Both Brittany Murphy's husband as well as her mother Sharon Murphy were at the CNN studios in Los Angeles on Friday to tape a segment about their lost loved one. Larry asked the two how they've been holding up since Murphy's death on December 20th and Simon responded, "I don't think I am. I don't think either of us are…" "No," Brittany's mom added. In the interview scheduled to air on Wednesday, both Simon and Sharon go into the heart-wrenching details of the morning of Brittany's death with Larry as well as their lives now without her. "Sharon and I were holding each other," Monjack remembered. "And they let us know at the same time that they — that she hadn't made it." "But we knew before that. Uh oh, Coco. Reports are saying O'Brien's staff are none too pleased with the cancellation of the Tonight Show and Conan's multi-million dollar payout from NBC. Because now the entire staff is unemployed!! The Tonight Show staff feels "betrayed" by Conan's decision to reject the 12:05 am timeslot, saying they'd still have their jobs if the ginge didn't let his ego play into his choice. "They all uprooted their lives and their families' lives to move to LA for him, and now they feel like they have simply been forgotten," the source explained. "There are 200 people losing their jobs while he walks off with a payoff worth $30 million. The mood on set and backstage is dismal." Producers of the Tonight Show have said that there's been "no discussion over severance" and Coco keeps telling his employees "he simply doesn't know what will happen." "They live in these amazing houses, drive beautiful cars, live these fabulous lives and spend money like it's going out of fashion." And neither one of them will be holding back! Michael Lohan continually claims that he would do everything in his power to stop the Lindsanity! So, when he heard that Lindsay's attorney, Shawn Holly Chapman, was in NYC, Michael jumped at the chance to "Shawn was in New York City teaching law school for one week as she does every year," claims a source. "Michael Lohan had been calling her office in Los Angeles with a view to setting up a meeting to discuss Lindsay, and she called him back and said she was in NYC." The two met, but it was for a very short time and she would not discuss La Loca. "Michael was adamant about meeting with her, so Shawn told Michael she would be out to dinner with some friends, and he could come by the restaurant to say hello," the source continued. "Shawn had never met Michael Lohan before, and the visit was purely social. The visit lasted no more than ten minutes." Considering there was a federal judge at the table, Chapman was not at liberty to discuss her clients, yet it's not all bad for Michael. "Lindsay talks and texts her father at least once every day," claims the insider. "Deep down Lindsay knows that her dad does really care about her.
