's glad that Spencer was there to support her:

Wicked's Idina Medzel has joined the cast of Glee for the remainder of the season and she's sure getting her share of the action! "I already directed her in the first episode," said co-creator Brad Falchuk. "She did two small scenes with Matt [Morrison], so we've started kind of easing her into it. She was great. I don't come from a musical background so I wasn't that familiar with her. … She was fun to work with, fun to direct." Oh, but it gets better! "She and Matt had an immediate chemistry. … Her first scene — literally it was 'Welcome aboard,' and they had a big makeout scene. So it was interesting for her. Bristol Palin, forever to be known as the ultimate Republican knocked-up teen, has decided that she will be virtuous and not have sex again until she is married. A wise decision, since the last time she didn't follow the Lord's plan, she ended up with a little bundle that constantly cries and wants her attention and a baby! Interestingly enough, while making her vow of virtue on Oprah today, she also said she wished sh "had had more candid talks about having unprotected sex, about having sex before marriage." Boyzone singer Stephen Gately died while at his holiday home in Majorca three months ago and it has been determined by a pathologist that he passed away due to natural causes. Stephen had been drinking heavily and smoking marijuana shortly before he passed, but neither were attributed to the cause of death. The autopsy revealed that Stephen had an undiagnosed heart condition that thickened his arteries causing cardiac arrest and ultimately his death. There were no signs of violence or foul play. Because the best time to eat at that establishment is when you're crunked! Burger King is opening the Whopper Bar, a casual dining restaurant that will serve beer! According to president of Burger King North America, Chuck Fallon, the restaurants will go up in tourist-heavy areas such as New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The Whopper Bar is even set to hit South Beach in mid-February. A beer at the bar, which will be served in special aluminum bottles that stay extra cold, runs $4.25, but if you get it as part of a Whopper combo, the bill is $7.99. "The Burger King customer is aging, so they're just trying to grow up with the customer," said restaurant consultant Linda Lipsky. "You can have America's favorite beers with America's favorite burger." Burger Kings in Germany sell beer and so do Whopper Bars in Singapore and Venezuela, but now American bars will sell Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors beers. The bar will even have an outdoor dining area, a walk-up window and delivery service. Sounds a little trashy to us! Will U be going?! |

You can! For some reason we can't understand, Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger's "Miracle on the Hudson" airliner is up for auction. So if you are in the market for a big ass plane that's wrecked with some terrible water damage, you are in luck! What else is new? Joe Jackson wants to get a more than $15,000 a month allowance from son Michael Jackson's estate, but the estate administrators John Branca and John McClain had their lawyers file papers to oppose his request. The papers also state that Joe has not shown that Michael supported him while he was alive and that MJ didn't want his dad as a beneficiary under the will. Why does Joe want the extra allowance?
